Batman, you were gathering information on her. Since you think she's with Superman does that also mean you were thinking about killing her too since she's with the threat?

http://heroichollywood.com/david-goyer-green-lantern-corps/

>“This one doesn’t have a director either, but it has a writer and it has a producer. I’m hearing David Goyer could very well wind up directing Green Lantern Corps himself. When you look at screenwriters that are taking the plunge and directing these movies themselves, we saw rumors last month that Simon Kinberg was going to direct the next X-Men movie. David Goyer is responsible for this entire DC Universe, he wrote Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. He wrote Man of Steel, he is the architect, if you will. He is writing and producing Green Lantern Corps, so it’s just very well, what I have heard, one of those situations where he could be like “Listen, I think I may be the best guy for the job, nobody knows this like I do.”

Please, please don't. Zack and Nolan are the kino makers, Goyer is a freeloading shill.

Why do people just point blank HATE Goyer?
He has written good things. Even if you don't like MoS, he wrote (co-wrote?) the Dark Knight trilogy.

>inb4 the Dark Knight trilogy is bad

Pre-Hydrox, he was just a dude who hated having random bullshit foisted on him. He didn't hate DOING things (considering he would often go along with Joel's plans when Joel was up front about them, like the time they quested for the World Gems or the time they went into the Internet), he just didn't like being forced into retarded plots with no warning. Combine that with his generally being TERRIBLE with the ladies, and you've got Phil Argus.

Post-Hydrox, I have no fucking idea. He sort of became an avatar for Matt Wilson at this point, openly disgusted with the world around him and the characters within. It's bizarre, the second they landed back on Earth Phil began to take this weirdly-nihilistic approach to everything he did. It started off innocently enough, just getting upset at random characters and trying to return to his post-space life, but near the end he was willing to alienate everyone around him and destroy the world for what amounted to petty grievances.

Of course, this destabilization of the character came around the same time that Matt Wilson stopped giving a shit about the series, so trying to figure out what Phil's fucking problem was seems kind of a moot point.

Yeah weapon X looks decent. I want to be excited about X-men Gold but the only thing I've read of marc guggenheim is that awful Green Arrow run he had after Lemire.

>Now Marvel is announcing Secret Empire: Brave New World, a companion series to Secret Empire which tells the story of how the Marvel Universe at large deals with the truth about Steve Rogers. The new series, which is set to debut in June, is written by Paul Allor (Uncanny Inhumans) with art by Brian Level (Deadpool) and an army of Marvel’s top creators following suit and detailing how every corner of the Marvel Universe lives in a world overrun by the hordes of Hydra. Brave New World calls out to the larger Marvel Universe as it encounters its darkest days and gathers an army of creative talent to tell the tales of how some of Marvel’s heroes – The Invaders, Blade, Gwenpool, and the All- New Patriot stand united against Captain America and Hydra.

>Due to the manipulations of the Red Skull, Captain America now leads the Hydra charge against the entire Marvel Universe; under this new regime, Earth’s protectors are forced to come to grips with the revelation that one of their very own is now their greatest enemy. An essential companion series, Secret Empire: Brave New World expands on a world under the boot of Hydra and how Marvel heroes, from every corner of the globe, must band together against Captain America—including his oldest allies from World War II, The Invaders. Issue #1 is written by Paul Allor, Jeremy Whitley, and Nick Kocher, with art by art by Brian Level, Diego Olortegui, Will Robson. Issue #2 features art by Brian Level, Tana Ford, and Juan M. Frigeri. Both issues go on sale this June, and you can preview the first two covers down below.

Is inking an important part of comic book design?

Yes. You only really notice it when you see bad inks ruin a great set of pencils, though. It's the bass player of comic book art.

This movie was just fine, plot issues aside (it's Disney) and historical accuracy aside (IT'S FUCKING DISNEY) this shit is a great movie...I feel like the only people who hate it are autists mad about it not being true to Greek myth as if any Disney story is anything but stolen stories rearranged in the way they want, people who were too old for it when it came out, and people who are triggered because they never heard black singers before

>"I spent months trying to come up with something for Ben. The Batman that I know and the one I learned is the one that Christian did, and Ben plays it differently. And I can’t quite shake that off. For me, the Christian Bale character was always completely unresolved. It was always about that moment at the beginning of the first movie, where he sees his parents getting killed. It was basically arrested development. The Ben character is more middle-aged, he seems to be grumpy as hell but I didn’t feel the pain that I felt in Christian’s performance. And it was that pain that made be interested."

>Ron Howard actually said something very smart to me. He said, “Don’t say you will never do a superhero movie again, wait for somebody to turn up with an amazing script for a superhero movie.” And I suppose that’s what I’m saying: Can I please have the amazing script?

>It just did my brain in to have written Christian Bale as Batman, and suddenly it’s Ben Affleck [in *Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice*]. And it felt like I was betraying everything Christian had done. So there’s a certain amount of loyalty attached to those movies, as well.

Is he right about Bale and Affleck, /co/?

I think so.

If Bales Batman was "sadness" over his parents, then Afflecks Batman is definitely "Anger".

Affleck was the superior Batman in my opinion; however the killing fucked it up.

>NOT MUH NOLAN
>>
Yeah, I can see his point. Baleman was a start to finish deal. You watched Bruce train under the League of Shadows and adopt the darkness. You saw him at his weakest when he turns up at Rachel's location only to find Dent instead. Meanwhile Batfleck is already a Batman with a life's worth of experience. We don't see him struggle to deal with the death of a Robin, or any of the other things it's implied he's been through. So right now he's just a mammal-themed Punisher.
