This day next year, The Jungle Movie will premiere on Nickelodeon
I guess I can put off killing myself for another year.
>>87895262
I guess Nick's callous nostalgia push isn't so bad after all
pity they keep killing new cartoons
Neat.
See, Launchpad is confirmed to be in the reboot. You can calm your tits now.
Oh, hey, Donald is wearing the black shirt like in the comics.
>>87895042
Goddamn it. I really wanted them to go down their own route and do something that drew a little more from the comics.
Hopefully he'll be a recurring character rather than a main one.
>>87895042
This looks absolutely incredible and I can't wait to watch this. Premiere date when, dammit?
>told by friends to watch Steven Universe
>"yeah, the first season sucks, but after that it gets amazing!"
>marathon the whole thing in a week
>Season 1 was the best one
What did they mean by this?
That they had a different opinion than you
>>87894785
>this season didn't have my favorite meme character so it's the worst
they don't think in terms of actual quality
>>87894785
season 1 has the most filler episodes so far from any season.maybe thats why.
The creator herself said the show oficially starts on jailbreak.

Batman V Superman is the greatest superhero film in a generation
prove me wrong
>Couldn't even get the shot composition right
>>87894230
you're right that means the movie is shit
>>87894079
>huuuur put this dream sequence here because its cool! The flick is too linear!
>But Snyder, why? What this mean?
>LOL I dont know, we will figure it out later!
You are now charged to be a counselor for these two, how well do you do?

Tell Thanos that he needs to focus on his needs and his wants. His entire world can't revolve around death
>>87893551
there's nothing to save. Thanos got over her and is now courting Oblivion and at the same time a splinter of him has been embraced by Death and is now going to be by her side forever
It depends how it's written. In a lot of stuff it's not really a "relationship" it's Thanos being a really passive-aggressive stalker.
There's a good way to do Thanos, which we'll call the Mad Titan, and there's a bad way to do Thanos, which maybe we can call the Infantile Beta. He gets the latter a lot, sometimes mixed with the former.
So what's more played out and dumb?
>Evil for Evil's sake
Or
>"Muh abusive dad"
>>87893463
Outside of maybe BvS Lex, who just used the father abuse to justify his own shitty god complex like in Smallville and a number of other comics, I cant think of any muh abusive dad villains. I guess Ultron maybe?
>>87893674
>>87893463
Also Ang Lee's Hulk i guess

>People dumping on Hellcat
Kate Leth is the best thing that has happened to this industry
I am shocked that Hellcat's target audience is different from the audience that comments on bleeding cool

TEAR
How old were the characters even supposed to be? I have no idea.
Middle schoolers? High schoolers?
>>87893295
Very young which is sad, as urban youth they will not live longer than 22. Also, I heard Albert's gangs about to go at it with local Neo-nazis from the other side of the tracks.

Kek, ya got me.
>Successful and likable animal protagonist
>Literally hundreds of magical dragons at movie's disposal
>Center plot and conflict around human bullshit melodrama
Success is a fluke.
Name a more pretentious kid's movie shoved up it's own ass.
Fuck is Hiccup wielding a flaming sword?
When the hell did that happen?
>>87894507
Did you not watch the second movie?
>>87893104
The movie was great, and it showed the evolving relationship between humans and dragons - from 3 different angles - and is implying that it will have a bigger impact on the world.
>Frazer Irving on Doctor Strange
How do you think he'll do?
his art style seems to fits in the whole weird, trippy magic genre so I thiink he'll do good
>>87892983
This makes me feel old, I remember when he started at 2000ad on strips like the psychedelic war story Storming Heaven (which, incidentally, is named after a great non-fiction book abut the history of LSD) and stuff like that, back when he was trying his damndest to draw like Bernie Wrightson's classic horror/Swamp Thing period...but considering the aforementioned Storming Heaven had weird psychedelic magic scenes (and I'm pretty sure Irving wasn't working digitally back then, this was around 2001, I believe) that he did a great job with back THEN, then I think he'll do a great service to The Doctor.
>>87892983
Probably better if Doctor Strange were about magic anymore, and not just a guy swinging an axe around futilely.
Behind this mask is an idea, and ideas are bullet proof

But Cyclops is worse than hitler http://m.imgur.com/a/pzAbl
>>87892799
The most ridiculous thing about all of this is that the inhumans never really talked shit about Cyclops. To the inhumans he was just "that other Summers brother that Black Bolt killed." Yet they were the only ones that really lost anything. Meanwhile it's mostly the X-men treating Scott like Hitler.
Seriously, fucking why? If they made it so the Blood Cloud Alchemy created ended up killing a shitton of people then OK, it's still not Scott's fault but I can see why people would blame him for it. But at no point did real Scott or Emma's fake Scott do anything wrong. The worst they did was Emma causing an international panic and rioting by doing that psychic signal. That I could also understand people blaming him for, but again, people don't blame him for that, people blame him for his "attack" that Sunfire was complicit with.
That attack where no one died.

I'm a 3rd year filmographist and I made this video essay explaining why Marvel movies are ugly.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpWYtXtmEFQ
thoughts? Yes, this is being graded by the professor.
>>87892654
Acknowledging the coloring of the movies could be a bit better, its still the best we have as far as super hero movies. I mean you wanna talk ugly super heroes just look at Zach Snyder's Superman movies.
>>87892654
>You fool! You've made one of the classic blunders! The most well-known of which is don't start a thread on /aco/ with "no diapers pls", but only slightly less important is "Never start a thread with an OP image more interesting than the topic!"
Now, who wants to discuss Wanda's sweater puppies?
>>87892774
>the best we have as far as super hero movies
Nolan trilogy shits on everything Marvel ever produced.
>Actual war
>Between the same group of people
>Battle is not in a CGI parking lot
>Good motivations, not going to war over dome guy cosplaying as bucky and Maria getting killed
This was a better civil war, honestly.
Literally the only differences between this and most MS films are the moments of levity.
No, there was nothing positive about X3 at all. Literally one of the worst superhero movies ever made.
>>87892103
I never thought of it, but you're right
I just saw pic related with my daughter (and I have subsequently banned this show) and have never seen a bigger pile of poorly made shit, what is the CO consensus on this drivel?
I like the reboot that happened this summer and my niece and daughter found the first Welcome to Monster High movie decently entertaining for tween girl entertainment.
>>87891550
>I have subsequently banned this show
Why? Never seen it, does it promote degeneracy or something?
Personally, I don't like it.
My biggest problem with it though is, as someone who loves creature designing, I hate how the characters look.
It would have been nice if they at least tried to be a bit more creative with the idea that all the characters are monstrous high school students, but instead they just gave us slightly altered Bratz designs.
