The set visit embargo has been lifted and new details on the plot have been disclosed.
>Three months after saving Xandar, the Guardians of the Galaxy are working as heroes for hire. They've become famous across the galaxy but still struggle to work together.
>They are employed by the Sovereign People to prevent an interdimensional monster, the Abellisk, from consuming ther planet's power source.
>The Sovereign People are genetically engineered "perfect" beings obsessed with order and honor. They repay the Guardians by capturing Nebula so the Guardians can turn her over to the Nova Corps to answer for her crimes.
>Rocket feels ripped off and steals some power batteries before leaving, offending Ayesha, leader of the Soveregn People. She hires the Ravagers to capture the Guardians and retrieve the batteries in order to restore their honor.
>Yondu declines the job in order to protect Star-Lord. The Ravagers are already upset that Yondu allowed Star-Lord to deliver the Power Stone to the Nova Corps and mutiny against him. Warmonger Taserface takes command and accepts Ayesha's offer.
>The Guardians are split early on, with Rocket and Baby Groot being captured by the Ravagers and locked up with Yondu while Star-Lord, Gamora and Drax are rescued by Star-Lord's father, Ego.
>Ego is an ancient cosmic being and is accompanied by his naive attendant and surrogate daughter, Mantis. He had been searching for Star-Lord since Yondu failed to deliver him as a child and managed to track him down after learning about the Guardians and how their leader was a Terran who survived holding an Infinity Stone. Star-Lord then becomes divided between the Guardians and Ego.
>The movie's dramatic arc centers on whether the Guardians will stay together or if they're simply too different to function as a team.
>Ayesha and Taserface are reportedly the main villains.
>There was originally another member of the team who was written out as production went on but will probably appear further down the line.

Is every piece of Indiana Jones media canon?
>>89712704
Prolly not, what with fanfiction being a thing and all.
Crystal Skull isn't even canon
>>89712704
Well, Indiana jones and batman props appear on warner studios the last looney Tunes movies, so is canon that Indiana Jones is just a movie and Bug's Bunny exists
Western comic, don't get your knickers in a bunch
Perfect.

What were they thinking?
They did it to piss YOU off specifically.
I thought them having a fling was believable enough.
>>89713544
Did you like this episode?
What is the consensus on this movie?
>>89712064
That one song was good.
>>89712064
Fuckin love this movie. Extremely is pretty good too
>>89712064
loved it. the second movie isn't as good but it's still not bad. better than a lot of other Disney movie sequels
Manuelita lived in Pehuajo~
>>89711980
Manuelita a cute.
CUTE!
>>89712021
Oh I know
>>89711980
Really?
Is Zack Snyder secretly a Skrull that infiltrated on Warner to destroy DC from the inside?
>>89711811
Most terrible decisions happen not because of some vast magical conspiracy dedicated to making things worse for nebulous evil reasons, but simply because someone with too much influence had a shitty idea and there was no one around who could tell them no.
>>89712505
Damn, I almost believed on you.
Everybody know that it is a Marvel conspiracie. They are paying critics to give good reviews to Lego Batman just to make Snyder uncomfortable.
Yes, he is.
Do you guys know how he decided to cast Eisenberg as Luthor? Eisenberg's audition was for Jimmy Olsen, but the guy was so awful and weird that Snyder and his wife decided he would be a "fresh" version of Luthor.
Fucking motherfucker fucked my favorite villain.
Forgotten Cartoons thread.

>implying I don't still lust over Rebecca
>>89711688
Every 90s kid know this show. It was an odd bastard but still much better than later Disney shows.
>>89711726
As a kid, I thought she was a pointless character. A wet blanket that just served to ruin everybody's fun. Now, I see that she was actually a solid character. And that I would totally fuck her as well.
>went to the movies to watch this
>feel kinda embarassed because I am an adult man going to watch this
>was with my head full of stress because if personal reasons
>see 20 minutes of the movie and realize it is shit
>should have watched Moana instead
Does this shit even get any better or is it really just a movie for little girls? Because the humour is terrible and the animation is rushed and hard. I usually don't have a problem with watching movies like that, I loved frozen, for example.
Should I have given it more chance?
There's no shame in it being made for a particular audience but there's no shame in not liking it either.
Admittedly, I would've just checked it out in case the girl gets a love interest with the older ballerina lady. But that didn't seem likely.
>>89711991
I don't know. WHen I first saw the style of the animation, I thought it looked pretty good, but the movement of the characters is pretty bad and the plot is completely rushed. Also the way people in the movie speak is too childish, i just couldn't take more than 20 minutes. But everyone seems to be speaking of the movie in my country (brazil).
>>89711651
>realize it is shit
The trailer could have told you that...
>Batman villain is a dark mirror of Batman
>Joker
>Bane
>Two Face
>Jason Todd
>Prometheus
>Simon Hurt
>Owlman
>Huntress
>Deadshot
>Wrath
>Hush
>Killer Moth
>Catman
You could make the exact same argument for every supervillian that every hero has.
?????
>Antagonist is the perfect foil for the protagonist
Did he invent the selfie?
>>89710471
>colored thought balloons
>>89710471
No, selfies exist since photography was possible
>>89710471
No, but he did popularize wall-running. That's why it's called Peter Parkour.
I am considering getting cable in my apartment, after some time without it.
Does /co/ recommend it?
>>89710427
TV is only worth having as background noise. The majority of channels just play the same thing over and over again, and most of the channels are garbage.
It really isn't worth it.
>>89710427
not really, pretty much everything on cable that's desirable can be gotten online, legally even.
I'm 28 and haven't had cable since I left my parents'. It's not worth it anon. It's VERY worth if if you're into sports and cant watch them elsewhere.
Not cost effective, but the ease of just turning it on makes it worth it. Not worth it at ALL for tv and movies though anon, not in any way.
>Wildebeest stampede was made in CGI
Wow I never knew this until I watched documentary about making Lion King
I'd imagine it would be hell to animate if they didn't. Similar to how the Hydra in Hercules would've been hell to animate without CG.
>>89710088
That scene did not age well.
>>89712404
It's not so bad depends which scene
