Can someone please tell me why everyone on the internet suddenly started caring about the age of cartoon characters they wack off to? Its sureal because I dont even think this was a thing two years ago but now everyones apparently a bleeding heart and asking why you dont think of the feelings these non-existent people have and how your a degenerate not for jacking off to cartoons but because they were "underaged" cartoons.
Tumbler legbeards ruined everything. They've already spread to /co/ just look at most of the comments in this thread >>87112915
It's not about the fictional characters feelings, it's about you and what you're attracted to. The fact you find characters drawn with cute, childlike features and a childish/teenage personality arousing
I mean I don't personally care, the internet is the place for people to be their weird selves, or used to be, but that's what it is. They're not defending characters, they're attacking you. Also they don't want to see it and they don't want sexualizing minors (again it's not the characters they're worried about but the existence of the attraction) to be "normalized" so they try to snuff it out
I mean I always thought porn of kids in cartoons was gross despite browsing places like here for years, but whatever it's the internet, I'd either find the humor in it or ignore it. And sometimes get off to it. I'm sure most people who liked it were always aware it was bad, I mean telling someone they probably jack it to cartoon porn is basically calling them a massive degenerate, but now there's few places where people can be shitty in peace without someone thinking it's their responsibility to judge them
It's called a moral panic. This particular one comes from feminist rhetoric.
If this is about J Scott Campbell's Iron Man cover, "the sexualization of young black women" is a big issue for intersectional feminists. Almost as big an issue as people not wanting to have sex with black women. Because fuck logical sense.
I for one am glad we're worrying about comic book covers and not trivial things like global warming or Syria policy.
Wait so if she does come back wouldn't she be 19 and Peter 28? That'd be kind of weird.

Started a test thread the night before. It only got two posts and was saged. Don't care, though. Let's have a general for this series for the sake of entertainment!

>What is this?
This is Dreamkeepers, a graphic novel series created and self published by David and Liz Lillie, a married couple out of Michigan. Both artists and writers, owning an independent publishing company called Vivid. The book is mature-themed, but can get adult in nature. No, not THAT kind of adult. This is not your typical furry comic. It's a well-written action adventure comic with amazing background artistry and relatable characters. The series has been in production for nearly a decade, beginning in 2006, and has four books published. It also has a separate webcomic called "Prelude" which focuses on the early lives of the series protagonists. Because the book is an independent, two-person project, production takes time along with complicating variables. Production should be considerably shorter, however, due to the creators going full-time recently.
/co/ doesn't even do general threads for things like Marvel and DC. You seriously think you can force a general for a mediocre furry webcomic? Even Two kinds doesn't have a general thread.
>What's it about?
Basically, it is about a race of people called Dreamkeepers, living in an alternate dimension called the Dreamworld. They are essentially the guardian angels of our dreams, each armed with a unique and supernatural ability dubbed a "Power". For each person in our world, there is a Dreamkeeper just like them in the Dreamworld, protecting us while being completely oblivious to our existence. For thousands of years, the Dreamkeepers have been tormented and were nearly brought to extinction by demonic creatures known as Nightmares, who are hellbent on destroying all life. The Nightmares failed, however, and it has been a long time since their last attack, so most Dreamkeepers have forgotten about their existence, thus making them vulnerable for yet another genocidal attack. Now, a ragtag team of mid-teenage Dreamkeepers have been caught in the middle of a new looming conflict of apocalyptic proportions between the two races and they must find a way to learn more about their enemy and end the conflict before it begins.

Can we stop with Mystique already and give Magneto more screentime again
>>87116581
only if they give him back the helmet from First Class. seriously how do they finally get his helmet right and we only get it for barley one movie?
>>87116620
oh and make his hair white. Fassbender is great as Magneto but can we make his hair white now so he looks more the part finally?
>great writing
>great performance
>great design
>great development over the series
>faithful adaptation
Lol these things are insignificant against the power of the millennial audience
Looking to buy a nice hardcover comic that'll take me a while to read through? Know of anything 700+ pageish that's fantasy/sci-fi will even consider DC stuff considering I loved Swamp Thing.
>>87116510
Get the Planetary omnibus.
>Know of anything 700+ pageish
Why so short? Go read Cerebus, it's 6,000+ pages.
It's not in a single hardcover volume, but you wouldn't be able to lift it if it was.
The Geoff Johns Green Lantern omnibus is three, 1200+ page volumes of sci-fi space nonsense.
let's post some war era comics and cartoons, all wars welcomeexcept Australia, killing emus doesn't count as war
how did they get away with this?
a personal favorite
>>87116212
Because it was mocking, not pandering. Did you see the whole cartoon?

Plus4chan thread
http://boards.plus4chan.net/coc/t52034.html
Well then. We died for the first time in a while. Let's try and not do that again.
Starting with a reply to an anon who asked how many Mr. Nobodies there are. I found this one, from a movie called Puff and the Incredible Mr. Nobody (he's the duck).
Also, last thread Taffy talked about Crocodile Gena and his stand, and I saw it's very similar to Diesel's [HIGHWAY MIND]. Maybe we could put both together and make Gena the machinist who helps the two Diesels (who could also be part of Dada Party).
And lastly, someone mentioned that we could use the Betty flick which Mr. Nobody debutted in Part 7. Since Mr. Noboy already won against Loki, maybe Betty could be the previous President of the United States, who won against Nobody in an election in the past (may the previous one?). This way we could mention the episode and put Betty as a charismatic ex-President who Mr.Nobody hates since she beat him and delayed his plans.
>>87116130
Yes, let's.
It seems to have died probably an hour before I woke up.
>>87113671
Alright, so V's not a racer, just an observer in the race for the Dada Party.
>>87116446
I think we'll need to make a distinction between the Dada Party and Dadaists.
There are members of the Mr. Nobody cabinet and there are supporters of the Mr. Nobody cabinet.
I don't think Mr. Nobody would've hated her for losing against her, he's not that sore of a loser when he doesn't win unless the person who did win is a stale minded boring piece of shit.
>even the CBR posters are mad with the retcon in the last issue of Mockingbird
The problem with the retcon is that Mockingbird fucking dropped the guy to his death. When she was drugged and raped by him, that made sense. Since it was an accident that helped because she lashed out.
But if she wasn't drugged and raped, just had a fling, then why did she accidentally killed the guy? Just to cover the betrayal?
Also, the drug made her be fall in love, so even if the character really believe she just had sex, we can't trust her POV, since it is a POV born out of drug.
Did Marvel really put out another comic where one of their prominent female characters get raped?
What happened? I have sense enough to avoid Mockingbird, so I'm out of the loop.

Context, anon.
Those zebras may be servents, but they're still personified with a level of dignity and beauty. And there are white cherubs who are also serving Dionysus, so both black and white characters cater to him.
On the other hand, Sunflower was portrayed as a deliberately degrading ethnic stereotype, both visually and in her role as a servant.
Again, context. SJWs don't seem to believe in such things.
>>87115879
Is that concept art or a cel? Looks too good to be a film frame
Is anyone here familiar with this show?
I remember really liking it when I was younger, wonder if it's worth a rewatch.
All I remember about this show is that it has cool intro.

>>87115779
I vaguely remember it, is there an overarching plot or was it episode to episode?
>>87116565
I think it was mostly episodic.
I don't think Wendy is a good influence on Dipper, and is a genuinely unhealthy person.
She has her problems, but she geniunely cares for him and is much better influence on his than his sister.
bumping because green brewing
>"Oh jeez, Dipper. What is Grunkle Stan making you wear now?"
"AHH! Uh, this is.. I'm just.. teen.. wolf.. man. It turns out my great great grandpa.. uh.. Lou Pines... was a werewolf. Yeah!"
(haha that's a good pun. Oh crud, that undermines what I was going for there. Huh, I wonder if Bill Cipher has an ancestor named Lou. That would explain a lot)
>"Man, we gotta get you a better costume. Let's go to my place, I just bought a bunch of half-price Summerween crap for Halloween. I do it twice a year so I never have to buy anything at full price, the stores don't seem to realize how bad I'm fleecin' em. Man, Stan is rubbing off on me"
>"Right, let's see.." she eyes Dipper up and down. "Well, the fangs are okay, but what's with the ear-headband? This isn't anime.. and your real ears are showing." she takes it off and goes into the closet
>"Just get the rest of that off, I'll see what I can find"
"Uhh"
>"Dude. it's cool"
