>Gets better animation for Season 2
>Has had more "hit" episodes than "miss"
>takes hilarious jabs at the gaming industry and film industry in two episodes.
>Dat Fucking Chris-Chan episode that took jabs at the fanbase.
>Is still constantly mistreated by Cartoon Network because it's "Not TTG".
It's pretty sad when you think about it. Season 2 was the best thing to happen to this show. Am I really the only one who thinks this?
>>90198122
An old College Buddy seems to be into it, but it's hard for me to get past the stiff animation in season 1.
It's kind of a shame, really, because if Cn treated this right it could probably actually be a pretty big hit.
>>90200031
Didn't most of S1 get like 1 million viewers weekly, despite being on at 6:30 am? If so, then Boom could've been big for the network if they promoted it & gave it a better timeslot.
Tonight we have not one but two new episodes of Clarence starting tonight at 6:30
Clarence for President
>Jeff nominates Clarence for class president
Rock Show
>Chad’s band Dogmon plays a show for the first time in years, giving Clarence and Mary a chance to really rock out.
Oh boy!
starting now
>literally MAGA on jeff's poster
>doing Nightwing before Robin
>Death of Superman and Dark Night Returns in the second film
>Zod in the first Superman film
>Suicide Squad before any of the villians show up in the hero films
>Ares in the first Wonder Woman film
>showing the entire Justice League in BvS
>showing Parademons and the omega symbol before Darkseid ever makes an appearance
>Crisis Flash's warning to Bruce before he ever meets the Flash.
Why does DC and WB keep trying to rush their universe?
I don't even care enough anymore to get angry or disappointed. At this point I just hope for the best and expect the worst.
"Wonder Woman" sounds alright based on the recent spoilers and "Aquaman" has a pretty solid cast.
>>90191142
WB cares more about getting whatever shekels they can get without caring than the almost certain higher volume they would if they gave a fuck.
I would literally not care about any of this if the scripts were good.
But alas, they are not.
How many more films until DC crashes and burns guys?
Today's episode was pretty bland. It was one of those stupid "hero character isn't actually a hero" plots, but its pacing was all wrong the the character in question ended up learning their lesson too suddenly and without much build-up.
On the plus side, there may be two more episodes in season one after all. The next one airs in a month.
Was this show animated in 3D or 2D?
>>90184791
It's flash puppets.
>>90184791
>>90184806
That's putting it bluntly, but yes. Because the computer program does a lot of the heavy lifting for them, the show uses a lot of weird perspective shots that other cartoons seldom use. The characters are often seen from behind, or from above, and while facing different directions. It doesn't always look "right", but it's still neat, considering how often modern cartoons force the characters to be facing the screen.
>It was at this stage in The Lion Guard’s production that things took a slightly different turn. Christian Larocque, animation director at Mercury Filmworks, wanted to find a more fluid way of animating characters in the short amount of time he had available to him. His idea was to “rig” the character in 3D first, which meant creating a digital puppet of each animal character, which the animators could then spin around and see from every angle.
>It was this technique, thought to be the first of its kind, that allowed the team to put the cartoon characters in every conceivable position, whether they were jumping on to rocks or leaping into the air. This allowed them to see how the characters would move in any given situation. “The rig has all the points of articulation; all the joints of the character, the mouth movements, the eye movements,” says Riley. Once the animators had used the 3D rig to work out how each character would look in each position, they could translate that into a 2D model to give the animation that authentic, “handdrawn” look.
>The 3D rigging meant, according to Riley, a lot of work at the “front end of production” – but the result was worth it. “We’ve all been blown away by how successful it’s been,” says Riley. “Everyone loves The Lion King so much, we’ve got to produce a show that tries to approach that level of quality.”
Why was the Archie Sonic comic so bad compared to the Fleetway Sonic comic lads?

Ken Penders.
Why is this fucking show so mean spirited about literally everything?
None of it is making fun of something out of love, theres no respect or even subtlety, its always bitter, cynical hatred of the lowest common denominator level of insults and mockery.
Edgy teen humor?
It used to be lighter but I guess that's their target demographic now.
Because that gets more attention, and keeps the show running forever, than being more less unnecessarily edgy would. That and it's easier to make up bunch of bullshit than write a good show, so they go for shock value stuff so no one notices
>>90176567
It's legit like the only show I'd actually say would be "mean spirited" unironically.
Like fuck, Drawn Together was more crass and offensive than them but at no point did it feel like anyone was really angry. Here it's just, garbage.
>big shocker, ruth is atheist
>>90151776
I thought this was supposed to be a Christian story. Why did Willis invoke Greek mythology by having Joyce tear out her eyes in the last panel?
Also, to nobody's surprise, the password is "unraveling". Here's a panel preview for 30 May 2017.

Uh, guys
what does /co/ think about new 52 cassandra cain?
what's the consensus?
>>90220085
Garbage?
>>90220085
I don't like the name Orphan. Even Black Bat sounds better.
>>90220085
I think its my fault.
I implied Tynion was racist on tumblr for bringing Stephanie Brown back before Cass, and he got mad.
Alright /co/ I'm looking for a copypasta about hakwman's ridiculously convoluted character art explaining his current costume.
Other than that I'd love to get posts or copypastas about your favourite ridiculous storylines.
>>90220044
> Thanagar's champion, Hawkman can talk to birds. He also can't talk to birds. Sometimes, he can't even speak normally at all! Even if he could talk normally, or to birds, there are no birds on Thanagar, because it does not exist. Hawkman was sent here to study Earthly police methods, because Thanagar's own methods suck! That's OK though, because Thanagar still does not exist! Yet it is populated by peaceful barbarians! Who are stupid, and also warlike!
>Like all non-existant Thanagarians, Hawkman has human legs! Which are reincarnated legs! Alien legs! Egyptian legs! Thanagarian legs! Bird legs! God legs! Bird-God legs! This is because he's ... a God! An Earthman! A Thanagarian! An American! An Egyptian! A common human! A reincarnated prince! A hawk! A God! A God-Hawk! A Hawk-God! A God-like Hawk God of Other, Less Godly Hawks!
>In New England, the weather is so prone to change there's an old saying: "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes." To paraphrase this saying: 'If you don't like the current version of Thanagar -- or even its very existence -- wait five minutes."
>>90220044
This one?
>>90221050
How do we fix hawkman /co/?
Personally I think his Egyptian side should be focused on, he works more as a magical character than a sci fi one. Maybe his powers were granted to him by Horus and he fights manifestations of Set in the modern day.
Also make him ethnically Egyptian for diversity points.
Your favorite /co/ character gets their hands on a magical boomerang that reverses their personality when they touch it. How are they affected?
>>90219854
the boomerang doesn't "reverse" your personality. It just makes you behave in a way you wouldn't usually. It's pretty unpredictable.
For example, it made Ed act smart but it didn't make him start taking care of his personal hygiene or anything. Edd lost all sense of modesty and wanted to take his clothes off but it didn't make him stupid. And it's not like Eddy had a sudden desire to follow rules and give away money to people, it made him act like a mother to fucking briefcase.
All that fucking happened to Rolf was that he couldn't stop singing loud opera music, explain to me what that has to do with Rolf's usual personality?
>>90220091
Rolf was particularly weird since he was totally aware of what he was doing.
>>90219854
wendy from gravity falls stops being so stressed and takes her shoes off, lol
Here comes volume 3 of the tale of Steinheld "Stinz" Löwhard, a halfhorse and veteran of the Great War.
We've jumped publishers again, this time from Brave New Words over to Mu Press, and this volume's arc mostly concerns the strange aftermath of the war and how it starts to intrude and change the idyllic Giesel valley forever.
Previous thread: >>90109562
If anyone has any of these, let me know, I'm missing a few things, notably Charger: The Complete War Stories, and the parts that were in The Dreamery.
Should I be ashamed of myself for watching this?
>>90219645
Yes.
>>90219645
yup
Not ashamed but I watched it a few times and they didn't really say anything that you wouldn't pick up from /co/, twitter, solicits, etc. Not really useful.
