Because things being canon or non-canon affect the world that the story takes place in, and it creates plot holes when it's ignored, which in turn leads to the belief that the creators don't give a shit about their world if they make mistakes that could easily have been fixed if they just paid attention to their own damn canon. In addition, specifying what is and is not actually happening can be necessary if you have an episode or story that is so fucking deplorable, having it as part of your overarching story devalues it as a whole (see also: Star Trek Voyager's "Threshold").

Yellow peril villain that Marvel made up to capitalize on it, being adapted as a war on terror villain Aldrich Killian made up to capitalize on that. As for him going method and using Extremis to give himself powers, people would still be mad he's not the real Mandarin

It pisses me off how SU fags treat it's rerun-less time so strong. It's had more reruns than Adventure Time and Regular Show put together since 2014, and even though that's easy to accomplish, It had decent weekly reruns for years up until 2016 got a bit wonky and as soon as it dropped off the schedule the fans cried and cried.

This issue is weird, and with a "particular" artwork.

It's writen by Future Quest's Jeff Parker. It has its fun moments, but the point of the story is how powerful Orko can be, to the point that he can create and change realities. This tale could be the consider the prelude of what happened in the first MOTU mini series, and the DC vs MOTU crossover, when it was revealed that Orko has been possessed by Horde Prime's accursed Skull, that Laser Lot found in the very first issue of Masters of the Universe, and then ended at Skeletor's hands.

The art was good, but not flashy. Where it really excels is in composition and how it illustrates what's going on in the story. In that area it's peerless. I can't think of another book that even comes close.
