most of it
Can anyone explain how the time paradox from killing Aku erased Ashi from existence but not Jack? I mean if Jack kills past Aku, there isn't a future Aku for Jack to fight for over 50 years. Wouldn't the only Jack that still exist be the past Jack that past Aku just sent into the future? Only difference being, his journey would be much easier without the hitmen, Aku or anyone contesting the time portals.
The only possible explanation would be that Aku comes back eventually and kills future Jack for good in the past after coming from the future. He has his reign of terror for thousands of years and eventually the young Jack that was sent to the future fights Aku all over again.
But that's fucking retarded so let's just accept that Genndy is a hack and move on.

>Aku sends Jack into the far future
>"Aku" sends Jack back a few moments after he initially left
>They cancel each other out
>Aku only sent Jack a few seconds into the future
>Also why Jack hasn't aged

Hey, I've never thought of time travel like this before.
Which ending was worse?
for me, pic related

SAMURAI JACK FINALE WAS WORSE!

We're not hivemind, faggot.
For me it was back when I was a kid in 1999 with Cartoon Network playing in the background, a commercial popped up for CN featuring it's newer and upcoming shows and on the tv was Genndy telling how he story was about a warrior sent a million years into the future by a shapeshifting demon and the cartoon was going to focus on him trying to get back to the past, all this while showing an animation of Jack riding a horse alon a mountainside.
>>92588509
I watched the premiere at my grandparents house and I kept watching it ever since. Jack gives me so much nostalgia because of how ingrained into my childhood it was that I really can't hate on the lackluster finaleespecially because said grandparents passed away recently. It hit me really hard how both of these staples of my childhood are gone around the same time.

hopes you feel better man
for me, I started watching around 2000 in Taiwan (ESL who lived in Taiwan for 10 years), and my first episode was the first episode of the first season.
Didn't have CN as a kid at the right time, was aware of it and saw parts of it at friends' houses. Wasn't interested.
Heard S5 was good, went and watched some original eps (first 3, mad jack, scotsman, guardian) then watched S5.
Gotta say I hated the fight animation in the early eps, it was fucking amazing in 5.
>killing aku means that the people in the future will not exist! Reeeeeeeeee!!!
It just means that they will be different people, if you pay attention, besides armies of destruction and evil monsters and robots, there is nothing in the future that says that Aku had anything to do with the family of the scottsman existing, or the monkeys that jump good, or the 3000 men, etc.
A lot of characters seemed to live isolated from the things that Aku did

Saw it on an advance screening here in São Paulo, Brazil yesterday.
I really think that /co/ is gonna like it too.At least the non-/pol/ users
>>92580008
care to elaborate without spoilers? I'm kinda excited and I couldn't be for a long time when it comes to cape movies. Also everyone says that third act is bad, or at least has problems. How so?
>God you're pretentious
He talks a whole lot of shit for being a rapist
But he's not a pretentious rapist.
>new family guy
into the trash it goes
>that one episode where he fucks an underaged girl but doesn't have to go to jail because his mother fucks the judge
BRAVO FAMILY GUY

I never really liked Samurai Jack as a whole, from season one to season five. So I pretty much have no real strong feeling one way or another about /co/s reaction to it, from its revival to its conclusion.
I really liked Maleficent.
Yeah, it's not great or anything, but it was competently made, the silliness sprinkled throughout gives it sort of goofy charm, and the stuff they added was interesting. Plus, the twist on true love was really nice, since it's honestly an important lesson that true love is not necessarily romantic in nature. Though I doubt that stops the shippers, the filthy savages.
Oh, and Angelina Jolie was clearly enjoying herself, which makes her enjoyable to watch. And Aurora was cute.
I highly disliked season 5.
I really liked the ending.

DC Newfag here, with the debut of Teen Titans: Judas Contract, are these two a canon couple again? Or is it just in the universe in which the movie takes place?
>>92603384
It's just the movie.
>>92603934
Do the movies have their own stand alone universe, or is each movie not connected to the other ones?
>>92604197
The recent ones are part of a New 52 universe I think.
But it still ended better than Legend of Korra. Especially with the lack of tumblr or SJW pandering.
>>92603099
Hmm, You have a point.
Hell, the Scotsman even offered Jack one of hid daughters. That's about as anti-SJW as iy gets.
>>92603115
and is even more based for doing so
>>92603099
True. It definitely wasn't as shit as LoK but it's an objective fact that this was a disappointment.
