Where should I start with Marvel?
I hear current Marvel is shit and I hate Stan Lee's writing style.
>>88624139
Just stick to DC. That's where the masterworks are. I'd highly recommend the current Superman run which is arguably one of the greatest cape comics ever made.
Here's my go-to Marvel recommendation list (leaving out the Stan Lee written stuff since you don't like his writing style):
>Marvels & Marvels: Eye of the Camera
>Earth-X
>Shooter's Marvel Superheroes: Secret Wars
>Hickman's Fantastic Four
>Bendis' Ultimate Spider-man
>Miller's Daredevil
>Simonson's Thor
>Busiek's Avengers
>Gruenwald's Squadron Supreme
>Morrison's New X-men
>Ellis' Moon Knight
>Iron man: Extremis
>Kelly's Deadpool
>Ennis' Punisher MAX
>Starlin's Warlock/Thanos Quest/Infinity Gauntlet
>Annihilation + all the tie-ins
>Steranko's Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD
>Fraction's Immortal Iron Fist
>Spencer's Superior Foes of Spider-man
>Thunderbolts (all of it except Fightbolts and Frankbolts)
>Death of Captain Marvel
>Fraction's Hawkeye
>Millar's Ultimates 1 & 2
>Peter David's Incredible Hulk (or at least Future Imperfect since his run on Hulk is extremely long with some ups and downs, but FI is a pretty self-contained story within it and one of the highest points)
>X-Statix
>Remender's Uncanny X-force
>Silver Surfer: Requiem
>Bendis' Alias
>Ellis' NEXTWAVE
>Gillen's Journey into Mystery
>The Original Writer's Miracleman
>Moore's Captain Britain
>Kirby's The Eternals
>Lee/Jenkins' Inhumans
>Brubaker's Captain America
>BKV's Runaways
>Gerber's Howard the Duck
There ya' go. That'll get you a nice cross-section of most Marvel franchises. Then the ones you liked the most, you can dig deeper into those particular characters' other great runs/stories.

Natural progression after the abortion that was Mystery Inc
>Go in expecting to hate it
>Laugh

so, do kids even like this show?
I want to go on adventure with Brambe and Prohias
Nah. I work as a school teacher for fifth graders, and most kids don't even really watch TV anymore, it's all vidya and youtube.
Watching cartoons past, like, nine years old is seen as something to be embarrassed about because cartoons aren't cool or edgy or for teens. Kids love shit for teens, more of them are into anime. It's why stuff like family guy actually has a target audience of children, and why it's still on the air, south park too. There's actually a pretty big audience of kids who want to be treated like adults.
>>88622854
>kids who want to be treated like adults but without any adult responsibilities
Sounds like half of 4chan.Fucking NEETs.
Why are female characters in modern cartoons so sexually arousing? Is this intentional?

You should have posted one then.

How many threads of this do we need?

They aren't, you're just dumb and horny.
This is actually the best Superman design in years.
> make superman really handsome

How it is not having friends?
Did anyone have it worse then this guy?

90's Cartoon Morph is the only incarnation of the character that got to live, though.
>616 Morph (Changeling) died off-panel and never came back
>AoA Morph died with that universe
>Exiles Morph also ded
So that's the LUCKY one, anon.
>>88622026
Was Morph Asian?
>>88623132
616 came back in a She-Hulk comic but decided to remain dead after helping her defeat his ressurector.
Why was Dale considered a loser again?
He was the only member of the main 4 to have actual friends (Octavio, the gun club). Even hank barely had any friends outside of work.
He had a job that he loved and a hot wife. Who cares if he wasn't Josephs biological father? There were multiple episodes where Dale out-cucked john redcorn by raising his son.
>out-cucked john redcorn by raising his son
and doing a better job of it, and being oblivious to the fact.
The short answer is that Dale is still a loser because it's a sitcom and they're all flawed characters. Hank is still an uptight weirdo who's wrong at least as often as he's right, Boomhauer is portrayed as a clueless creep as often as he is a charming ladies man, and Bill is shown more than once to ultimately have a bigger heart than everyone else on Rainey Street.
Remember the time Dale refrigerated his whole house?
>>88621965
Why aren't Hank Bill and Boomhauer considered "actual friends"?
They've all been friends since childhood.
Situation
>Wolverine saves you from kidnappers
>his rescue was extremely bloody a lot of snikt'ing
>Brings you to the X-Mansion to keep you safe
>brings you to the kitchen
>uses his claws to make you a sandwich
do you eat it?
>>88621827
You bet your ass I do. Wolverine doesn't just make sandwiches for anybody.
>>88621827
Those things are stored inside his body anyway, you would get mutant-germs
>>88621827
I don't want AIDS but I'm sure he cleans after himself.
What makes a certain comic character an A-lister, B-lister, C-lister, D-lister, etc.?
>>88621811
The ability to make someone pick up a comic. Ultra Humanite was the first supervillain ever and no one cares about him because he's kinda dull.
Amount of memorable stories, appearances in comics, merch, movies, cartoons and all that jazz.
>>88621811
I guess it depends on popularity and how much they are known.
Batman for example is A-lister because he's extermly populer to comic readers and non readers.
