So I've worked my way through most of the first season of adventure time and I'm kind of getting a little irritated. Is there a general recommendation of episodes I should watch?
That depends on what you're irritated about. The general opinion is that seasons 2 and 3 are the golden era of early AT, so I'd stick out a little longer and if you're still not enjoying it then drop it.

fpbp
also if you're watching mainly for any sort of overarching storyline drop this hard now
>>90552149
This too. I'll also say that there probably are a couple of episodes you could skip, but most are either worth watching anyway or become relevant later on. But as the other anon said, AT doesn't have an overarching narrative so if you're watching it just for plot, you're gonna have a bad time.
IS A MAN NOT ENTITLED TO THE SWEAT OF HIS BROW?
or perhaps he's wondering why you would shoot a man before throwing him out of a plane
>tfw true ancap has never been tried
Walt knew

A MAN CHOOSES, A SLAVE OBEYS
"Star, it's not real. The point of earth magic is to allow yourself to be entertained by pretended that it's real. Just like love."
What did he mean by this?
His energy/joy had been drained so in his more depressive state he let loose some angsty bullshit
>>90551208
Marco is black pilled and will probably kill himself. Star will be really guilty when she realizes she wasn't able to see it coming. Jackie won't give a fuck
>>90551208
He's letting her know she can always pretend her love for him is two sided.
And you failed right off the bat, OP.

Dead characters dont count

Did her important bits get roboticized, too?
Is there any "hook" to Miles Morales aside from his ethnicity?
I don't get what his appeal is supposed to be
>>90550986
No there isnt.
His ethnicity isn't really a hook. It's just there. Costume is cool though.
We'll never know if Miles actually has any potential because Bendis is the only one who writes him and he refuses to give the kid anything. No personality, no villains, no nothing. He's not even worth hating.
>>90550986
that's because of his writer, not his character
I really liked his Secret Avengers, is there anything else he's done thats good? or any recs for similar fun team stories like this?
Zero is lots of fun and has a variety of very skilled artists.

Fuck off Kot, you're comics are shit
The witchhunt he led against Nathan Edmondson was a pretty lulzy story.
>is massively fucked up from his childhood
>is still somehow the least fucked up boy adventurer we've met
>>90550519
That's because being a boy adventurer makes for a fucked-up childhood. By sheer comparison, Rusty got off easy.
Maybe it's because he became bitter and guarded instead of... whatever happened to Johnny Quest.
>>90550519
Rusty only lucked out because he didnt entirely piss away his inheritance and was a father. The boys gave him a constructive outlet, and Brock also set him straight.
I will start with the most obvious.
I mean, if you want to get technical...
if she had just waited til the earthlings destroyed each other in the next world war, she could've just moved on in and conquered earth without a fight.

Disney Hades?
Then again it was fate.
Why was this show canceled?
>>90550205
Jimmy
It got what, three seasons? Seems like a pretty healthy run to me.
>>90550230
It had 4 seasons and 52 episodes.
Find me a more moe super heroine
Superman is gap moe
the comic version of her is way more moe than the shitty YJ one
Can we discuss this awesome show?
Also, you know, its not like there's anything I, as Op, can do to stop you from PrickleyPosting, but if we could have some discussion I'd appreciate it
>PrickleyPosting
I... what?
>>90549965
you know, you post the Prickley speech from the movie, but stick in something about TJ having se with a classmate
>>90550001
I think you're making things up OP
Vroom Vroom
The Cars franchise makes so little sense and sticks out like a sore thumb in Pixar's ouvre
>>90549611
>A stock car from the mid-00s can't compete with a stock car from the 10s
>There is absolutely no way to update this car to compete
>It is just too old!
Fuck the new movie.
How do the cars even breed in that universe?
How did this get past the censors??
>>90549346
Garfield couldn't take the rage room anymore.
>>90549346
It was 1978, at a time when the only thing that would get you into trouble with parents was either directly showing people dying or having one of your characters saying "fuck me in my bohemian anus, homie!"

So what do you think this actually is?
I know that people have been throwing around the phrase "Back to Basics", but do you think that this will actually result in a status quo that is closer to 2014-ish? Or do you think that this will just be another shitty event that results in a "new" status quo that no one cares about?
In the case of the latter (which I'm really leaning toward), do you think Marvel will have ANYTHING to please old fans? DC launched rebirth by teasing Wally's return; does Marvel even have an equivalent?
Also, is there anyone here who is satisfied with current marvel? What do you think about this event?
The best guess I have heard is that it is leading into the thing in the fall that is called Make Mine Marvel and it is Marvel pulling the rip cord and Rebirthing it
You guys think Ross enjoys working on these? I mean, other than the prospect of getting paid?
>>90549460
I have to assume he just doesn't give a shit about marvel. He really hates drawing modern DC costumes.
This is your weekly dose of Young Animal. New arc and new artist this week!
Pretty good use background buildings to hint as to what the story is this time
I wonder if they are switching artists for each arc. This book was delayed at one point, and Shawn Crystal seems to be the artist for the next three issues
