Description of the SDCC footage for earlier this year.

>Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation" plays over a series of yearbook pictures of Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff and Bruce Banner, among others. "EVERY STORY HAS A BEGINNING" appears onscreen.

>Peter Parker (Tom Holland) arrives late for school and notices a banner for the Homecoming Dance. At math class, he's watching footage of himself fighting Giant-Man. The teacher asks a question which Flash Thompson (Tony Revolori) eagerly answers, but gets wrong. The teacher turns to Peter, who answer it correctly despite not paying attention. Flash sulks, angry.

>At women studies class, Peter and Ned Leeds are checking out their female classmates. Peter notes they have to stop before it gets creepy, and one of them tells them it's "too late" while passing by.

>At chemistry class, Peter is using school supplies to synthetize his web fluid while the other students are working on their assignments, and tries to hide it from a nearby student.

>At gym class, Peter is doing push-ups while eavesdropping on some girls playing "F, Marry, Girl" with superheroes. One of them, Michelle (Zendaya Coleman), says she thinks Spider-Man is hot as Peter eagerly listens.

>At webdesign class, Peter gets a text and hurries out of the classroom. Michelle asks "Where are you always disappearing to, Parker? What are you hiding?", followed by a series of flashes of Spider-Man running up cars, climbing walls and fighting muggers. Peter tries to come up with an answers, but Michelle deadpans "Just kidding, I don't care".

Non-stop fart jokes to open the show and its two new characters are voiced by annoying e-celebs from YouTube. The episode is just bad.

I give them credit for trying to come up with a way to have a snow episode in Africa, but I didn't like it at all.

B-but the second voices were the best, I was okay with the first voice change because they sounded appropiate but this? This new Darwin sounds nothing like the other two, new Gumball sounds okay but he doesn't have that sassy voice like the second one.

Let's start things off with an interview from the creators, Maryse Dubuc and Marc Delafontaine (Delaf and Dubuc are their pennames). Yes, this interview was originally a page in Spirou magazine that was entirely in French. This is the reason why it took me so much longer than I thought to get this storytime going today, since I not only had to recover my old fonts and resources, but I got the insane idea that you guys would want to read this in "magazine" format. I hope it was worth the work insofar as you enjoy it.

I'd like to say first off that you NEED to read this interview and temper your expectations for what's about to come. What follows will NOT be The Bellybuttons: Book 8. I know people on /co/ love the dramatic twists the story has taken (I'm one of them!) and deride the old gag-based format of the original comics, so some will be disappointed that this new spin-off book coming out will be almost entirely the latter and none of the former. This interview will explain what's going on with that.

Apologies in advance if there are typos or formatting errors, I tried to look things over but I didn't want to wait any longer to post this.
