Maybe, it was pretty cozy. I liked the animation and interview style.

why would her ex have more chance to reason with her than her actual boyfriend
I don't normally read comics, but recently i watched a TWAU playthrough and the whole story and premise really interests me.
I want more. Is this comic really worth it?
(((((NO FUCKING SPOILERS CUNT))))))
>>91486040
Well I was going to tell you but if you're going to be rude then forget it.
>>91486040
Yes, at least till certain point (the "Big Bad" being defeated).
The story lasted WAAAY after that, but without the same charm. Still good though.
It's god, but I think TWAU is the best version of the property.
>Breaking the seal on my tumblr here for a moment, as 140 characters will not suffice.
>Wonder Woman 25 will be my last issue on the title, at least for the time being.
>Before we get to rampant speculation, this is my decision. I just can’t maintain the pace on the title while also fulfilling my commitments to my other collaborators. It is, genuinely, as simple as that.
>Writing Diana again has been an amazing experience, on the level of a dream-come-true. All any of us who’ve worked on the book this last year have wanted is to serve her well, to illuminate what we so absolutely believe makes Wonder Woman such a remarkable and unique and timeless and important character. To have had that opportunity is something that I doubted I would ever get again. Most of us don’t get a single bite at the apple, let alone two, you know? To get that opportunity at a time when Diana is rising to such (long-overdue) prominence makes that apple all the sweeter. That she’s turned 75 during the course of our run is–to ruin the analogy–icing on the cake.
>We started Rebirth with a specific, though fairly broad, mandate from DC. “Bring her back to her core,” was what Geoff Johns told me. How we did it was up to us. Our success in doing so is measured, of course, by you. Wonder Woman 23 sees the end of our “primary” storyline, “The Lies/The Truth,” and Wonder Woman 24 serves as something of an epilogue to that tale. Wonder Woman 25 will, I hope, set a table for who is to follow, and provide for them as much room to work and explore and grow. Diana’s future is bright, that’s what I’m saying.
>Comics don’t get made in a vaccuum. Everything that we’ve done this past year is the result of so many people, of so much effort on their parts. Good editors are hard to find anywhere, but Mark Doyle has assembeld an amazing team with Chris Conroy and Rebecca Taylor and David Wielgosz. They are unbelievably good at their jobs. We wouldn’t have managed one issue, let alone 26 (I’m counting the Rebirth issue, too!) without them.
>Nicola Scott is probably one of my best friends in the world at this point. She is amazing. She’d be amazing if she wasn’t Wonder Woman anyway, but she’s kinda Wonder Woman anyway. It’s sort of not fair. A lot about Nic isn’t fair. Why does one person get to have that much talent AND be awesome, as well?
>Bilquis Evely and I have never met in person. This is probably for the best, as I fear I will tackle-hug her and end up squeezing so tight as to potentially fracture ribs and/or frighten her. I will ask her about hair, and how she manages to make it look so consistently amazing. I will thank her for her deft touch, and her humor, and her patience, and her skill.
>Matthew Clark is an old friend, and once upon a time, almost 20 years ago, he and I were going to work on Wonder Woman together. That we finally got to do so, albeit briefly, is enormous.
>>91485996
in other news Wonder Woman hopefully becomes readable again with issue #26

At least he and Prince can play ball again.
>Name a better comic series.
I'll wait....

I wish that every DC and Marvel character were done like this.
>owned just by one person and just writers artists that he wants will written it, keeping consistency
>time passes and the actions and issues have actual consequences that change the world
>spin offs come out naturally from characters previously introduced and liked, with great quality overall
>time passes in real time for Hellboy, with some space for previous adventures.
Just imagine if Superman, Batman and Spider-Man were made on this way.
I can't
Yeah I like hellboy, it's one of the two comics I read
How do I make a comic as good as Sonichu /co/?

Funny enough, I think this is the first issue of this series that's been storytimed. Or this is the first one I've seen anyway.

>DC Comics
>Detective Comics Comics
>>91484839
The "DC" in DC comics does not actually stand for anything, it used to be specifically for detective comics and they liked the way it sounded so they kept it, it doesn't have meaning any more

I believe it.
So I've recently found about Alien X and how powerful he is in the Ben 10 universe, and I've gotta ask; how is he in comparison to someone like Goku or Superman? From what I've seen he seems to be Gurren Lagann levels of ridiculous over-poweredness.
>>91484513
Alien X survived the destruction of the universe and proceeded to rebuild it.
>>91484565
So he's God, essentially?
If the two dickheads that control it let him use it it's basically the ability of omnipotence. I'm not sure how far that omnipotence goes, like whether he could give himself omniscience, but basically >>91484565
Know any cartoons/anime with styles sort of similar to Unico? Small/cute "chibi" type animals, lots of rounded edges/features. Steven Universe has this a bit. Chirin No Suzu to some degree. It seems more prevalent in the 80's anime? http://furcon.tumblr.com/ some of this person's art also nails it.
My Little Pony Friendship is Magic comes to mind, although the designs aren't quite "chibi" or Japanese like your pic and that persons art which is more Pokemon-ish, but it does have small cute animals, just in a bit more of a Western stylization that's not too far off
>>91484540
MLP is close also. I'd lump it in there with acceptable style-study sources and will probably try to do some referencing from it, too. Thanks for the reminder.
I only watched the original Pokemon and played the GBC games. Is newer pokemon more akin to this style? Their art didn't immediately remind me of pokemon, besides maybe some of the sprites since they had to be chibi-fied in some sense.
http://toumeis.deviantart.com/gallery/ This person is sort of similar, though slightly outside of what I'm looking for.
http://furcon.tumblr.com/post/76036160037/sweetspets this post is probably the closest representation of what exactly I am looking for.
If Dick was able to become Nightwing why wasn't Wally able to become The Flash? Why did they decide to kill him off rather than Barry. It still baffles me to this day.
Because barry was anon-character in Young Justice and it would've meant nothing to anyone except Wally. The viewer wouldn't really care because they don't know shit about YJ Barry.
Its not about being accurate to the comics at every step, its about telling the story that makes sense in the context of the show and the show alone
>>91484374
They should have showed Barry off more in season 2 so it would have meant something. That makes more sense with the theme of having the characters evolve like the writers wanted.
>>91484459
Isn't having to accept that being a hero sometimes means dying in the line of duty and moving on while still remembering them also part of "the theme of having the characters evolve"?
Man, Wally fans are gonna be salty when s3 drops and he doesn't just drop out of the speed force in the future cuz Weisman thinks the speed force is retardedand he's right.
