Is there a Powerpuff Girls episode that you look at as a favorite? Or one that means a lot to you?
>Haley Mancini: Haley Mancini: I really like “Poorbucks” and “Home, Sweet Homesick.” I think it’s because Blossom reminds me of Lisa Simpson, and I love letting her really have her moments there.
>Jake Goldman: “Home Sweet Homesick” is one of my favorite things we’ve ever done. I spent a lot of summers going to sleepaway camp and it really shaped who I am today. Besides that, probably “Arachno-romance” for a lot of reasons both personal and professional.
What’s coming up for The Powerpuff Girls in the near-future?
>Jake Goldman: A lot of weird and funny stuff. Bigger baddies. Larger explosions. Old friends. New foes. Danger. Doomsday weapons. Action. Adventure. Intrigue. And the best scene about mason jars that I think has been written for cartoons yet.
>Haley Mancini: There’s a really “lovely” turn coming up for a super-intelligent monkey who may not see it coming. Also, Ms. Keane gets the spotlight in one episode that I’m very excited about.
When not busy with work, how do you like to spend your free time?
>Haley Mancini: Playing with my two cats, BB and Wu! I also still do lots of shows at UCB and the Pack Theater, and I also smooch my boyfriend sometimes.
>Jake Goldman: This is the hardest question you’ve asked yet. Can I get back to you when I actually have free time?
Sure. So finally, any last words for the kids?
>Jake Goldman: Life is meant to be fun. Be strange. Roll with the punches and the harder you work, the luckier you’ll get.
>Haley Mancini: Be kind to each other, be kind to yourself! If you fail, laugh at it, learn what you can from it, and get back up and try again. Also, kitties are cute!

I don't have a disgusted enough reaction image for this.
>hello fellow kids
Is Ben 10(the 2005 one) Gen Y or Gen Z?
Gen y: born 1980-1995 (youngest was 10 when it came out, firmly in the target audience)
Gen z: born 1996-2010
Late gen y early gen z.
90s-2003 was gen y culture with tamagotchi, pokemon, and bop-it and then 2004-2006 was a transitional period, then 2007+ is full-blown gen z with iPhones, social media, Big Bang theory popularizing geek culture, Great recession, etc.

Christ this was bad. Not just kind of bad, but really bad. I love the MArvel Netflix stuff and have even mad excuses for IF as being passible and just looking worse than it is when compared to the quality of the other Netflix show, but The Defenders was just fucking awful. The color saturation was over done that many scenes were predictable "oh I bet Jessica will show up and save the day because there is purple over there" I mean, jesus, the fucking Chinese restaurant looked like and episode of Pee-Wee's playhouse. None of the dialog was natural, Most of Matt's scenes were ok, but his whole supporting cast seemed to be phoning it in, Luke's black flavor went fro social commentary to 80s level exploitation, Jessica was flanderized, the character lost all subtlety, Danny was just Danny and didn't really do anything but play damsel in distress at the end. This was on par with the second half of Luke Cage as far as shitfests go and now I'm worried about Punisher.

yeah you have shit writers and showrunners combined with no budget because you literally cram every supporting character from all the other Marvel Netflix shows into it the results are not going to be great
>>94913809
I'm mostly surprised because it looked like the majority of /co/ felt it was passable at least. But this was so far below what I've come to expect. And with each episode the dialog became more wooden and the plot felt more contrived. There is just no excuse for this amount of piss.
>Call himself "iron-giant"
>Superman fan
>Not a iron-man fan.
>>94913621
well duh, Supes only a cunt in sides stories and whatnot. Tony's a cunt all the live-long day.
Put it this way: if I had to owe one of them money or anything, I'd rather it be Superman.
Doesn't Iron Giant take place in the mid 50s? Iron Man wasn't created until 1963
>>94913621
Well the story was set in the 50s before Iron Man was created plus it's a Warner Bros project and they own DC.
I just made this

Where do I start?
You people must be fools to try and interfere with me! I am above the law!
I rule this block! I rule this city! And soon, with my drugs, I will rule your lives!
I am the Headman! And the Headman reigns supreme!

What is /co/ opinion on No Man's Land? Is one of the best or worse Batman sagas?
>>94913164
It's good shit. The only thing I don't like is that it gets pretty cliche towards the end but the beginning, especially the first couple of issues by Bob Gale, was pretty strong.
>Character for whatever reason has stopped aging
>When the reason for their stopped aging is gone, they immediately age to how old they should be instead of aging normally from that point onward.

Ruby Summers, the daughter of Cyclops and Emma Frost from an alternative timeline, has been in her Ruby form for like 80 years, and she doesnt switch back to her normal human form because she doesnt know if that would make her age those 80 years suddenly.
She is not sure of what would happen, but the possibility alone is enough to convince her of staying in her Ruby form.
