The sex.

Was it funny, /co/?
>>88021084
Yes.
>>88021084
It was funny when I first saw it at age 12.
At the time? Yes. Absolutely.
What does /co/ think of the Max series of comics and which are your favourites?
>>88020826
When I used to use a name and storytime, this imprint/series I only posted the Garth Ennis run.
>>88020932
And I always loved it.
Always wanted to read Wolverine Max. Not sure if it was shit though. I tried Deadpool Max and it was awful.
>creates clones of himself
>doesnt immediately start an orgy with himself
How is this show so fucking unrealistic?
>>88020727
Even Steven finds himself too ugly to fuck.
>>88020747
Only one of them is the handsome one.
>>88020771
Right, the nonexistent one.
Here he comes now, the big ham.

Die in a grease fire...
> Weapon X
> Cable
Meh, if Squadron Supreme isn't getting relaunched and male Thor isn't getting a ongoing after the Unworthy Mini then I guess this would be as decent a place possible for Marquez or Immomen to waste time.
>>88020242
Just not Hopeless. No Hopeless anywhere. I want hope.
I can see Duggan getting tapped for Cable. Weapon X could be the return of Yost, maybe?
Why do people continue to work there?
Well Gotham doesn't seem to be in the best economic state, so it could be either work at Arkham or no work at all considering there are that many criminals in the city
Blah blah blah job market's shit.
-State pension
-More billy clubs than you know what to do with
-Spy on some Harley/Ivy lez action in the shower
-Their cafeteria soda fountain hasMr Pibb
Hey fellas, can you do me a favor? Don't buy IvX. Just don't. Feel free to read it, but save your money. TIA
Until they bring Cyclops back it's gonna be pretty hard for Marvel to get a dime out of me.
Haven't bought a single comic in about three years. I read everything here.
Fight me, buyfags.
Hahaha. As IF I'd miss collecting that many variants! Even if it's shit, I have to own them all in case they're worth something some day.
I don't care about this backstory shit, I care that you can see an outline of Beatrix's butt.
Oh shit, he actually updated. So, who/what are these monk guys?
>>88019644
Oh, so that wasn't a flashback to a time something creepy had rampaged through the countryside, it's something that's happening right now. Neat.
>>88020356
Wait, do we know that? I thought the entire point of this comic was to prove the opposite. The dragon we see isn't attacking the town that Beatriz is in. Some weird cyber monks are there instead.
What went wrong /co/?

A piss poor script mixed with terrible CGI. Its possible that producers at the time thought Ryan Reynolds and a weird alien superhero story was enough to make a profit and didnt think they needed to work that hard. One of the biggest sins was being given so much material to work with and yet creating a forgettable movie set on Earth most of the time. First Flight is arguably the perfect Green Lantern movie and about what I wanted to see
A shambling chimera of several script mashed together. The overreliance on CGI that aged like milk and ended up giving us Ryan Reynold's face floating over a boneless cartoon sea for the big set piece moments. A romantic subplot so lacking in chemistry or remotional resonance that the most interesting thing on screen when the characters are expressing their feelings is the Pocket Fighter and NFL Bitz '99 machines in the background, a protagonist that shifts between angsty teenager and cocksure bag of dicks from scene to scene without ever stopping on "genuinely likable" to the point that the villain is the most sympathetic figure the movie has, and utterly blatant and derivative sequel hooks that completely paused the narrative.
The death blows for this movie were having so much of it set on Earth and jumping straight to Parallax
Anybody else here think it would be interesting to read a Superman story where he fucks up majorly in a very public way in his reporting job as Clark Kent, and is dealing with insecurity as a result? Something that really shakes his confidence in his non-costume life, that he has to contend with.
Maybe the resolution starts when, as Superman, he sees someone else struggling with confidence, and when he's trying to give them advice, he realizes it's good advice for him too.

Sure I want to see a story about Superman worried about his shitty job at the newspaper, I mean that's why I read Superman comics in the first place.
>>88019507
>Sure I want to see a story about Superman worried about his shitty job at the newspaper
Daily Planet shenanigans are fun
>>88019507
I read Superman comics because I like the character of Superman. Clark Kent is part of that character.
ITT: Characters only you like
But I like Optimus Prime...
>>88018901
What did you mean by this?
>>88018890
Well someone likes him, they've revived him twice now.
When are we going to admit Hank was the real villain?
>Blew up Mega-Lo Mart, killing his niece's fiancee
>Blew up the car sales lot even though he'd gotten a special price for years
>Willingly destroyed a dozen homes and businesses by flooding through opening the gates to the dam
>Mugged a man for his wallet
>Forced his only son to live in a dog house
>Stole Boomhauer's prized muscle car and drove it into the bottom of a ravine
>Told his wife to go to hell
Really makes you think
>>88018670
Hank be dank!
>>88018670
>>Stole Boomhauer's prized muscle car and drove it into the bottom of a ravine
Literally the only thing he did wrong.
