What do you think of this ship?
>>91753337
>the grandson of the demon and the daughter of a demon
Damian belongs to Jon.
Raven belongs to BB.
I don't really like that Raven is permanently aged down so that writers can keep their bookish high school goth waifu, personally. I'd like to see where she could go from there.
So this ship rubs me the wrong way for that reason since being a little brat that is simultaneously overmature and entirely immature is central to Damian's character.
Changing Valkyrie the way #marvel has is as bad as having a non olive skinned actor play Hercules. Or Aries, or Wonder Woman. Valkyrie is from Asgard and pulled from Norse mythology. I'd be just as furious if Fox casted anyone other than an African woman as Ororo. Some characters can do the ethnicity swap. And some it's just not compatible. As a reader I want and crave new and original characters. Despite Sony's abortion they called Fantastic Four having Michael B. Jordan play Sue's brother and having it be her adoptive brother (doesn't make him any less her bro) is an example of a compatible swap. Same with Sam L Jackson's Nick Fury. Of course it is the "movie-verse" and marvel and DC love the multiverse. And the bottom line is the bottom line.
It's not like the movies have anything to do with the comics anyway.
They already had Elba as Heimdall so they already established that this Asgard is multi ethnic. It is just gonna come down to whether she is good in the role or not.

Honest question, why dont western toons have sex jokes aa often as eastern ones?
Hell, Goku flashed his weiner a dozen time throughout Dragonball
Different cultures.
Because in the west we are blessed with the responsibility of walking the righteous path with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and dirty jokes are unbecoming of our strong christian morals.
Each culture has things they consider more inappropriate than others.
In the case of the west, it probably has to do with the influence of Christian values.
Norman's new look
...Why?

Anyone have the screencap of the Doug creator saying he meet Patty's inspiration after all thoseyears and she was married?
>>92091943
Did anyone get the feeling that Roger was the one being bullied? I mean yeah he was an asshole, but outside of his two dweeb friends everyone treated him like shit.
It's like watching Ed, Edd, and Eddy except Johnny is the protagonist.
>>92092357
I always got the impression Roger just wanted to be Doug's friend but Doug was too autistic to tell and interpreted it as being bullied
Can we have a BITCC thread?
I love me some evil bitch characters
>Tfw I got a thing for BITCC characters abusing children
Sigh
Umm GUYS? Is aishi going to be ok?
>>92091685
fun fact: if you look at the next synopsis, there is no mention of Ashi at all :^)
So how long till The Scottsman tries to get jack to impregnate his army of thicc daughters to create the ultimate evil-destroying bloodline?
>Ashi died when she fell off the cliff and Jack has been hallucinating her the entire time.
Why do I like the bitchy rich girls?
The pacifica anddiamond tiaraarchtype really turns me on...
>>92091452
Because you want to fuck your mom.
Prissiness means bitchiness but it also means:
self-care (cleanliness)
assertiveness (sexual dominance)
reduced amount of sexual partners (high standards)
So basically an attractive character who's likely to be a top in bed and who has a virginal/pure air about them.
I like stuck-up characters too. It's a fantasy. It's cute to think that their patrician facade is just a defense mechanism, and that it hides an inner tenderness or capacity for affection.

I dont know where to tell you to go back to because I don't know where people talk like that, but please go back there.
>Homeless man [suddenly blurts out]: “I enjoyed Watchmen.”
>Moore: “Did you?”
>Homeless man: “I loved it.”
>Moore: “Oh, that’s nice.”
>Homeless man: “You and… Gibbon?”
>Moore [Northampton accent suddenly stronger in anger]: “Dave Gibbons. Oi hope Oi never see that fucker for as long as Oi live. Oi don’t have a copy of the book in me ‘ouse, but Oi’m glad you got some pleasure out of it, mate.”
>Homeless man: “And The Killing Joke Batman, that is a belter.”
>Moore: “Well, I threw it out. But glad you liked it, man. Have a good day, won’t you.”
What the fuck is his problem?
He talks to himself, apparently.
>He's a literal anarchist
I get Moore's frustration with Gibbons trying to drag him into DC's Watchmen revival, but at least he's civil about it.
And Killing Joke has aged poorly.
Alright; I don't know how you silly anglos turned it into a slur, but out in the world Dago means ADVENTURE.
Created in 1983 by Paraguayan writer Robin Wood and Argentine artist Alberto Salinas for the Italian magazine Lanciostory, the story is set in the Mediterranean in the 1520s, where a Venetian nobleman is thrust into the lowest depths of the Ottoman empire, where he'll need to master cruelty and cunning to obtain freedom and ultimately revenge.
I'll be storytiming the first volume now, so stick around for an awesome ride.

Based. When I was a kid I used to read Dago on my dad's old D'Artagnan collection.
Time to read more of the Green Lantern/Green Arrow run by Dennis O'Neil.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was pretty fun back when I still had a Wii.

>not the one at their house which also had that mini game where you played hide and seek and had to race the person back to the playpen which always terrified me for some reason

It's Transformers: War For Cybertron.
Do you prefer the type of comic books you saw back in the day, or the newer type you get today?
>>92089361
I basically cannot read any comic with older style art.
DEPENDS ON THE ARTISTS
