Why don't Carol and Mystique just make up and make out?
>>87687442
Because of Carol's self loathing.
>>87687442
I bet they have, it's just that Mystique was in disguise at the time.
>>87688878
Mystique's probably got Carol's taste in women down pat at this point.

I should note that in the case of TF characters, any IDW artwork used is just because it looks nicer than screen shots of the G1 cartoon but I was quite fond of early IDW Megatron regardless
>in versions of TMNT prior to TMNT 2012, Michelangelo was a bit laid back, maybe didn't take things quite seriously enough, and a little bit more of a lover than a fighter
>In the 2012 TV series, he's an idiot
What gives? I actually think it's an okay enough cartoon, but this bothers me a bit.
>>87675314
2012 show does a LOT wrong. a LOT
but this isn't something you can blame them for starting. he was a retard in the 2003 series, he was a retard in the 4th movie. and he wasn't exactly bright in the 88 cartoon
it should still bother you, because in real TMNT (comics and puppetmovies) he's clever, lazy, genuinely funny, super creative and artistic.. he's the perfect fourth member of the team
>>87675314
In the 2012 every turtle is more laid back than previously. Even Leo is shown to be a bit of a nerd and has been shown to sometimes be overconfident. Raph is now reading comics instead of mocking Mikey for it. Donnie is the lovestruck one and he's a lot more emotional than his previous incarnations.
Mikey is not the only "teenager" turtle anymore, hogging all the hobbies and "cool" activities. His stupidity is a bit jarring at times, but his niche has changed.

To be fair though his crush on Shinigami is cute though
We post god tier page from comic
Many people have told me they like this inparticular piece

>All this shilling for shitty Rucka comics.
Why?
alright /co/ I did this with /v/ with videogames now Whats the best Star Wars comic book out there?
Literally all of this is Non Canon according to Disney

Tales is great, Twin Engines of Destruction is great, I liked Crimson Empire 1. My favorite is probably the Clone Wars Omnibuses though.
Mumm-Ra the Ever-living has failed to destroy the Thundercats for the last time! To salvage his standing with the ancient spirits of evil, Mumm-Ra crossed over into Eternia, the homeworld of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. While disguised as the Sorceress, Mumm-Ra nearly killed Prince Adam and stole the fabled sword of power. Adam managed to transform into He-Man and save his own life, but Mumm-Ra got away.
Unfortunately for Mumm-Ra, the evil spirits have already doublecrossed him and chosen a new partner: Skeletor! Now, Mumm-Ra has apparently been destroyed, and there’s no one who can challenge Skeletor for the Power of Greyskull.
CraveOnline is proud to present an exclusive preview of He-Man/Thundercats # 2, by writers Rob David and Lloyd Goldfine, with art by Freddie E. Williams II, and colors by Jeremy Colwell. In these pages, Skeletor discovers that getting rid of Mumm-Ra may be harder than he thought, while He-Man is about to have his hands full with his regular villains and the vile mutants of Third Earth. But where the mutants go, can the Thundercats be far behind?

HAHAHAHA!!
Skeletor is a fucking god!!!! Best villain ever!!

Interesting and brilliant way to connect the Ancient Spirits of Evil with Serpos and the Golden Disks of Knowledge!

"Muscle-brained buffoon"
Classic Skelly insult!
Can't wait for Legends' and Arrow's writers to shit up my Supergirl and Flash story lines.
So Supergirl IS in the same CW-world now?
ACK! ACK!
So what's Marvel going to do with this? As far as I know, the most recent thing published through the Max imprint was Nick Fury: My War Gone By.
There's been some good comics printed though here, some not-so-good but I'm sure people would be more interested in more hardcore stories than more Squirrel Girl. There's definitely a market for adult-oriented comicbooks, so is the Max imprint not profitable? Or is Marvel just too stupid to cash in on that demographic or do they just not care?
>>87695218
all the writers that have any sort of adult-oriented stories are saving them for their creator owned series instead.
>>87695218
it's most identified with Alias, which Bendis wants to make more money off of, and Punisher, which is ~*problematic*~
>>87695362
I didn't even consider that angle. Why doesn't Marvel just do with Max what DC did with Vertigo and get writers to come up with an off-the-wall series like Preacher or Sandman?
>>87695584
I just remembered Garth Ennis is doing another Punisher comic, it's a prequel to Born. From what I've heard, he's got free reign from Marvel to do whatever he wants with Punisher. Why not take certain other writers who have proven that they can write whatever Marvel character better than anyone else, and let them do the same?
Or maybe capitalize on the Netflix series? Have someone write a Daredevil MAX special or more Luke Cage. What about Iron Fist? Or fuck it, come up with new characters specifically for the MAX imprint. That way, you can build up the brand as something other than "R-rated Marvel Comics."
If Superman is willing to do this to the Spectre why doesn't he just lay Batman out once and for all?
>>87693997
>>87694008
In any crossover the Spectre's specialty is jobbing.
>Meanwhile, Shannon has spent the year dancing around his opinion on Zack Snyder‘s “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice” in which he briefly played the corpse of General Zod. Well, he can’t really give his verdict because he simply didn’t finish watching it.
>“People ask me about this all the time. Okay, I’ll tell you the god’s honest truth. Zack [Snyder] is gonna kill me for this – he’s gonna kill me. I watched it once and I fell asleep,”

He wouldn't be the first one.

I fell asleep watching man of steel. Was just bored to tears with Dawn Of Justice.
Being a DC Fan is suffering.
Why does the MCU have such awful villians? The only decent ones are Loki and Red skull, everyone else is completely uninteresting

Test Audiences
Scary ones get negative feedback and thus softened.
And keeping them alive for multiple movies is a bit useless as the universe may very well be restarted before they exhaust all the ones they have access too.
>>87694523
>as the universe may very well be restarted before they exhaust all the ones they have access too.
For as awful as the Dark Knight trilogy ended up, I really enjoyed having Scarecrow show up in all three of them. I guess it just helped keep things kind of grounded?
