http://www.newsarama.com/31788-earth-2-writer-promises-genuine-revamp-in-title-s-new-start.html
So Dan Abnett is finally rebooting the Earth-2 universe in EARTH 2: SOCIETY #18, which is something people have been wanting for a long time, but he's keeping the Flash (Jay Garrick), Hawkgirl (Kendra Munoz-Saunders), Fury (Donna of Amazon Island), Huntress (Helena Wayne), Supergirl (Kara Zor-L/Karen Starr), Red Tornado (Lois Lane), Superman II (Val-Zod), Batman III (Dick Grayson) and his son Jon as the main cast and with their memories intact from all the awful shit we've read about them.
So what's the goddamn point?
>Revamping Earth 2 for the third time or so
I really like Abnett's work on Aquaman, so I trust him with this, but the editorial needs to figure out what the fuck to do with Earth 2.
They need to ditch Val-Zod and make Peeg the main hero of the Earth 2 universe. If he's just there to fill the role of Black Superman its dumb. Calvin Ellis (Pres Supes) is wayyyyy better and more interesting.
>>87391254
As long as we get a proper Justice Society book, they can do whatever the fuck they want with Earth 2.
It isn't going to end up on my pull list either way.
>>87391254
>So what's the goddamn point?
attracting people that are too cool for the main universe? so literally the original point of the series
Yo /co/ I heard you liked creeps and bullies

Don't misappropriate better girl's gimmicks. You saw what happened toUmarudidn't you? Don't think the same can't happen to Claire.
>>87390210
You wouldn't dare.
>>87390220
I would. Claire doesn't even have multiple colour swatches of her-selves each with slightly different selling points. You think she can even handle the responsibility of the front page? You'd be so brash?
Straight to the archives with you. If I come back and you're not halfway to page 10, well, I don't know what I'll do.
Tammy Lee Grimes (January 30, 1934 – October 30, 2016) was an American actress and singer.
Though it's likely /co remembers her as the voice of Molly Grue from The Last Unicorn. Rest well, Miss Grimes, in a land where no cruelties happen.
>>87390082
F-Fuck. ;_;
Isn't the Last Unicorn /a/ though?

Rest in peace.
What didn't people like about the humor?
It was good. Complainign about MCU having humor has become a meme.
Some "I watch mature movies for mature viewer such as myself" try-hard are complaining that humor break the flow, whereas, for most people, it actually elevate it and help the pacing good.
>>87390023
Yeah the biggest argument I've seen is "It breaks the tension." and the only scene where I can kind of see this is when he first gets the cape and it starts tugging him around, but I think that would have been fine if it didn't go on too long.
>>87390001
They went a bit overboard and it falls flat in some places. If you liked movies like Thor and Age of Ultron, you'll love this one.
Marvel has a habit of never letting moments develop, and just instantly deflating any tension in a story thanks to badly placed one liners.
What does /co/ think of Wallace and Gromit?
>>87389652
How could you hate them they are great!
They're fantastic.
Amazing. The sheer amount of sight gags is incredible. I see new ones every time I watch.

half of the charm of the original avatar was that everyone were kids thrown into a world of grown ups and then seeing them mature (or stay innocrent) to adapt to it

He did. Then he felt guilty and pretended it was Marge.
What exactly did Mindy see in Homer?

Not as scary as Heath.
Not as entertaining as Jack.
He could still be the best Joker ever considering the actor playing him but that would require having less retarded writers and editors and director.
Let's just hope the solo batfleck flick does a better job utilizing him.
> hire famous actor
> let him ham it up
> cut all his scenes
> director of FLASH movie jumps sinking ship
Warner Bros is a special brand of retarded.
I just want something GOOD to happen.
Just one good thing.
Thats it.
Alright, for what time he was in the movie I enjoyed him. Fuck DAMAGED though, the other tatoos I was alright with (even liked the mouth one) but fuckin damaged
This isn't a Barryfag vs Wallyfag thread. I'm not even saying everyone who likes Wally and his comics and wanted him back are spergs. I'm sure there's plenty of normal Wallyfags about and I'm not talking about them.
I'm just wondering why so many sperglords are enraptured with Wally West, moreso than any character besides maybe Batman (due to sheer popularity more than anything). Is it really just the power level bullshit? They still talk about all his great comics and shit, but treat it as this holy relic of comics writing, so it's not JUST the stupid Speed Force power levels. There are plenty of other characters who are similarly comic-y bullshit around, your Silver Surfers and the like.
What specifically about Wally attracts these whiny manchildren? Why do they hiss and squeal at any mention that someone might not like Wally or might like other characters more (usually Barry but just in general)? Waid and Johns' runs aren't some tour de force of capeshit and I don't see why it's so fervently defended, far more than the character's sales or overall popularity has ever justified.
>>87387970
>Why does Wally West attract all the autists?
I don't know. Why does he attract you, OP?
>>87387993
Obviously because I'm a giant faggot with a thing for redheads.
That's just characterfags in general. It's exacerbated by the fact Wally was completely boned out of existence for the last five years and had his spotlight stolen by Barry.
Wallyfags, Timfags, Cassfags and Stephfags, even Kylefags all had their characters screwed royally, and there's lots of them on this board because most here likely grew up in the 90's.
Halfags after Emerald Twilight were absolutely legendary in their sheer level of unending butthurt. It's not the character, it's what happens to the character.
......What?
Marvel: PAY US 5 DOLLARS RIGHT FUCKING NOW OR YOU SUPPORT HARASSMENT.
