Is this the point a lot of people turned on this show?
I officially gave up on the show after that bird is the word episode. The first half is him doing nothing but singing the song over again, to the point where he ends the first half by literally going up to the camera and screaming it at the audience as if it's supposed to make an already unfunny joke even more hilarious. It didn't. And unfortunately dumbasses in real life disagreed since I heard it everywhere after. Then the second half goes into some unrelated plot where Jesus becomes a celebrity in real life and the ego goes to his head ( which strangely isn't out of his character if you read the story about the woman washing his feet with oils from the bible) and then there's tons of cheap All religions are stupid jokes all over the place so Seth can feel good about himself. Officially dropped the show after that and never looked back. All the subtlety and wit from season 1-3 was gone and replaced by screaming and yelling

>bawww I'm oppressed
This is the point where the show devolved into pretentious liberal garbage.
>>88711045
>ego goes to his head which strangely isn't out of his character
You don't even know the full story. She anointed Him in preparation for his crucifixion, which He knew was going to happen but chose to go through anyway. Do you think any of these self-entitled Hollywood snobs, or any pretentious SJW on the left, would submit to such a sacrifice?
You're both brainless meathead socialists and bigots. Your kind is spewing out "christfag" and "bible thumping idiot" and then selfishly crying "waaahhh I'm offended."
>inb4 waaahh I'm not a liberal
You're a lying delusional idiot and should be punched in the head to make up for all the beatings your politically correct family should have given you but didn't.

he could easily be our irl red skull right there, folks.

>just published a series where the hero used profiling to "save millions" and where another hero killed an unarmed man and is now the world's most popular hero
>"progressive agenda"
Is the reboot of the Powerpuff Girls as good as the reboot of MLP?
>>88736217
It's like the opposite of the MLP reboot
They took a funny, action-packed show that was written by people who thought kids could handle adult themes, and made it a brainless, inoffensive, and garish slice-of-life show about 3 little girls.
>>88736428
So do they still fight monsters or what?
>>88736217
The MLP reboot reinvigorated the franchise, opening up new demographics and marketing possibilities. The PPG reboot pissed on the grave of a dead but honored franchise.
Do you ever listen to the audio commentary of your cartoons? I think they are pretty good additions if you want to know more about how and what thoughts were put into the cartoon when made
I don't re-watch cartoons.
I would but cartoons rarely have commentary for their dvds/blu rays.
>>88735907
I did with the earlier seasons of The Simpsons and the big knights. But there is so much poorly done commentaries for cartoons due to the creators inability in talking for 24mins*26

>“For years, Marvel Comics and Hip-Hop culture have been engaged in an ongoing dialog,” says Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso. “Beginning this October, we will shine a spotlight on the seamless relationship between those two unique forces in when we unveil the first of more than fifty variant covers, each of which pays tribute to an iconic album cover from the past 30 years that shaped pop-culture over the past three decades.”
So now that the dust has settled, can we all agree that Marvel's Hip-Hop Cover initiative has been one of the most interesting and successful artistic movements in modern comics?
>>88735711
Not really. I've never even seen these covers at the store. Besides, whatever artistic merit the covers bring comes from the original designer or the album sleeve, not the guy who was paid to rip off - I mean, uh, pay homage to, the album using a Marvel character.
>>88735711
I would have agreed were it not for the fact that they're all insane incentive covers so no one but crazy collectors willing to drop hundreds of bucks on them will ever get them.
I'm waiting for the nice HC collection of all of them though. Might make a cool coffee table book.
>>88735863
One already came out, they didn't do anything interesting for it though, its just a standard hardcover
Where did it all go so wrong?
>>88735498
Something went wrong enough that when Marvel Now 2 was announced, most of CBR (the site filled with Marvel shills) had a negative reaction to it.
>>88735498
we wanted Marvel Rebirth and they double downed in their current direction, even blatant nostalgia pandering like X-Men Resurrection is plagued with the creative decisions that have made last two years unbearable
>>88735498
They spent money on shills to shitpost Rebirth instead of editors to keep Bendis in check.
so you're telling me spider-man talks all this shit and nobody connects his voice to peter parker

Who?
Why would Kingpin know the voice of some random 16 year old from Queens?

Wally confirmed for being a dumbass and running Savitar into the speedforce after Savitar kills Joe.

They should rename the show "Everybody Hates Barry" already.

What are the essential Batman/Wonder Woman comics/runs? Not the two together - I just didn't want to make two threads - but the comics that have created such iconic presences for both characters as individuals. Also, just good as fuck comics starring these two in any capacity (again, not necessarily together in the same comic).
The Hiketeia and maybe Kelly's JLA
