No.
Treehouse of Horror episodes are too tame if anything now.

If only the election ended with Hillary's race of reptilian people coming down from space, killing a giant out of control half Ant Larvae Bannon and then Trump and Hillary leaving to go back to her home planet. Then Pence takes over and they have spin off that's cancelled at the pilot despite being pretty decent from what I remember.

>Good day everyone. We at Sonic SCANF would like to inform you on an important matter that will affect the entirety of our site.
>As many of you know, we have been uploading the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man comics on our website for fans to enjoy for free. Unsurprisingly, this is considered on almost any front illegal, as Archie Comic Publications Inc. is not making any profit from us. While we have been considering alternate methods to assist Archie, ultimately we came to a final decision. Out of respect for Ian Flynn and his team, we have decided to stop publishing the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics on our website. It would be unreasonable for us to continue uploading them without permission while they are suffering.
>What does this mean for Sonic SCANF? We will continue to be around for now, as the News, Forums and Gallery will still be available to everyone. However, we will suffer a massive dent in the traffic as many people only visited our site for the comics. None of us know what the future will hold for Sonic SCANF, but whenever we know something, we’ll be the first to let you know.
>Therefore, we would ask you to please accept the statement and not request us to continue uploading the comics. It would be disrespectful to both Archie Comics and us, and our decision won’t change.
>We hope to see you stick around. If not, thank you for your time and supporting our website.
- The Sonic SCANF team.
I know i'm late, but this sucks. It's understandable though.

Well that doesn't help me.
fuck I was still reading issue 69
oh well, that site was too good to last forever. I'm up to speed on the series at least.

that was one of the coolest episodes of doctor house
Wow, that's interesting.
You could have a character that's like two people in one body.
>Kinda like "Double Header", but with one head.
How come movie studios are so ashamed of their source material?
Also why do monsters and such these days always have the same boring generic look? As if we just have this accepted idea of what they're supposed to look like, even though they could look like anything
>>87589629
These movies aren't meant for you nerds. It's meant for the lowest common denominator. They will change anything they find necessary to ensure the biggest bucks possible (see what they did to Dormammu in Dr. Strange).
>>87589629
>Also why do monsters and such these days always have the same boring generic look?
They've been that way in the comics for a long time though.
Hey, lets all shaddap about the Primus-damn election and read this fun crossover. Because its really fun. Funny too.

Ha. References.

That graffiti is probably a reference to something, but damn if I know what.
>Fede Alvarez, Nikolaj Arcel, Dean Israelite, Jonathan Levine and Mark Andrews were approached to direct before Scott Derrickson was hired.
>Benedict Cumberbatch initially declined the role of Stephen Strange due to scheduling conflicts with his theater commitments. Mads Mikkelsen, Joaquin Phoenix, Jared Leto, Jake Gyllenhall, Tom Hardy, Colin Farrell, Ethan Hawke, Jack Huston, Oscar Isaac, Keanu Reeves, Matthew McConaughey, Ewan McGregor and Justin Theroux were approached to play the role before filming was delayed to accomodate Cumberbatch's schedule.
>Ken Watanabe, Morgan Freeman and Bill Nighy were approached for the Ancient One before Tilda Swinton was cast.
>Rachel McAdams had previously been approached to play Pepper Potts in IRON MAN before being cast as Christine Palmer.
>Mads Mikkelsen had previously been cast as Malekith in THOR: THE DARK WORLD, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.
>In early drafts, the Ancient One was a Asian man and Wong was not featured. When the Ancient One was made into a Celtic woman, Wong was added to the story as one of Strange's mentors rather than his manservant.
>Early drafts included Lord Nightmare, ruler of the Nightmare Dimension, but Derrickson believe that the concept was too complex for the first movie and the character would be best served being properly introduced in a sequel.
>In early drafts Strange reveals that he went through the loop thousands of times before Dormammu decided to accept his bargain, and that he remembers each and every time he died, but this was cut from the movie.
>There were plans to introduce Clea, Strange's wife in the comics, but Derrickson decided againt it because the character's backstory was too complex for the first movie.
>Early cuts had a slightly darker tone that didn't ressonate very well with test-audiences. Dan Harmon was then hired to revise the script and more lighthearted beats were added in reshoots.
>Early cuts featured a subplot about Strange's sister, Donna, who falls into a river while they're playing together and drowns despite his attempts to save her, motivating Strange to study medicine. Lulu Wilson played Donna, but all of her scenes were cut.
>Early cuts featured an extended prologue with scientists at CERN studying parallel dimensions intercut with the Ancient One teaching the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj to evidence the parallels between magic and science, which was cut to keep the mystical elements shrouded in mystery.

Let me guess, because it was too dark for a disney marvel movie?

Not that the quips ruined the movie for me, but Marvel needs better test audiences.
Aaaaand one more for today. Here's IDW's "Who is Marty McFly, part 2".

I'm really enjoying these. They've got the tone of the film pretty perfectly.
I'm completely new to comics.
Can anyone recommend me an offline reader that loads a chapter into a single page to scroll down?
Keep looking buddy
>>87588177
xreader?
by chapter do you mean issue? most offline readers have you tape or click the pages to scroll left/right, maybe you could change that in the settings? comixology is the big one. there are some good online comic readers though, however they dont support the industry
Liked last week's Sonic Mega Drive? In the mood for more classic Sonic comics? Flynn and Archie have you covered. Here's Genesis of a Hero part 1.
This issue is comfy as all fuck. It's got a real Gallagher/early Penders feel to it, mixed with Flynn's game-mimicking style.
Why is it that 90% of his stories revolve around triggering Batman's PTSD or "muh fear gas"?
Is he really that conceptually broken or are writers just lazy? How can we fix him?
>>87587979
Unfortunately there's only so much you can do with a doctor who gets off on his own research.
>>87587979
>How can we fix him?
You could place more of an emphasis on his manipulating people through fear, no fear gas just using his specialist knowledge to coerce people into doing what he wants, it could be interesting
>>87587979
Scarecrow is conceptually broken AND writers are lazy. He mostly survives by virtue of iconography and being interesting as a one-off scene, he's really very shallow and for a long time villains were even using his fear gas without him showing up, making him totally worthless.
Well? Which are you?
*spork* xd :-)

All Hail King Julien drops its fourth season on netflix here on friday. Why are they making Clover a slut?
She just wants a strong powerful man to sweep her off her feet and protect her like the ones in her stories.

>King Julien discovers he’s a terrible judge of character, Maurice isn’t really a lemur, Clover is a fantasy novelist and Mort activates an army of his clones! The party keeps raging when new characters Pam, Koto, Morticus Khan, and Brosalind come to the kingdom – and ends on a massive cliffhanger to close out the season.
