I loved Sandman and saw that Lucifer got his own series. Does it hold up? Will I be disappointed after reading Gaiman?
>>88941596
>Does it hold up?
The original series yes.
The new one that exists purely because of the show, no.
>>88941596
It's my favorite comic series ever made. Absolutely a must-read in my book.
Just avoid the dogshit 2016 ongoing.
>>88941596
I reread this every couple of years. It's fantastic and it doesn't fucking drag on like sandman does in some issues
You ever notice how nowadays, cartoons tend to shy away from showing bare butts in cartoons, except for TV-14 and upward cartoons? It used to be that "mooning" scenes had the characters pull down their pants and underwear, but nowadays, the butt isn't shown at all or the character still has their underwear on. Case in point, the Regular Show episode "Ugly Moons".
I personally prefer "mooning" scenes with the underwear still on because, well, underwear is hilarious XD
What are your thoughts, any other memorable scenes like this from cartoons and comics?
From the "Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" ep "Dumb Luck".
"Jimmy Two-Shoes", episode "The Product Tester"
Didn't Fry bare-butt moon Mom in one episode?
>it's a "character falls in love with a new character who gets completely derailed in the last five minutes of the episode" episode
>>88941585
Any examples?
>>88941687
Danny Phantom
Grim Advenutures
6Teen
>it's a "boys vs girls episode"
>they act like complete assholes to each other for that one episode.
>every other episode they get along just fine.
Would it be so much to ask for a "boys ally with girls to fight some special snowflake gender" episode?
Has there been a comic with sci-fi concepts in them but based on theoretical science, like string theories? like normal sci-fi but with plausible theories instead of pseudoscience? I'd like to see Mr. Fantastic deal with String Theory or something. crazy sci/fi comics thread??
that would require a comic book writer to have even a basic understanding of theoretical physics

Anon, "most" comic hook writers make shit up about things they don't understand.
Is anybody watching this?
>>88941213
started the first episode now. Will report back, is this new?
>>88941288
I think it was just added today.

Anything similar to the tone/feel of this movie? I loved it and I haven't been able to find anything I liked as much.
World of Tomorrow, also by Don Hertzfeldt.
I also can't think of anyone else that is doing the sorta stuff Hertzfeldt does.
Also, is it just me, or does that man have the most calming voice? I could listen to him read the phone book.
>>88940978
>tfw have never been able to find a torrent of this movie
Is it really as good as everyone says it is?
If the Simpsons didn't exist, what do you guys think would be the next equivalent to it?
I want to say Duckman but that came out FAR to late and the reason it was so much more risque is because The Simpson helped break the grounds of television to start with.
Seinfeld, or is that already to big? The Critic maybe?
>>88940544
Family guy, only it was never good.
>>88940654
It was fantastic up until it's first cancellation, then went down hill
Can they turn it around quickly like DC? Or is there simply too much hubris at Marvel for that to happen?
>>88940181
What's the point in buying a floppy for the digi copy if you just wanted the digi copy?
>>88940221
Collecting the physical copy, and having the digital to read, as not to damage the actual comic? Just a guess though.
>>88940181
I don't get it
Kisscartoon ruined forever

Kisscartoon apologizes that you dislike this show as well as for the fact that it happens to be the most watched one on the site.
Have a nice day.

Watchcartoonsonline > Kisscartoon
Kisscartoon has always been shit.
What was his endgame?
Maintain the status quo, since he already has everything.
>Onceler fucks up everything
>O'Hare builds a company in the environment provided for him and thrives
>O'Hare is somehow the villain for wanting to maintain the economic ecosystem in which he lives

how?
What is his problem?
>>88938764
He was crowned king of the obnoxious hipsters and feels the need to remind everyone.
>>88938764
He loves the stories and doesn't like to see them shat on by moneygrubbing idiots.
Purity of purpose and ferocious devotion to artistic ideals.
Not really a problem imo.
What was the strangest fanfic based on a /co/ property you guys ever read?
