Why was DC so anal about creating live action TV versions of Batman and Superman?
And what changed their minds about Supes?
Because they're do desperate to have a movie universe like Marvel, and they foolishly believe having tv versions will confuse people.
>>87778581
Johns getting a role in live action helped
>>87778616
You're really underestimating how stupid people can be if you don't think having a different version on TV and in movies would confuse some people.
The question is just how many people are that stupid, and how much would it actually affect box office sales and reviews.

Is Hamill right?
>Asked what he thought of Jared Leto’s portrayal of the manic, deranged, murderous clown, in Warner Bros. Suicide Squad, Hamill said that he loved his performance, adding that he hasn’t seen an interpretation yet that’s made him go, "That was terrible." Instead, Hamill explained, the key to enjoying different iterations of the character was to look for what that version needed to be in that moment. Jack Nicholson’s Joker, Hamill said, was very different from Heath Ledger’s simply because it had to be.
>"Everyone brings a different spin to the character and you have to look at each script separately," Hamill said. "I don’t think there’s a definitive version of the Joker and I don’t think there can be. It’s like Hamlet, really. It’ll be constantly redefined."
Yes, cause it's just good common sense.
>>87778416
Man, from the thumbnail Leto looked really like Arkham Asylum Joker from the final boss fight
It makes sense. Suicide Squad's script was terrible, so Joker became terrible in response.

I once threw my Batman toy in the toilet and pretended he was drowning. So I decided to create a "log" for Batman to grab onto to save himself. I didn't want to touch my toy after that so I just flushed my toy down the toilet with my turd.
>>87778355
>>87778355
Oh man. My mom would have kicked my ass if I did that. I have theorized that she secretly kept an inventory of all the toys she bought me so she'd know if I lost something she paid good money for.
So, they're dropping the "Injustice" plotline, right?
It tied into the coming of Darkseid so probably not.
>>87778184
Injustice made more sense with the progression.
Here it is "huuuur Lois diiied, I will conquer the world!"
This Superman is unstable and autistic.

I agree with both.
I've always thought a Gazpacho spinoff would be great.
what happened to adult cartoons?
Cartoons are for children, not adults anon.
Family Guy, Futurama,South Park etc are your choices. If you want adult cartoons you're gonna have to watch anime.
Sorry.

How would you handle the press if you became a superhero? Would you give an interview? Would you be on the news all the time? How would you handle tricky questions?
>>87776460
It largely depends on the nature of my powers, I think. I'm a flying brick with super strength, durability, and maybe a hyper sense like the example in the pic? It's not a big deal then, and I might ditch the idea of a secret identity and go public and get a sponsor. Giving interviews? Sure thing.
But let's say that I'm a telepath, or I can turn invisible, or worst of all, I can heal people instantly. I might use my powers as a 'super hero', but my life is literally on the line if I'm found out for who I am and what I can do. Interviews are off the table, unless I can disguise my powers to be something more simple (and less in demand).
Yeah, I would, and I would probably comply with the police too. I haven't got the energy for the kind of shit the vigilante-type capes go through on a day to day basis, always getting framed for murder and dodging the law. I honestly might even go the hero-for-hire route and ge a glorified PI/bodyguard.
Do you think we could make a crime detective agency?

There is still an unidentified easter egg in the Gaurdian of the Galaxy movie why haven't we been able to find.
I haven't done a rewatch because of both being busy and thinking I'll be too late.
I'm also worried it will be a /tv/ referance rather than a /co/ reference. Reddit is organizing group watching but I wanna beat them. Anybody else?

Was he right?
>>87775540
Nope. Hamilton was a massive faggot. He was happy to be Superman's buddy so long as Clark was jerking his science boner, but the second it stopped being all fun and games he showed just how full of fear and jealousy and straight up inhumanity he really was. Some guys are just looking for an excuse to be bastards. Realizing that, yeah, Superman's fucking scary was his excuse.
Reminder that not even the creators liked him even before he went bad
>>87775848
Why?
