Is HIM the only redeemable element in this reboot?
I wouldn't know because their scheduling is shit so I only watch shows I care about.
Yeah, I don't hatewatch shows, so I have no idea.
Let me guess, the episode in the OP is ANOTHER Buttercup episode?
Lets talk about Jeff:
He's been in the series since the first episode oddly enough
He's been married to Haley since the 100th episode meaning they've been married for over 100 episodes (though he was lost in space for like 43 of them)
He's been split in half like 3 times
He's a staple in the Smith family, but is he a good character? Is he good for Haley
How does /co/ feel about this character?
Still better than Steve.
>>88638180
Hes a cool dude with a good heart
>>88638190
I mean c'mon that's not necessarily fair.
Did any of you watch sing?
I just saw tonight and I thought it was pretty good but it could get corny at times.
keep in mind that this is coming that doesn't really watch movies about the theater or musicians so it could all be really derivative and I wouldn't notice it.

Just saw it as well and can say i really enjoyed it. The characters were a bit cliché as was the plot but i still liked them, especially that asshole mouse. Was actually surprised he had genuine talent and wasn't cheating somehow. Ash was probably the most cliché, but hey im a sucker for rocker chicks. Rosita though is definitely my favorite, and new fetish.
I don't know how to feel about Johnny though, his arc definitely suffered the most from an overly packed run time.
Looks pretty generic. I'd guess it goes somewhat like this:
>Start Musical contest because he's in dire straits
>All the contestants are also in dire straits
>Competition heats up, but in the end all contestants and managers grow to like one another
>In the end, they all get together and become a successful group of musicians together
Alternatively
>One does win, manager becomes famous
>All other contestants become famous in their own ways, through exposure
>All remain Friends
Regardless
>Ends on a big musical

Wait wait wait, so this movie has a protagonist who's main characteristic is her superior whiteness. And if that isn't enough, there's SEVEN male leads??
Holy shit, Disney is finished!
She also enjoys the taste of Mayo and Wonder Bread

Hey /co/ I'm 18 year old and I get so annoyed when people call animation for children. Are they right and I still try to calm down?
>>88637612
why wont you prove them otherwise?
>>88637612
>Are they right
In the United States at least, animation is definitely seen as stuff for children since that's whom the target audience is for majority of the shows there.
>>88637612
They aren't wrong.
Business has shaped animation to the capacity that they only care about toy sales to children. Ratings or sponsors can't support a cartoon series. Its a closed system. There are cracks and rebels here and there but its going to be years until we actually get really animated series geared toward everyone to adult just because of this stigma of "children's cartoons".

Whatever happened to this powergirl?
Just got done reading Alan Moore's Swamp Thing and was looking for something to read. I have tried Hellblazer and didn't like Delano. Didn't know if there was a better starting point. Also What were your favorite Alan Moore Swamp Thing moments.
>>88636898
>was looking for something to read
Keep reading the Rick Veitch run on Swamp Thing. It's real good, it just doesn't get a conclusion because he butted heads with the President of DC when they revoked approval for a story he wanted to tell
read steve gerber's man-thing. it's also very good.
i've never read a swamp thing comic, except the superman team up issue.
>>88636898
why does he have a butt
Why didn't Snyder make super man fun like Singer did? Super man returns is amazing
I love Routh as superman
It's not realistic
>>88636612
people used to hate Superman Returns until Man of Steel
I probably won't be able to storytime the day of or tommorow so I'll just go ahead with it now.
Enjoy

I couldn't care less after hearing yet another example of adults trying and failing to sound like kids
that's so fucking lazy, there is no excuse for it. none.
