YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME BATMAN

I think that's a pretty good match. batgirl's story has always been whedony. i liked the original and the BTAS version equally. just.. someone trying to follow batman's example and do some good.. but isnt nearly as grim as he is, and still balances her life. more of a spider-man
>>91168799
>Cass
Literally who tier. Clinically diagnosed retard.
Why would she ever headline a movie?
>>91169210
She's the most interesting and capable batgirl
Also a chance for an Asian casting that isn't fucking iron fist
>Miss me yet?
>>91168736
I miss Toby McGuire and Sam Raimi
>>91169165
>I miss Toby McGuire
Why?
>3 Quips in first film

>Decides "fuck new york, I'll move with my girlfriend somewhere else"
>Needs youtube tutorials to make his equippment
Yeah, best peter allright
In theory, couldn't Pinocchio use his lie detector nose to uncover the secrets of the universe?
>>91168375
It's only a lie if you're aware of what you're talking about.
>>91168375
Care to elaborate?
I want to fuck those donkey boys.
Overall it was excellent. I didn't think a team book about d list xmen characters could have been this good. The only downsidestraight were that the beginning had a bit too many crossovers to current events (which is understandable since all the big events at the time were mutant related) and that by the end a lot of plots seemed unfinished and it doesn't seem like they've been picked up since. Plus except for Monet, most of the characters haven't been seen or just barely seen.
Did a lot of the plots get dropped because all new x factor didnt do well? I mean I know it was the same name and still peter david but it didn't seem like it tied in too much to the previous run/characters besides polaris.
Do you think we'll get to see more from Jamie, layla, strong guy, Longshot, ricktor, shatterstar, or Theresa in the near future? I know strong guy was briefly in thunderbolts and Jamie "died " by the fart clouds but I don't really count those as a big deal
The shipperfag in me as a teen preferred Jamie/Siryn to Jamie/Layla. I didn't like the kid being absorbed.
Stroman's run still scars my memories but overall a great run and this along with the Madrox miniseries helped solidify Madrox as my favorite mutant.
I did think it went off the rails at the end with the Hel stuff, I preferred the investigations.
>>91168449
I totally agree on the Jamie/Syren thing. I always went them to talk it out after the baby thing but they never really talked it out.
Layla grew on me over time but i was never sure if she was with Jamie because she loved him or because "she's supposed to".
Jamie definitely became one of my favorite x men characters if not my favorite. I was pretty pissed when I heard he died in the inhuman event going on. I figured they'd used the reverend John Maddrox to bring him back but I hope not since I really liked John
>>91168621
Didn't you hear? Every last one of his dupes died. Every single one. At least according to Soule. Why the fuck would John be there though?
Anyways, X-Factor was thoroughly enjoyable, had a pretty good ending even though the demon shit at the end was stupid, but Peter David was recovering from a heart attack so there's that. What was your favorite moment? Mine was probably Jamie in the future with old man clops and Ruby Summers.
Just read it. It was kinda comfy, to be honest.
I was missing the meat and potatoes X-Men, and it felt good to have them as heroes back.
I don't have any special expectations, but I really hope that the new books will be cringe-free.
>>91167975
Stay away from X-men Blue, X-men Gold, the Jean and Iceman solos and maybe you will be cringe free.
>>91168097
But I like Magneto, and Magik. I will probably avoid Iceman and JG.
>>91168125
dude just follow writers and artists you care about. Don't be a character fag
Who is better and hotter co?
Velma or daphone.
Daphne is the patrician choice, Velma is for contrarian plebs
WAIT SO WHO WAS DA PHONE?
>>91167329
It appears Jack won't be getting his badass samurai armor back. Instead he'll start improvising new armors as he goes along. What do you think of that?
I like samurai biker armor
I wish he kept it. But he will get his old white kimono 100%
>>91167126
I for one love it. It's great when a character gets multiple outfits instead of staying with the same one throughout the whole series.
Makes sense to me, they've had like 26 years to come up with design concepts and want to put in as many as they can.
This is a story about a room, the people who lived in it, and the events that took place both inside and outside of it.
When you started working on a piece like this and then found this book a week later
God damn that really kicked my dick in.... this is a great book though glad I own a hard copy
Russian leaks

It's over?
Is it finally fucking over?

>Pip was just passed out
Knew it.
>nowhere to find full porn comics
Why even etc.
I will never call Sequential Art "funny", but when JJ is actually firing off strips at a rate of more than once every 6 months, it's a nice, harmless read.
It's like comfort food: you know there's stuff out there that's better for you, but just feel weirdly happy eating it instead.
Yep, called it. Action Comics #1 homage.

Everyone fucking did.

What's the appeal of the punisher?
Also what's you're opinion on Garth Ennis?
>>91166080
I have no idea.
Repetitive, contrived and mediocre.
Punisher Max is one of the best singular runs ever printed.
The appeal of the Punisher is that many people wants to see criminals dead, unlike other popular heroes who have a "don't kill" rule.
That's it. Basically the same appeal of every single vigilante action hero from movies.

Oh my
>>91165938
That is gorgeous art. That is my favorite scene from the entire Star Wars franchise. The drama, the pain, the regret, and the unfiltered love between a badass revolutionary and a scruffy looking nerf-herder.
>The Forbidden Love of Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano (April 1)
I'm ready
How does one proceed with making a comic-accurate costume look good on TV/movies without making it look totally ridiculous or shit?
Black Lightning's costume could be less bulky, and throw away the mask.
We can debate certain details, but Spider-Man costumes usually look right.
Shit shouldn't be hard.
I like this outfit. The subtle V is great
So with Batgirl on everyone's minds, this seemed like a good time to ask... we've all heard the "why doesn't Batman kill/rape the Joker? threads, and I think whether we like it or not, we all know the reasons why he doesn't...
...but would Barbara just straight-up shoot the Joker?
She was raised by a cop who has no moral compunctions about carrying a gun, she has no traumatic memory associated with witnessing a murder - she DOES, however, have a traumatic memory associated with letting her guard down around the Joker for a second, and probably wouldn't wanna make that mistake again...
TL,DR: where does Babs actually fall on the whole "No guns, no killing" rule? I understand she's her daddy's girl and probably wouldn't want to go full-vigilante ala Punisher, but it feels like she wouldn't be opposed to using them as a last resort either.
Pics related I promise, just wait for it.

>Throwing a loaded gun
Not smart.
