DEAR NEPTUNE he's old!

*Muffled scream playing in the distance*
>Is incredibly well-read and knowledgeable about literary history and religion
>Believes in the Great Pumpkin
Intelligence =/= Wisdom
>>88064567
And this surprises you how?
He's a kid, dude. It's the same trope that Calvin & Hobbes and classic season Simpsons always did.
>child character talks like some philosopher/angsty liberal arts major in one scene
>next scene he believes in Santa Claus or is fighting with his siblings
How fucking based was The New Batman Adventures

Batman I liked. Scarecrow was a vast improvement. I liked the new outfit on Tim. But yeah, the rest was pretty bad.
POORBUCKS is Airing right now anybody recording it?
>>88063801
Nope, it's shit.
>>88064120
It is great
>>88064142
But it's not.
>the next 1000 years are so boring that the things people mention/reference the most in the year 3000 are events and pop culture from the 20th century
Really makes you think
Fry actually died in that cryochamber because you can't flash freeze complex mammals and expect them to be okay
>>88063604
Maybe it's hip and cool to do it.
Everything after 2000 is rehashed nostalgia anyway.
Has Marvel completely disavowed her existence / retconnected her out of the MU post-Secret Wars?
What will Hopefags do? It's been enough suffering.
Hopefully
Bunn says he's using her in IvX's Deadpool stuff.
>>88063493
wait, after causing a massive event on the x men, that took place in dozens of comics, and caused the death of some characters, they just forgot about her?
Who else here is a Hawkeye fag? Lets circlejerk over the best Avenger.

>Not loving Hawkeyes of every shape and size
This movie is really good...I know /co/ opinions are split, but now that the dust has settled...your thoughts? For some reason I really love Ralph as a character, whether or not the movie is a 10/10 he's a Disney hero who never fully got the happy ending, never fully got what he wanted, and yet learned to be satisfied
I didn't see the twist at all, maybe because I was watching with friends and we talked over some scenes
For that reason the movie impressed me
>>88063223
I was surprised when the villain was as disturbing as he was. Not like "shit your pants scary"but that bit where he's flickering betweenTurbo and King Candywas kind of unnerving.
>>88063223
One of Disney's best films and it deserves it's sequel. Impressive twist, great story, fun visuals, lovable characters, good character development, etc. It felt like a great film, it was genuine. It's my favorite animated film. Can't wait for the sequel.
Who is the most depressing character in cartoons?
>>88063132
>>88063221
>does it for free
my god, how hasn't this character killed himself yet
Take your pick
Okay, can someone explain this Superman's backstory? Im trying to get into rebirth, what universe is he from, and how did he end up in new 52 supes' universe?
Bump
Which comics do I have to read in order to catch up?
>>88062764
The New 52 (Post-Flashpoint) universe is the same Pre-Flashpoint one but with 10 years worth of moments stolen by Doctor Manhattan of Watchmen.
Both Clark and Lois from the Pre-Flashpoint universe were taken away from the timeline by Brainiac before the changes so they weren't affected by them. While they were captured Superman had his powers negated so they conceived a son, which was an impossibility before. Then they were released and tried to return to their world, only to find out that it was gone, so they chose to go to the New 52 (Post-Flashpoint universe.
But of course, taking into account what I said in the first paragraph, they did came back to their universe, it's only that it has been modified and so they just don't know yet. And neither does anybody else.
That leaves the question: Who were the New 52 Superman and Lois? It's an ongoing mystery.
>>88062904
In this order:
Convergence: Superman
Superman: Lois and Clark
Last Days of Superman crossover
DC Universe Rebirth Special
Superman: Rebirth #1
Current Superman ongoing (#1-11 + Annual that came out today)
ITT: We try to make broken characters even more broken.
>flash is now able to fly
>they remember those bullshit powers like super-ventriloquism and super-knitting
I don't know about the new 52 but he was able to run in space, that's basically flying.
>The Main Man now has hemophilia and bleeds significantly more from even the smallest wounds.
>His Motorcycle gains his regenerative powers, including being able to reform into multiple clones of itself from several broken sections.
I hope he can be salvaged.
>>88062417
IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!
>>88062417
We'll see him again before the season ends, right?
>>88062520
Yeah. But it's not looking good for him.
ITT: I want to hear from older comic readers on what they thought of this when it came out. Was it enough to just have a Batman movie? Being born in 89', obviously I have nostalgia goggles, but I certainly recognize the lapses in characterization. Let me hear it
It's been 27 years and I will never not be mad at that chest emblem.
This movie just ruled , and rules, period. Fuck the notion that kids can't handle intense or "scary" scenes that the MCU seems to go by, this movie was a childhood favorite of mine and I watched it all the time with my uncles, cousins, dad, etc
>>88062714
I never really got why they changed it for this film and then changed it back for Returns.
Is Hydra War a /co/ meme or is it really a thing that's happening?
>>88061943
Wasn't there a scan of a magazine confirming that at the very least the Hydra Cap storyline is becoming an event? Can someone post it?
It's real and it's the next event.
Sam Cap, HYDRA Cap, Uncanny Avengers & Thunderbolts as the main books.
>>88061968
what about Gwenpool?!
>still thinking The Good Dinosaur was a bad Pixar movie
It was better than Inside Out.
I never got how Inside Out was so praised. I didn't dislike it but it was kind of came and went for me. It had zero impact.
Good Dinosaur is more vivid in my memory
i skipped it because that dinosaur looks just.. eugh.
inside out was a dreamworks tier movie.
the good dinosaur was an abortion. It was never fully allowed to come to term.
