Surprisingly these posters are different people
Can anyone point me toward a current run of /co/ related media where someone is just an actual hero? A character that's just doing right, and inspiring hope.
Everything seems to just be showing some kind of shitty side to every character to make them more "real." I need some hope... because that's what heroes are supposed to inspire.

would've a bionicle tv show work?

No, because nostalgia aside, Bionicle wasn't very good.

I'm glad they were able to set aside their differences and become a gay night club together.
Kara didn't take it very well, though.
Kaliac vs Lexiac when?

All hail Superman!
I hope the Superman ending is canon, if only because with the Batman ending all that really happened was Kara arrived and Clark got moved to the Phantom Zone, it just feels like filler
I just finished Kingsman, and I'm in a spy mood.
Are there any good spy comics?
read Human Target by Milligan, Kot's Zero, Who is Jake Ellis? Edmonson's Black Widow, Fury MAX

good choices
also ellis bond is based
I'd add Velvet to the list. Been on hiatus for a while, though.
If Aku can manipulate time, why doesn't he just go back and stop Jack from being born?
Better yet, why doesn't he just go back to when the ancient satanmonster was fighting the gods and rejoin up with his master/himself?
The time portal magic made his throat hurt for a WHOLE WEEK.
It's not worth it.

>If Aku can manipulate time, why doesn't he just go back and stop Jack from being born?
Maybe it's not worth risking everything he's built in the future. Fucking too much with time travel can be dangerous.
did you watch seasons 1-4?
he still exists in a linear manner. he was incapacitated before jack was born. i dont think he can time travel, himself, hes never shown the ability to transport anyone but jack. time traveling himself could cause serious issues? if he sent an assassin back in time, jacks dad would murder their ass.
also this show makes no sense anyway.
Why do I feel like we're missing something?
Yeah, yeah...Dr. Manhattan is the bad guy...blah blah
But what happened to the other two?
Dr. Manhattan was crazy powerful in Watchmen. But altering and manipulating reality and timelines? That's something I would expect only something like The Empty Hand/Ultra to pull off.
And what happened to the Captain Atom of Earth 4. Did he really get a black hole to the brain or is he alive? Is the Watchmen universe going to replace Earth 4 or what?
My theory is that Empty Hand is the real villain, representing editorially mandated reboots and relaunches.
Manhattan took ten years from the DCU to spare them from another reboot or Crisis.
Manhattan now offs anyone who gets too close to learning of the timeline alteration.
The payoff of all this will be the DCU rejecting the Empty Hand and embracing their full history.
If the Charlton heroes(Blue Beetle, Captain Atom, Peacemaker, Question etc.) don't play an important part in the Rebirth finale vs Manhattan I'm gonna feel gypped
>>92452136
>What about Empty Hand
He is behind all evil and destruction in the DC Universe. He is the receptive, stagnant force inside everyone that just wants to live vicariously through comic book adventures and get bored when the story is over. He is comics as a narcotic to shield from reality as opposed to comics as a creative idea-expanding force.
Only YOU can fight him. Are you fighting him?
>Captain Atom
The theory is that he was black holed into Final Crisis where he helped Superman save the multiverse.
>Dr. Manhattan's power boost
No one knows why he's suddenly so fucking powerful. We hope it's going to be something more than "lol he was always this powerful he just had to really try". That would suck ass.
A smart solution would be to say he's using Johnny Thunder's genie Thunderbolt as a power source. Thunderbolt as a 5 D imp really is powerful enough to pull off the stuff Dr. M has been doing.
>>92452308
I hope that it'll just be implied Empty Hand is behind it all. He works better as a distant force embodied through his agents than something that actually appears before characters.
I like it being implied he's the one behind Eternity being in chains over at Marvel.

you're a faggot for using /r9k/ terminology, but The Punisher is the coolest guy in comics regardless

>>92451189
It's pretty weird, and I blame the larger episode order for season two for making Avalon so unbearable.
The season finale was nice, though.
>>92451189
This was done in part because of Eisner's 65 episode rule. They knew it was going to hit the episode limit so they just told the gargoyles team to make a longer second season. All things considered it had more good episodes than bad so it wasn't a total waste. They didn't want that big of a gap or quality to go down.
But it was too good and people wanted more, thus they made a 'new series' in the Goliath Cronicles. Which a lot of the art and story quality suffered. That was a bad call. It ended a great show on a real sour note.
>>92451189
The beginning of Season 2 before Avalon was GOAT. Season 1 was a bit rocky, but still very good. I didn't mind the world tour, but Elisa, Goliath, and Angela are awfully boring characters just by themselves.
What happened to this?
>>92450921
It got canned by CN but a dedicated group of fans are working together to bring it back and are even making new content with it too, pretty neat, look it up. You would've known if you fucking spent a minute and googled it.

Probably the greatest thing to exist, until CN ruined it. They changed the game worse then club penguin, man o man!
