10 years later, I still don't get the joke of this. Help a nigga out, guys.

watching a movie in a room filled with kids sucks, so they need to buy a video player they can keep at home.
>>92130871
She loved the movie so much she wants a video player now. It's funny because it's a kid movie and the kid didn't like it that much.

Wait a minuet. Those aren't /co/ crossovers...that's /tv/!
But how? The TV properties are not canon.
>repetition
I've been calling this one for awhile. Give it a couple of years after the shows collapse under their own Ike the Kike weight and Feige will scoop them up into films. Maybe soft reboot some of them that people like and are kinda disconnected and hard reboot ones like Iron Fist
So what the fuck is this guy doing? Is he going to become a regular part of DC now? Or are the writers just using him so they can shove their big blue cocks in everything without having to explain shit.
>>92129747
why the fuck do you think we have the answers to shit no one knows?
DC and Marvel are retard fodder. Why does anyone with half a brain or over the age of 13 care about weekly/monthly capeshit series?

Onion Ashi or Leaf Ashi?

No Ashi
Onion
I know Leaf is the rebirth or whatever metaphor but bitch needs a change of clothes already, she's just doesn't pull off the tinkerbelle look

She'll be wearing Jack's soon enough.
What is it about the Ninja Turtles that gives them such a lasting presence in society despite other shows that had a similar premise failing?
>>92129179
Their archnemesis was Uncle Phil.
masterful marketting and cross media promotion
Idk, has it really? Transformers has really done much better than TMNT if you look at the numbers and amount of media, TMNT is just more of a meme....it's not cute to buy Transformers merch from Hot Topic, just nerdy
That being said, perhaps you're not talking about toyetic 80s things and simply mutant animal things, if this is the case, because TMNT was the first and the best, things like Street Sharks, Biker Mice, and Extreme Dinosaurs were all pale impersonations that were based on nothing other than TMNT itself, while TMNT actually had a creative basis, lending itself to be endearing to people of different ages and endure

Would have this been a GOAT bd if it had someone else writing it than the still-living Graton?
I mean, the art, the concept and the characters are great, but the plot and the dialogues could be much better.
Imagine Goscinny or Charlier writing it for Graton. Would it be GOAT then?
The problem is that it's priggish to tell someone to fuck off from their own creation.
>>92128833
Can someone redpill me on this? I only recall seeing the tv show when I was a kid.
>>92128898
Hey, Morris let Goscinny do the writing about 10 years after Lucky Luke's debut, and it became GOAT
Is he the only genuinely comic book loving hollywood director? inb4 kevin 'shill' smith
>>92128820
>genuinely comic book loving
>ignores almost everything about GotG comics.
Sure, why not?
>>92128820
Why inb4 Kevin Smith? Kevin has worked in the comic industry, both as a writer and local shop owner, as well as having a TV program dedicated to comics. And I'm sure there are plenty of directors that enjoy reading comic books, but they just don't publicly broadcast it.
>>92129003
ain't a hollywood director anymore tho
When will we finally see Spiderman face this guy in a movie? He's literally made for it.
>>92128807
2021.
In the MCU.
The trade off is, he will be a vaguely middle eastern guy who is completely normal but is simply mysterious, it will all be treated as a metaphor but he will at one point in the movie gaze into a fish bowl, which is meant to pay homage to fans who will eat it up like it's the best thing ever
He will also be wearing green cargo pants and maybe have a dark purple sweater or something in one scene, and he's TOTALLY pissed at Tony Stark
OP here, I would also love to see a Kraven's last hunt homage but I think we need an adult Spiderman for that and a good amount of movies to lead into it.
Where were you when Slott saved Marvel?
>>92128785
Call me when that happens. Spock written by Slott sucks as everything he has done with Spider-Man
>>92128785
>When he got fired
Hasn't happened yet, so SHUT THE FUCK UP
>>92128785
Better idea, just kick Slott off Spider-Man and have him do a Doc Ock ongoing.
I hope she gets a fair amount of screentime in the Jungle Movie, she was my favorite growing up even as a side character.

I hope it's about Phoebe.
Rhonda is adorable
>Batman in high school
How did it go so right?
While I'm one of those assholes who picks at the way nearly all the villains are Spider-Man rogues analogs, it helps that you had alot of the TAS guys at the help and God bless them for taking a droll concept handed to them by the network (Batman in Highschool) and tried so hard not to pander to the lowest common denominator.
They gave us Terry rather than have a literally younger Bruce, whom they made into a tragic mentor, kept as much of a dark aesthetic as they could and while I have the above issue with the 'main' villains, alot of the newer ones were not limited by the serialized storytelling of the comics and thus more than a few of them met some very gruesome ends.
...That being said, I really feel that Kids WB still managed to fuck around with this show. Derek Powers never really *amounted* to much as a main villain; the early shows all centered around him trying to cure his condition but then he gets outed and that's that. Maybe the WB ruined whatever plans they had there but when a Beyond episode was bad, it was *really* bad. The Egg baby episode, primarily, seems like it was a crap idea handed to them by some exec from up top.
I also felt this was when the TImm/Dini DCAU shows really started doubling down on "any victim of an accident becomes a supervillain," situations that seemed lime a big middle finger towards Marvel.

>The Egg baby episode, primarily, seems like it was a crap idea handed to them by some exec from up top.
Are you serious? That episode was over the top ridiculous and fantastic for it. It's poking fun at its own premise the whole way through. Not to mention all of the lines.

You can't save something that was doomed from the start.
