Michael Davis, one of the founders of Milestone, just put up a piece explaining why he believes that the Milestone imprint is now dead. I'm going to skip the first part, which is basically him venting about old DC, as well as parts of the second part, which is largely conspiracy theories on how DC doesn't need Milestone for it's diversity push these days, to quote more factual material. The full article is here if you care to read it:

>2015

>Milestone 2.1 announced to the world. Milestone is back! One of if not the biggest comic book stories of 2015.

>I find out on that day I was no longer a part of it.

>Since then, little has been heard. No press, interviews and no books.

>I have no knowledge of the inner workings at DC or Milestone, nor has anyone at DC or Milestone ever told me ‘why’ I was excluded.

>That said, here’s my two-cent conclusion.

>Milestone 2.0, in my opinion, is dead for four reasons.

>Except for Denys Cowan, comics are not a priority for the partners. One partner runs a filmed entertainment empire, the other oversees a mainstream financial news publishing juggernaut. You think making comics is more important than interviewing the head of the Federal Reserve or producing the most famous award show in the world? Of the four of us, only Denys and I would answer yes.Comics is where we live and dream and have all our lives. Denys and I were more than just fans of comics we chose that as our life’s work and pursued it. There’s a massive difference between the other M2.0 founders and us.That’s not a dig, that’s a fact.

>The second reason Milestone is dead and why I wrote the events of 20 plus years ago is corporate bullshit like what happened to me. Someone at DC or Milestone is holding fast to a way of doing things and because of such everything stops until the problem is resolved or made to go away.Who do I think is holding up the deal by insisting things get done a specific way? Looking at the playing field, it’s obvious DC does not need Milestone that’s a fact. So much of the fact that DC just announced another push into diversity with Dark Matter. And the way they are doing it is gangsta.I may be wrong, but DC seems to be going after that diversity dollar with a wee bit of help from those who have come before and know how to do it.
>>
>Milestone has no infrastructure. There’s no central hub no office no staff. Two of the partners have nice big spaces they work from, with employees but the work done there isn’t Milestone unless something has changed since I was involved. Also, one guy is doing movies; another guy is running a magazine, and he’s doing that from New York. DC is in Los Angeles, so any face to face must wait until they are all available.Denys Cowan’s is the only person whose business is creating comics, but with no central Milestone infrastructure behind him and his partner’s crazy schedules, there is no way in Hell he can do all that needs to get the deal done by himself.

>January 2018 will mark three years since DC and Milestone made that historic announcement. That’s a long time, right? No. Not really. Not if you’re making movies and putting out magazines. But to the fans?

>It’s a fucking eternity.

>It’s also not correct. Milestone 2.0 formed in Feb 2011. The first meeting with DC was a few weeks after that.

>January 2018 will mark SEVEN years since DC and Milestone had their first meeting. My thoughts on why Milestone is dead is conjecture. Those dates are real, and yes that’s a long time.

>But to the fans?

>It’s a fuck you.

>I don’t think any Milestone partners feel like that. But with silence from Milestone, it may seem so. I haven’t talked to Denys, but I know this is killing him.

>Hell, it’s killing me.

>The fourth reason I think Milestone is dead can also be the reason they don’t have to be.But that will have to wait until next time.

So since things didn't go over well with Babs, can we assume this Dick went to Starfire?

I want suggestions of any comic book where they include an either gay or bi male character who's either a casual crossdresser or at the very least wears feminine clothes. But NOT a transgender.

The story doesn't need to be about the character, or any of these traits I described for the character. Just preferrably something not too grounded in reality, but I am open for suggestions.

That's it, really. And for those who have seen similar posts of mine in the past - I'm doing this once more because I want to try not to diss any suggestions this time, but just taking anything in people throw out and give it a fair shot. I really do think ANY suggestion is better than no suggestions.

It helps girls with no personality get into the movies.

Which causes a chain reaction inside of them to manifest or develop their own. Once this happens their personality has about 60% chance of being something close to what you're talking about now, the other 40% is being neutral as if they do not choose such a personality they become enriched by the want of having a personality which causes the chain reaction of becoming the quirky girl who likes art and the like, I.E your average tumblrite/deviant artist.

May 17 Digital Sales.jpg
20KB, 265x419px
The digital sales are once again pretty close and more or less heralded this outcome.

>Incredible sales for DC books this week resulted in DC taking the top nine spots in our store, followed by Secret Empire #2 in tenth place. The biggest disappointment was the very poor performance of Generation X #1 and Luke Cage #1, with both titles barely cracking our store’s Top Twenty. Star Wars sales continue to flatten as well, leaving Marvel struggling for a winning book.

>Affordably priced Marvel and DC books from the 80s and 90s remain popular; readers can get solid storytelling and art for about the same price as a new comic today.

—-

>The Button closes out at Famous Faces by continuing the trend of the previous issues and absolutely CRUSHING everything else that came out this week. Flash 22 sold more issues than the next three top sellers combined and outsold the top selling Marvel book six times over.

>The first Marvel book in the Top Sellers is Secret Empire at #11, immediately followed by X-Men Gold at #12. Secret Empire has already begun to lose reader’s interest. It has already dropped almost ten spots in our Top Sellers and it only just started. I don’t see it selling much better for 8 more issues. X-Men Gold is still doing relatively well and should keep healthy numbers as long as the title maintains a sense of direction that all of the X-Series post-AVX have lacked.
>>
>On the Indie side of things, after God Country at #5, Image’s Curse Words and Aftershock’s Animosity round out the Top Twenty at #19 & #20 respectively. Curse Words has done well and we’ve been pushing it since issue #1. Animosity is usually in the Top Ten, so it’s kind of (after)shocking to see it so low on the list, but a lot of the copies we sell are to customers with pulls who haven’t stopped by this week. We are excited to hear Donny Cates hinting at working for Marvel later this year and early next year, so we expect to see that boost up our Marvel sales quite a bit. That guy is on fire. We can’t wait for Babyteeth and somehow every issue of God Country is even better than the last.

>On the back issue side of things, we’ve still been selling a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy and related titles like Rocket and Groot and Starlord (by Humphries). We’ve also sold a noticeable amount of various Wildstorm titles from the first relaunch in the mid 2000s. On top of this we continue to sell early Rebirths issues as well as older Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men, Walking Dead, Spawn, and some 1990’s Superman.

—–

>FLASH #22 unsurprisingly ran circles around everything else, outperforming maybe the best single issue of the year to date, BATMAN #23. It takes a Batman tie-in to unseat Batman, weirdly enough. Secret Empire is lagging way behind at #9, most people just aren’t into it. Marvel’s downward sales have had a measurable impact on our shop at this point, and I don’t know if they’re really ready to understand why sales are bad or do what it’ll take to fix it. Just waiting it out at this point.

>Anything with Adam Warlock in it is going nuts, especially Jim Starlin related issues. On the DC side, early jason Todd and Tim Drake stories and Watchmen singles have had strong showings.

-
>>
>Not a bad week. I thought with Wizard World coming into town this weekend people would try to save their money for it and spend less here. Flash 22’s 3D cover of course was the number one selling title.

—–

>Secret Empire #2 was our top seller this week, with very little drop-off from #1, possibly because of that reveal at the end. I’m interested to see how Nick Spencer has written himself out of the “this is the real Steve Rogers” trap, and a lot of readers seem to feel the same way. American Gods continues to sell well, still drawing interest from novel readers/tv show viewers that otherwise might not pick up a comic. The Star Wars Poe Dameron comic also did well this week, which, honestly, is always worth picking up to look at Oscar Isaac’s likeness for a while.

—–

>It came as no surprise that DC dominated sales this week, with the final chapter in “the button” storyline in Flash #22.
God Country continues to gain fans, with reprints of the first 3 issues out selling most Marvel titles this week. Secret Empire has gained a little traction, but most customers still talk about it as gimmick instead of a cross-over. The “best of the rest” from Marvel, included Deadpool Punisher and Generation X barely missing the top 10.

>Other indie books from Image, Boom and Valiant did well this week, but not good enough to crack the top 10. But as readership picks up on those titles, and customers depart from Marvel titles, I expect we will be seeing more of those indies making it on thelist.

>Copper age back issue continue to be strong, and recent “hot book” back issues (within the last few months) also continue to be strong sellers. Silver age books have seen a slight slow down, with the exception of anything Kirby. Kirby books have seen an increase this past week, especially moderately priced series like Kamandi and New Gods.

Think about it, if he killed Aku in the future, Ashi wouldn't be dead, all those people he saved during theese years would be still there, now all of them doesn't exist anymore, and maybe they will not born either. The tree was the only thing that he know for sure that was still there in the future, so that means he miss the future.
And what about the aging process? Will he grow up? Or will he become an immortal man who lives for thousands years and Ghost Jack will appear again because all the people he loved died, and will he finally commit sudoku?

(I apologise for my bad english)
