Science
Human potential
Magic
pls no more Captain lesbian
>>87208603
Traditionally, I think Thor represents the magic branch of the Marvel Trinity.
But I kinda like this version better.
>>87208701
Much prefer it if it were Doctor Strange. Wanda's shit has been tossed around between mutant power, and high evolutionary dickery so much, whereas Stephen is pure magic.
/co/ halloween costume thread. also, advice thread.
for halloween my girlfriend wants to go as harley and wants me to do something that matches that. i really, really don't want to go as the joker so help me come up with some alternatives. pic related, it's the costume she wants to buy.
she also said she'd be willing to go as a female joker. should i just go as batman?
also, i feel like this should make an appearance.

is that a parody version of a DC character that parodies a DC character
Can Bishop be redeemed or is the character ruined for all time after all the shit he did during the Messiah trilogy?
>>87208509
Does Bishop even exist as a character anymore? I haven't seen him doing anything but filling space in group shots in like 15 years.
>>87208509

Ayy
So, what do you like about Bruce Banner/Hulk?
>>87208238
i like his brain
that's just about it. i've never really dug the hulk. big green barefoot guy with stupid hair
>>87208651
Stupid hair? I don't understand.
I like the premise of a character that legitimately can't entirely control his actions and can cause collateral damage but tries to do good. It puts him at odds with more interesting things than just some evil guy doing some evil shit.
However there's only so much you can do with that before being repetitive imo, and beyond that aspect there really isn't much appeal to the Hulk, or Bruce Banner.
Him being a straight superhero like in the 90s or playing Conan in space are fine it's just... not that unique.
I also like that he's one of the rare characters left who uses superjumping, it looks good in movie/animation and is fun in vydia.
So definitely not one of my favorite characters, but I'm glad (when) he's there in the background of the MU.
So, what is the Bane moment of the MCU?
>>87207834
There is none. That's why MCU sucks.
The MCU has no memorable moments
it has none
Why can't Marvel make good material anymore?
Are they just running out of ideas?
>>87207668
NYX wasn't good though.
>>87207707
You got shit taste anon
>>87207918
It is pretty comparable to the modern output.
What's the appeal to this edgy little furry manlet?
>Grr I'm really mad! I'm gonna fight everybody!
>Watch me get outclassed by literally everyone and constantly get tossed around!
>>87207615
You forgot that he's a huge weaboo as well.
>>87207615
GONNA
>not remembering that time he severely wounded a bunch of mooks
But for real, just a product of his time. Too many goody two shoes back then made him stand out
I know we usually have threads for arguing about harley's best outfit, but this time, you can make your damn own.

Which Marvel franchise will he ruin next after he's done with GOTG and Iron Man?
Thor?
Captain America??
>>87206759
Which one is next? I dunno but he will eventually get to Thor and Cap, especially since he said that his goal was to become the writer who has written all major Marvel comics.
ASM only got saved because he did USM and he's trying to shill Miles.
Let him ruin squadron supreme, so they can fix it by making a decent movie out of it and it'll be better than justice league
>>87206759
He's gonna go attempt to get his greedy hands on Peter again after his first failed assassination. This is how Bendis works, whenever he is told no he eventually does it anyway.
ITT: Shows that should not recieve a reboot
>Not being schway
I shiggity wiggity woo
>>87206740
No one records themselves doing sports any more to try and be cool. Nowadays, it's all about LPs. A rebooted Rocket Power would be kids trying to become pro gamers by streaming all day.
>>87206850
If handled appropriately, I might be willing to give something like that a shot.
In-depth synopsis of the movie script for The Flash that was written in 2011 by Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim. Back then, "Green Lantern" was supposed to launch a DC Cinematic Universe and was supposed to carry it alongside The Flash since Batman and Superman weren't available upfront.
After "Green Lantern" flopped and Warner pulled the plug on the whole thing, Berlanti revised his treatment with Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns and created the hit TV shows airing on the CW, and it's actually pretty interesting how they're so similar yet so different.
CENTRAL CITY.
Barry Allen is speeding through the city, helping people in need. While preventing muggings and accidents, he observes the Phase Lightning, a rare phenomenon notorious to the "Gem Cities", Central City and Keystone City, before an explosion leads him to a derelict building filled with squatters. As Barry cases the building in search of people being trapped, he realizes he's been lured into a trap and notices someone observing him from the flames as the floor collapses beneath him.
TWO WEEKS EARLIER.
Barry visits the mother of a young murder victim whose case was closed and assures her he'll find the culprint, before being called to a crime scene at the bank of the river that divides the Gem Cities. A young woman has been found dead with no evidence of struggle, the latest of a series of murders that the police has been covering up at the behest of city hall. Barry arrives late and is mocked by the other policemen and reprimanded by Captain Fred Chyre, who chastises Barry to wasting time on cold cases. Central City is a broken city with rampant crime and corruption and the country's highest count of unsolved murders. Barry defends that the families of the victims deserve justice, which Chyre relates to Barry's childhood.
Barry then arrives late for dinner with his childhood friend Iris West. She has recently been fired from the Central City Citizen for writing an exposé on a crooked city councilman and decides to write a blog. Barry confides in Iris about his problems with the case and she demurs on telling him something.
At the crime lab, Barry studies the body and theorizes that the victim died from exposure to extremely low temperatures, and requests a mass spectometer analysis for confirmation, but Chyre dismisses him. Barry presses him, voicing his suspicions that there's a serial killer on the loose, but Chyre shuts him down, telling him he'll be facing suspension if he goes public about it and spreads unwarranted panic.
