Who wins?
>>91832574
It ends with Morty fucking it up for the both of them.
>>91832574
Bugs has more "endurance"; if the game goes long enough Rick will just light what ever he was working on on fire and go drink, but Rick would make the attempt at lethal force first: "it's just a fucking rabbit!", so it settles down to Rick's comedic malicious sociopathy vs. Bugs toonforce.
>>91832722
Rick seems to have pretty strong toonforce himself considering he's aware he is a cartoon.
I mean if Cecil the Turtle can defeat Bugs, he's not really as indestructible as people make him out to be.
>need a body to get on boat
>no dogs allowed on the boat
>not-dogs on the boat threaten to behead those those who call them dogs
what did gennedy mean by this
>>91832314
The sign says "No dog"
Dog. As in one single dog.
Those are clearly dogs.
As in multiple dogs.
Multiple dogs are allowed.
Single dogs are not.
So says AKU.
Goddamn Why is Genndy such a Gawddam HACK??!
>>91832314
>>91832337
The sign implies entry is forbidden if you are *not* a dog. Scaramouche obviously wasn't a real one
Who was in the right?
>>91932528
Steven, considering you can take out a Gem without killing them.
>>91932552
and they'll just come back even angrier
Bismuth's weapon wasn't very good. Well, for anything other than shattering Pink Diamond, anyway.
Is it really her fault? She just wanted to your afternoon friend. There was no love to be had. You projected your childhood crush into her. Its not her fault she has Russian cults.
Leave the poor mousy alone.

One can't help but to love Gadget
>>91832181
It's 4:20am in America and you have bad grammar.
Gadget is fine but stop trying to normalize your creepy furry cult, Boris.
what's the point of watching samurai jack if we already know the ending?
>>91931656
inb4 this ending is retconned.
need to know what he became the king of
The events leading up to it. The pain. Struggle. Loss. Enlightenment and journey.
When it comes to cutting costs on a budget, would you prefer a style with more detailed designs but limited animation (Boondocks, Black Dynamite, Venture Brothers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers Assemble) or simpler designs but with a lot more movement in comparison (Most everything else)?
I don't really have a preference, both are acceptable. Writing is the most important part.
>>91832000
Simpler style with smoother animation. Season 1 of the Boondocks was an eyesore because of how stilted it looked. It looked better in later seasons, but that was because of having a better budget and having scenes done by Madhouse.
>>91832000
PGBC is probably not a good example for that since it's a couple tiers higher than other cartoons in terms of base complexity tho
Anyway, the problem is that each approach is not really usable for everything; there's examples of riding the line really well (Batman TAS and Beyond), but usually you can't just pull off a traditional adventure/action cartoon with wacky rubberhose characters and animation. Or rather, you *can* but it just doesn't work as well (or at least, in the same way). Steven Universe wouldn't be as much of a tonal trainwreck with the original visual approach, for example
I didn't realize it until now, but Tom Brevoort edited Civil War II? Did that mean that before the editing, it was even worse? Because I remember with Millar's Civil War and Bendis' Secret Invasion that Brevoort posted early outlines and corrections like in this part of Millar's Civil War pitch:
http://z3.invisionfree.com/Mickeys_Comic_Tavern/index.php?showtopic=1603
And Nick Lowe's comments on Secret Invasion:
http://rocketf.org/thepond/archive/index.php?thread-807-80.html
>>91831903
I also recall Brevoort saying in a half-joking but I'm deadly serious kind of way that editing Bendis was a headache.
He probably gave up on CWII which is why it's so shit.

>S.W.O.R.D. isn’t a wing or subsidiary of S.H.I.E.L.D. or the US gov’t. It’s a completely separate entity that has worked with S.H.I.E.L.D. on occasion. They’re an intergalactic peace-keeping organization that doesn’t operate under any government or world’s control. In ASTONISHING, Brand mentions to Maria Hill that the only reason that S.H.I.E.L.D. knows that S.W.O.R.D. exists is because of her relationship with Nick Fury.
>Possible solution- Rather than an inspection, Dugan’s reason for coming to the Peak (what the ship is called) could be one of a regular meeting they’ve set up to share information. It could still be special that it’s Dugan coming (maybe Maria Hill is the usual rep from S.H.I.E.L.D.) and I could imagine that Brand has a prior relationship with Dugan since she had one with Fury. And I could also imagine a few of the S.W.O.R.D. agents being really into meeting him.
>Agent Brand’s characterization- She’s not really an excited school girl. She’s a sarcastic, all-business, hard-*** who has little time for…anything, really. But, like I said before, I could see that she and Dugan might have a positive relationship. But we usually treat her like she’s the one with the knowledge. She doesn’t ask questions too much. One place in particular that I might ask for a simple change would be reversing the dialogue on pages 18-19 panel 5 so that the agent asks the question and Brand answers it. The only other thing that I might ask is that Brand, rather than radioing the Helicarrier, might be trying to radio S.W.O.R.D. HQ and it might be jammed by XXX XXXXXX.
Bendis wrote Brand like an excited school girl? Seriously? What the fuck is wrong with him? Why use her if he clearly didn't read Astonishing?
>>91831903
It was better but the world building needed to be changed
HE'S GONNA TAKE YOU BACK TO THE PAST

>>91831583
THATS NOT EVEN A FUCKING CARTOON YOU MONGOLOID
Is it just me or does Harley Quinn sound more like Lois Griffin in this movie?
>>91831405
At least she doesn't sound like that Pony slut.
>>91831405
It's just me or the whole thing looks like it was animated on half of the budget a single episode of family guy has.
>>91831405
>Shitty big bang theory chick as Harley
>Forced Nightwing/Harley ship
>shitty animation
>rehashed episode from BTAS
>Just an excuse for Timm to work in edgy shit he couldn't do back in the day
The Movie looks so much like garbage in general. Timm really is a hack without Dini.
Why is baldness traditionally associated with evil in comic books and cartoons? Always wanted to know. The most despicable villains are almost always bald.
>>91831354
went bald from the stress of concocting shitty plans that never work.
>>91831354
Everyone knows that evil is bad for hair health.
>>91831354
Not always. bald characters tend be either bad guys or badass good guys
>Her first appearance
>/co/ complains that Ice King is going to get a generic healing arc
>Calls it evidence of the show being bad
>Years pass
>She goes as insane as the man she wanted to save and falls into the same trap as the man she gave up her life for
This show is so fucking good that I feel it's unfair for to even criticise the parts I don't like. How do you get that good?
>>91831075
I was too glad that they replaced Lena Dunham to appreciate anything else about her character.
And she's a qt.
>>91831212
Seriously.
Ashi clearly never learned about sex/relationships and who knows about Jack. How's it going to go when they first hook up in ep 7 or 8? Will they know what to do? Will it be awkward?
Just like real life Japanese, they wont ever have sex
>>91830794
Nobody teaches animals about sex but they manage
>they're totally banging in episode 6 guys!
>they're definitely hooking up in episode 7!!

>any second now, any second

two stupid dogs was a pioneer in sorta bringing cartoons back after decades of them being mindless and terrible
funny thing is it kept and even reused a lot of hanna barbera's shit from its shitty era, like secret squirrel, except.. they had fun with it and were smart. even the stupidity was smart
>>91830776
It and SSSS were the SHIT, and needs to be released.
>>91830776
Flapjack if you think about it.
>Superman and Batman have team up books for decades
>Luthor and Joker almost never team up
>they aren't even friends
What the fuck is wrong with DC writers?
>>91931408
It's kinda what's right with writers. While the novelty might be fun for a while Luthor's smug and Joker's crazy, and while both may smile, the whole team-up would be spent with them trying to out kek the other one.
tl;dr: no solid narrative.
DCAU's team up was fun
https://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=1ls0FC6oTV8
Lex Luthor is an egomaniac control freak and Joker lives to undermine people with sticks up their ass. Even as an odd couple thing it could only work in Brave and the Bold levels of cartoonish settings.
