>I hate these fucking Rick and Morty fans, I can't stand their forced Szechuan sauce memes and liberal, atheist...Reddit humor.
>D'ah I don't know Boss, I think its a pretty good show. It kind fills the gap when there's no new seasons of Venture Bros, and the weird aesthetic kind of fits the Adult Swim vibe, drrrrr.
Why is it so popular to hate on Rick and Morty?
>>91603809
Because Rick and Morty is popular.
Got them? You sure?If they had a sex scene, what song would be playing as they fuck?
Popeye the Sailor Man, the song would be Popeye the Sailor Man.

You're looking at Civil War I era Tony dummy.
What makes character design good or bad?
Good character design is when practicality, originality, and purpose match the tone of the character.
Bad character designs usually have too much going on along with bad color choices.
>>91602414
You can see a good character design right off the bat if the color choices are solid, not over designed (or under designed) and most importantly if the character's personality shines through.

It depends. Which version of him?

What if they can't stand the overly religious and jolly types?
Need your help /co/. I've never read the spider man comics, but I've always been peripherally aware of them and it's on my to do list. Thing is I have a buddy who's read them, and I was talking with him yesterday and he went into a bit of a rant about how MJ Is/was/has always been a colossal bitch. Now I wanted to disagree, because that ran contrary to my understanding of the character, but I honestly couldn't because I don't know enough. Can you either refute his claim /co/? Please? I know it's not a big deal, but it's kinda making me sick to my stomach. Is she a bitch?
No, she's a nice person.
Does she look like a bitch?

Newspaper comics have a different standard. Being a hack is the only way to maintain a career, lest you offend the sensibilities of one church-going, milquetoast normie who gets their newspaper to drop your comic.
do you think in a parallel universe there's a successful version of (you)?

There's a fairly successful version of me in this one.

Yeah probably, there's also way worse versions of me too which is nice.

I've been in a relationship since I got out of college a year ago and am making 80K. Not everyone is a loser like you.
I've stumbled upon this today, and it really eloquently puts into words what I've been thinking for a while now. Does /co/ agree with this criticism of Marvel?
https://www.thefandomentals.com/nazi-captain-america-bombshells/
tl;dr - Captain Nazi is absolutely tasteless, given our current events, his character is now irredeemable, and Spencer is, perhaps unknowlingly, distributing flat-out nazi propaganda.
>>91596861
1) Doing ANYTHING to "Captain America" in ANY political climate would and will be considered "absolutely tasteless" by some people or other.
2) They are fucking brands, "intellectual properties". they can be repurposed in two clicks with a massive viral campaign if need arise.
>>91596861
Cap isn't a Nazi. He specifically wanted to purify Hydra of Red Skull and his nazi shit.
As a character he is no less redeemable than any one else when they go on a heel turn because 1)
He is not real.
2) Everything he's doing is because of the cosmic cube. Look at Tony Stark in Civil War. He made all those choices on his own (narratively speaking), and he still wasn't "irredeemable".
>>91596861
Not going to dignify your website with the clicks. Captain Hydra is one of the best and most enjoyable books Marvel is currently putting out. I really don't give a fuck if it's "tastless, given our current events."
It's a well-written and entertaining comic, which Marvel is in short supply of these days. That's all that really matters. Not what some MCUfag blogger thinks about how it hurts his feelings because it has some vague parallels to politics that he doesn't agree with.
Not to mention "hydra = nazi" is an opinion that literally only movie-only casuals holds. Comics Hydra has nothing to do with Nazis and no matter how many times you go "b-but the first Cap movie called them the Nazi Super-Science Division!" won't change the fact that Hydra is not and has never been a Nazi organization.
>b-but they were a stand-in for Nazis!
Marvel never had any problem depicting nazis or Hitler or the Red Skull when they wanted to have super-heroes fighting nazis. They didn't NEED a stand-in because when they wanted to have nazi villains, they just used nazis.
What went wrong anons?
Personally I hate every single "LOL REFERENCE TO OTHER NETFLIX SHOW LMAO!!", if they can show it, fucking show it, stop talking about Karen Page and how she likes this story, fucking show us Karen Page reading the story and smiling, I want to see Matt Murdock or Foggy drinking a coffee in the background, I want to see Daredevil on top of a rooftop in covered by shadows watching Danny dispatches the hand while making it as subtle as possible
I just want my netflix to actually exist in the same universe and shows it
>>91596387
Funny how in the first teaser for Defenders you dind't saw Jessica Jones name and her name wasn't mentioned in Iron Fist either when Nurse was talking about working with people with ''skills''.
Is like they know that the show was bad and metioning her being part of Defenders is going to damage Defenders.
I know that in those preview pics you can see her but I'm talking about name drops in the shows and teasers which is what normies actually pay attention to, nothing about JJ is mentioned
>>91596387
>What went wrong anons?
Perlmutter kept pushing for and made garbage material. Then based Feige stepped up and kept that shit out of the film universe he established and put Ike in his place. So now Ike just has his own little cesspool-universe where his cancer content can be thrown into.
>>91596515
yeah I wondered about this too, I didnt think they were a direct reference to the MCU starting form Luke Cage, no? only one I can remember was the Hulk and it was still vague as "green guy"
Everyone talks about the show's inconsistent art style, but which episodes looked the worst?
It's funny how even with mediocre animation, Steven Universe is still the better show than a lot of stuff with really good animation.
Ultimately animation is just a tool to serve the storytelling, which is the ultimate point.
No matter how beautifully animated "mouse fucks with cat" "rabbit fucks with hunter" or "roadrunner fucks with dog" is, what people ultimately crave is a good story.
>>91595515
This. Animation is nothing without a good story.
>>91595550
>>91595515
Animation is still an important part of a show, if it's inconsistent then it can turn some people off.
