The ending was the romantic development. It was literally the first step in them starting a relationship.

It wasn't a well-written ending, but I'm still glad they did it. Not doing it would have ended a boring series on a boring note.

I especially love how the previews of that Korra comic would have us believe there was romantic development to some of the few Korra/Asami interactions in the show, like "Remember when you let me drive? I totally wanted to eat your pussy right then and there!"

One summer, I binge watched the original with them so they are familiar with it. They got excited when they saw TTG! and then just stopped watching it. The oldest (9 at the time), besides me, said it was stupid and the younger ones who liked it, repeated the WAFFLES song over and over again (7 and 5). Eventually they grew out of it and now they watch Disney XD and Netflix for the cartoons instead since CN spams it so much.

I watched the episodes on YouTube recently, but I pretty much forgot everything almost instantly.

Honestly, Quads was way better. Pelswick didn't have a lot of the things that made the other show so interesting. But I guess explicit cripple jokes and alcoholism don't make for good kiddie show material.
