Why isn't Aquaman allowed to have a beard or a son?
how're the wife and kid?

Black Manta killed his son.
And shaves him while he sleeps, or while they're battling (Your slash missed, Manta!/Did it? Did it really?)

Don't false flag, you're not cranky.
I was at the movies about to watch Doctor Strange when they showed the GOTG teaser. Some girl shrieked and exclaimed at how qt and adorable Groot is.
As a heterosexual male, is it weird for me to find such things cute, or have I been spending too much time on 4Chan?
I think Kamala is cute, but not in a waifu sort of way.
I normally don't think this way off Tilda Swinton as cute. However, as the bald, Ancient One, she kind of looks like an old baby.
Is it weird? No.
The fact that you thinking it's cute makes you question whether it's okay for a heterosexual male to think these things is kind of weird, though.
Are you spending too much time here? Any time spent here is too much, so yes.
>>88008512
>an old baby.
>>88008512
No you sound pretty normal aside from the overthinking all this.
>she kind of looks like an old baby
Fuck
Why do people not like this? I have heard people shit on this movie for years and it has a 4.9 rating on IMDB.
Is it just nostalgia on my part? I'm not saying it's a masterpiece but I think it's super enjoyable. Only saw the sequel once, didn't care that much for it - worth a rewatch?
It's an hour and forty-five minute long slog of a setup to climax at an incredibly cheap shot at Scrappy-Doo, punctuated by straightfacedly making every "dude weed lmao" and "Fred wants to fuck everything" joke that people made in jest about the cartoon. To this end, it's quite literally a fan wank of a story made by people who weren't actually fans.
If you like it, great. But I for one think it's fucking terrible.

So what happens if he gets mortally wounded? Or is he just safe from all bodily harm if Death refuses to take him.

He heals very slowly.
He managed to avoid drowning by not drowning, so...

>avoid drowning by not drowning
Eh, makes as much sense as avoiding death by saying nah.
He just doesn't die.
Diseases still have the same effect, but he can never die to them.

Nice meem dood
What new breed of insanity is this?
Huh, this is actually pretty nice. Great choice of music and Simpsons moments.
I just wish the music were custom made for this purpose. Right now it's still lacking Simpsons voice samples that are really integrated into the music.
Do you want to get this show back?

No, I prefer new shows. This netflix revival thing is gay.
Remember when Guy Gardner was a tattooed shapeshifting chick with big tits?

What are some great stories from the bronze age of Batman?
>>88011327
Dennis O'Neil's run is mostly solid, not necessarily always "great". Englehart's run is probably the pinnacle of 70s Batman.
>>88011409
>Dennis O'Neil's run is mostly solid, not necessarily always "great"
I hear this a lot, but it's hard to find a better recommendation than that. As much as I love stories like the Demon saga and OP, but a lot of his stories don't exactly hold up due to the writing style of the time.
>Englehart's run is probably the pinnacle of 70s Batman.
Any recommendations aside from Strange Apparitions, which I own?
Anything with Frank Robbins on art as well as writing. Specifically detective 421 and 427 (those numbers may be off). That should be the one where Batman breaks into prison and the one where he plays Russian Roulette.
Also, the run written/edited by Archie Goodwin with art by Alex Toth, Walt Simonson, and Jim Aparo. If you track down the original issues they'd in the 100 page format with some pretty cool reprints. Probably my favorite comics format.
This show has fantastic memorable and likeable characters, an easy-to-understand yet complex plot, smart modern humor, and an excellent soundtrack.
So... Why isn't it as popular as it should be? It gets the ratings and views that grants it new seasons, sure, but I rarely see any discussion about it Online even when Season 6 was airing. Granted, it takes years of break time to come up with a season, but there should be a lot of buzz around a supposed fanfavorite show once it comes back, right?
There was like only one thread a week about it here when it was on air, its subreddit still had months old threads on the hot page, and barely anyone mentioned it on TV-related forums.
So help me understand /co/, why is such a long running show of great consistent quality isn't getting enough recognition?
>>88011286
It's not out on a consistent basis.
>>88011319
/thread
>>88011286
/co/'s discussion of material is inverse to its quality.
This is well known.
How does this whole series fit into Hypercrisis? Why didn't Elaine or Michael or Lucifer or The Endless appear at all during Final Crisis or any other big, cosmic DC event?
>>88010677
I'm pretty sure it doesn't OP.
I think it has something to do with Neil Gaiman not wanting it to. I remember someone else telling me that The Endless and the entirety of The Sandman was shoehorned into the DC Universe because DC and Vertigo were writing Gaiman's checks.
It implies that if Gaiman had his way they'd be their own separate Universe.
So when the universe got Rebooted it didn't include them any more.
No Endless means Lucifer is just another Satan in the DC Universe.
>>88010765
You can effectively turn the Batman villain who stole Morpheus' jewel into just some sociopath and write out the Mystery Comics' Sandman (with the gasmask) and have the entire series be a standalone in the same venue of Hellboy or Spawn.
At least I think Hellboy and Spawn are their own universes separate from DC.

Which Marvel/DC character is most similar to Guts from Berserk?
>>88009312
Bane.
>>88009312
I guess wolverine. Maybe punisher.
>>88009312
None because Berserk is hentai and his motivations are he was raped as a child then watched his gf get raped to the point of being mind broken by his friend.
Its a terrible manga with a terrible plot and terrible character motivations.
