Who are some well known people who are /co/ nerds?
Rivers Cuomo from Weezer is into a lot of underground and obscure comics like Eightball, Optic Nerve, Peepshow, Underwater, Yummy Fur, etc.
I'm curious to hear about others.
>>90508206
Rivers Cuomo is a spazz autist who was disabled for most of his youth, of course he was a nerd loser.
White album was good tho
glenn danzig is a huge fan of comics and even owns his own line of erotic horror titles
>>90508206
Eminen wasted a shitlod of money in comics
This is probably the best Family Show ever made.

Everything Henson Works related is solid.
Even Mirrormask is okay.

Filthy communists

We never seem to talk about Muppet stuff here though. Is it because that new Muppet show sucked?
How do you think Dale would be reacting right now, finally knowing that he was always right about the CIA and government spying
>>90507229
Smug.
He'd be busy running around his house destroying all his electronics with internet access
Is the bug a bego bugged? The Cia could have killed him remotely. Or any one of us for that matter fuck.
Do you think Season 5 is going to wrap up the series with the future Jack that the Guardian Portal showed, or are they going to forget about that episode? I'm hoping they do it for continuity reasons, but I'm worried they won't as Jack doesn't age according to S5 and he looks noticeably older in pic related.
>>90507079
Isnt that after he goes back to the past
>>90507154
I took it as meaning as that's what Jack is going to look like when he's ready to use the portal.
I don't think if they change it it's so much they forgot, it's that Genndy has had years that he possibly came up with what he thinks is a better ending.
How could they possibly have thought making a cartoon like this would be a good idea? Man, fuck the 90s.

wtf is her problem?
>>90506174
Were they going to try to do Ozma with this?
How could you go from this masterpiece...
To this steaming pile of shit?
>>90505972
The writers of the second one were a pair of dumb asses with daddy issues and feminism as their flag cause. They actually think they are more talented than they actually are and when the actual writers of the Creative TEAM (not fucking duo) that did a good job for Atla left, they did the only thing that anyone could have imagined: They ruined everything.
>>90505972
I like Korra but it's the George Lucas problem. They need to work with the right other people. Left unchallenged they fuck stuff up a little too much.
Also it probably doesn't help that the show didn't know how long it was going to be so it kept trying to tie things up and then contrive some way to keep going. If they had known from day one they were getting four seasons it would be much better.Fuck beginnings. It's the midichlorians of Avatar.
Is Boomerang about to become just a streaming service? Are they ready to launch Cartoon Network Too?
Will CN Too be 24/7 TTG?
>>90505885
>Cartoon Network Too
Let's say this "Cartoon Network Too" airs reruns of older Cartoon Network shows like Boomerang did/does, you are tasked with choosing between five to ten cartoons (with more than one season) out of the CN Vault to help get this channel on it's feet. What do you choose, Anons?
>>90505885
No, it's "complementary":
>The TV channel isn’t going away, and Turner is positioning the SVOD service as complementary to the product it sells to pay-TV providers — as a way for Time Warner to create new revenue streams from its divisions’ intellectual-property portfolios.
>But Turner may irritate fans of the Boomerang TV channel by making the SVOD service the exclusive home for new episodes of three popular series: “Scooby-Doo,” “Looney Tunes” and “Tom & Jerry.” In addition, the Boomerang subscription service will host exclusive original series; the first of those are Warner Bros. Animation’s “Dorothy and the Wizard Of Oz,” a new spin on the classic L. Frank Baum tale, and “Wacky Races,” a reboot of Hanna-Barbera’s late-’60s slapstick-y road-rally series.

>“The truth is, with any of these superhero stories, it doesn’t really matter,” Jenkins told press including CBR at an event in London last week. “It’s not about World War I. It’s about a god — a superhero/Amazon — coming to man’s world and viewing mankind.”
So to everyone who was wondering what they were thinking when they set Wonder Woman during WWI, one of the ugliest, most brutal, and morally ambiguous wars in human history, the answer is exactly what we thought-- they put no thought into it at all.
>>90504982
>one of the ugliest, most brutal, and morally ambiguous wars in human history
Maybe she'll come to understand that over the course of the movie. That'd be interesting.
>>90504982
>they set Wonder Woman during WWI, one of the ugliest, most brutal, and morally ambiguous wars in human history
I mean, that sounds like the reason she decided "fuck it" so many years ago in BvS
>>90504982
Morals are relative.

No I don't think it is kino.

I miss this show
Episode 6 is out today, and I guess its the last of the season?
>>90504771
I completely forgot this series existed.
>season three's already over after waiting two years for it
At least it's been good.
What's VRV?

Gary x Monarch x Dr. His Wife
Name a more iconic trio
>>90504746
she's more of a third wheel than a part of the trio
So did Megan's spirit inhabit an egg in her body making her essentially becoming pregnant with herself? That's kind of neat.
>>90504395
Nice to see that the writers remembered to take some LCD before working on a new Shade comic.
Or maybe they sniffed Morrison armpit, this work too

How can one company be so based?
So which Rebirth books would you consider a success and which ones are failures, or rather, which ones do you like?
>>90504326
The last issue of "Green Arrow" was pretty fucking great.
>>90504326
Supes and Deathstroke have been pretty solid.
>>90504326
Depends on what you mean by "success".
I have read almost all of rebirth books and I only looking forward RHATO and NSM.
I dare you to name a sadder /co/-related death then Hugh Neutron's.
>>90504269
The pizza is aggressive!
Common sense.
How do you cope with the cost of getting comics? I usually get TPB's but after seeing these variants, I was willing to buy them.
Turns out that with shipping, the cost is £77. For 2 floppies. Not TPBs or full stories. Fuck that.
>>90503605
Depends on the art but mostly I spend anywhere from 60-100 bucks on volumes. Sometimes I buy special variants or buy them second hand from local swap meets or flea markets.
>>90503605
>How do you cope with the cost of getting comics?
>>>/co/win-o

libgen is great for older comics, but for newer ones I just use readcomics or rely on storytime threads.
