December 31st will be a rerun marathon of DBZ Kai.

Dragonball Super will premiere at 8pm starting January 7th. That new weekly episode will then rerun the same night on Toonami at 11:30pm. Toonami expands 30 minutes to accommodate this.

DBZ Kai Buu saga will premiere at midnight starting January 7th.

Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 will replace IBO January 7th at 1am. This means without some unexpected schedule change, Toonami will not see anything new until June at the earliest.

GiTS SAC will replace OPM on February 4th. Just what we need, another rerun that has aired a million times.

A new season of Samurai Jack is being made for Adult Swim Toonami. 10 episodes in length, TV14 minimum, set to premier 2017.

Adult Swim is funding two new 6 episode seasons of FLCL. Expected release is late 2017/early 2018.

A marathon of the most boring part of Jojo on Christmas pulled terrible ratings, what a shocker. Personally I expected lower. Only 2 episodes made the top 100 chart, a new record low for Toonami. That short did ok, the first time at least.

We'll never know for certain.

We do know he had control issues, seemed to deeply enjoy torturing his little brother, and was outraged incredibly when called out on his abuse.

I would wager there's a good chance Eddy's brother was physically if not emotionally abused for quite some time. His young appearance and living situation at his workplace suggests that he moved out of his parent's house as soon as possible. Considering how much stuff Eddy's brother left behind in his wake for Eddy to claim the evidence seems to back up my theory.

If abuse genuinely occurred the older brother's more violent, rebellious tendencies may suggest that he fought back against his father or mother. Eddy's preference for running away and/or cowering in the face of danger is another clue which could mean abuse at home. Potentially Eddy was protected by his older brother.

What doesn't make sense is the older brother's abuse for Eddy instantly upon seeing his younger brother. I seem to recall Eddy mentioning his older brother not responding to him or something similar.

Maybe their parents remarried and Eddy was left in a safer, loving household surrounded by friends making the older brother filled with jealousy.

Maybe the older brother began hating Eddy due to Eddy's simpering cowardly nature, having left Eddy behind on purpose to feel the brunt of their abuser's rage.

Perhaps dealing with his job, life, and inner rage has caused him to become his abuser.

He was the good guy, Eddy stole his comb and weed one too many times, so he locked up his room before leaving for college. It was when his mom called him almost towards the end of summer that Eddy has broken in did he finally have enough. Upcoming exams didn't help to relieve his stress and he needed to finish those before confronting his little brother.

Next thing he knows, some hookers gang rape him. The end.

I mean, I guess I'm not even angry anymore. I'm just sad that they keep treating their fans like shit and disposable.

Some of you probably had this feeling earlier, but Marvel feels to me now more than ever like a company trying to make money of nerds at any cost, and not writers and artists pouring their heart & soul to make a good comic.

I'm aware businesses are out there to make money, but man, it never felt so hollow as it does now.

Is this what if felt like during the 90s? I didn't really read comics back then.

You are correct. Businesses are out there to make money. So, if you want something to change, stop giving them money. Nothing changes until it costs people money. If people stopped buying comics, and no money was coming in, the comics would change back within two months. Of course, if you were to stop buying comics, you should tell them what your reasons are.

Fucked up too since I was a huge fucking fan and have basically read every single issue of every main Spidey comic that was released since Amazing Fantasy #15.

Marvel dosen't need you, or me, or the so-called SJWs. We can all fuck off they got movie money and Star Wars and theme parks an shit. What Marvel needs is kids. Fuck, the entire industry needs kids. Without kids comics stop, plain and simple. Comics are a generational industry, new blood is needed every 20 or so years to turn this gen of readers into the next gen of creators. Without new readers, kids that is, comics readers are just aging old men jerking each other off into polybags of worthless comics no one will ever buy or care about.

Why does Webby and Mrs. Beakley look so smug?
Why is the entire art direction so horrid with its thin lines, box heads, off-putting pastel colors and disgusting floaty nothingness to it?

The use of motion lines in OP's image is disastrous, it makes the car and passengers look like it's vibrating in midair. You don't even realize it's meant to be falling out of the plane at first since it might as well be jumping a dune in the desert.

And of course there's the meme grappling hook.
What a pile of trash honestly.

The lines look fine to me. Also:

That's not too bad. I could see it being a thing in most 2017-2018 cartoons(like Trump jokes), but it's nothing to trip about ~~as of now. Give it some time, it'll get worse~~.
