Why cant western animation into -aesthetic-?
Western animation has so much more budget and manpower, but everything looks clunky, kiddish and like bloops of over saturated colour.
Even worse is the trends in modern western 2D "animation", with squiggly arms to hide the fact that they cant animate limbs properly for shit.
The last visually 10/10 western one I can think of Disney's Fantasia, and that was eons ago

I knew that website was full of casuals but this confirms it. Age of Ultron was fucking terrible, as not great Age of Ultron the movie was it was at least more cohesive and had better structure than the event it was "based" on.

What's with most modern movies hardly spending their budget on advertising? The only film I noticed that did pretty well was that Cloverfield Lane movie. It aired commercials weeks before anyone even knew a sequel existed.

Like how Earth-1 and Earth-2 used to be handled in pre-Crisis DC.
They're still separate worlds. They can cross over for the occasional event but otherwise they have their own setting, their own stories.
Look at how well merging Captain Marvel/Shazam worked for *that* property. Completely ruined the character while adding precisely zero.
