The Thunderbolts team turns 20 today.
>>89032468
It's amusing because their 20th Anniversary issue comes out next month. Probably because Marvel considers their debut the first issue of their ongoing series, not their actual debut in Incredible Hulk of all places.
>>89032605
I guess they are counting the 20th anniversary of the title not of the team
>>89032468
Happy birthday, Thunderbolts!

What will happen /co/.
Thor will save Asgard from destruction at the hands of Hela but first he will battle the Incredible Hulk in gladiatorial combat.
>>89032102
i don't know how they tie dr. strange in all of this.
>>89032102
So we know Grandmaster and Valkyrie are likely to appear in the gladiator part and Hela and Skurge are main villains (Skurge "working" for Hela).
Will there be a Soul Stone reveal with the Grandmaster?
Is Heimdall the Soul Stone?
Is Surtur appearring?
What about Strange. Will he come fight in Asgard with his besties Hulk and Thor?
Will Hela be defeated or will she be in IW?

Why is Carol in Cancer hair mode part of this shit again?
Seems like a waste of space
>>89030832
>Cancer hair
People with cancer are bald dude.
Also because Marvel is pushing Carol and she has a long history of space shit. Obviously. The real wast of space is America.
>>89030832
but short hair takes up less space

What would a cartoon designed by H.R giger look like?
It won't ever look like anything because he's dead and nobody on Earth can draw spooky baby faces and cyborg vaginas as well as he did.
It wouldn't really work. He drew random shit and threw sex organs on everything. Some of it was creepy but the vast majority of it sucked. I don't see him being able contribute enough decent designs for a whole cartoon.
>>89031906
>but the vast majority of it sucked.
Fucking tastless faggot
It's happening boys

well certainly wasn't expecting a Crisis On Infinite Earths pastiche cover
I heard tell that Bart always wore a blue shirt on official Simpsons merch to stop Chinese bootleggers. But I don't get how that was supposed to work.
>>89030644
the color blue is banned in china
It was mostly a deception thing. Fox were gambling that bootleggers wouldn't know that official merch was required to give him a blue shirt, thus if you saw any thing where he has an orange shirt, you'd know it was fake.
>>89030676
is that a smog joke
>gender swap the cast

Sounds better already.
What's the last we've heard about on this?
>it's 2017
>no new Gaiman issues
>no OHC of the Moore run
>not even fucking regular paperbacks of the Moore run
I was so hype for this when they announced it over two years ago. But then they decided to release it issue by issue for like $5 a piece, and they haven't released collected editions in either of the formats I'd prefer.
are those scans that were the best still not available?

What are you talking about?
FUCK YOU I FORGOT ABOUT THIS
WHERES MY HOMO MIRACLEMAN FUUUUU
When does this show start getting interesting?
I was hesitant to watch it because of the human characters' generic designs, but buckled due to the praise it received.
I've gotten to episode 8 and so far
>protag is beyond bland
>sidekick is slightly less bland but not funny enough to make up for it
>troll characters alright but nothing special
>story is paint by numbers
What about this show is so captivating? People don't just like it, they're engrossed in the story as if there's any mystery what'll happen next. The only unique thing I can find about it is the animation, which seems to have the quality of an animated movie done by a lesser known studio.
I want to like this show. At what point does it get better?
>>89030205
Just finished watching it. I'd give it a 6/10 if I had to:
>Pretty standard "Hero's Journey" story--not great or revolutionary, but no major missteps either
>Voice acting was solid, though not outstanding. Characters are well-defined enough that they are reconizable, though slightly stereotypical
>Plotting is fairly well-paced, with important plot points given time to sink-in, and plot threads are introduced and paid off.
>Story arcs are defined and clear, with enough threads laid to keep interest across them
Good, though not great. Kept my attention, even if the first 3 or 4 episodes were a little bit of a slough. Don't know if I'm going to watch the next season, but it was watchable enough this season
>>89030205
I'd say when Angor Rot gets introduced, it's good but don't except it to be amazing.
>>89030205
the second half of the season is less predictable, but I'd say the overall quality remains the same. I enjoyed it tough. nothing spectacular, but worth watching for me at least.
Does anyone know if it will continue?
