we all stand up for what we believe in, and we all believe different things. In any given disagreement, a maximum of one party can be right, and even that's not very common. standing up for incorrect beliefs intrinsically harms everyone. on the other hand, remove the right to stand up for your beliefs, and you almost certainly just eliminated the rare chance of being right from the equation entirely.

Rhodey is of course working with the Air Force, fights AIM who is in the process of creating Super-Adaptoid. He comes to terms with his legs maybe not ever recovering, but maybe starts to rely on and enjoy his time in the armor (which helps him walk) too much. Big final battle has Rhodey and the Air Force against an AIM base. Idk. I don't have a story.

There were several problems, I'll just list some. I'm not going to talk about the pandering because altough it was irritating it wasn't nearly the biggest problem and there was some feminist and environmentalist pandery episodes in the first series too.
