Geez, where are all of the junket-whore reviews that gave glowing marks for the film?

Fake but that would still make it the second best DCEU movie.

https://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2017/05/the-real-reasons-for-marvel-comics-woes/527127/
A pretty insightful article detailing what the fuck is going with Marvel.
>The uncertainties of the direct market are something all comics companies have to navigate, and sales gimmicks like collectible “variant” covers and special, higher-priced issues are common. Big publishers like DC and Image enthusiastically take part in these gimmicks. But Marvel pursues them at a level that puts other publishers to shame. Their primary trick is the consistent (and damaging) strategy of relaunching books with #1 issues or titles.
>In 2013, for example, the writer Al Ewing began working on Mighty Avengers, focusing on a team of community-oriented superheroes led by Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. Fourteen issues later, Marvel relaunched it with a new #1 as Captain America and the Mighty Avengers, then canceled it nine issues in. In 2015, Ewing began writing both New Avengers and Ultimates, which followed characters from Mighty Avengers. Marvel relaunched both a year later—again with new #1s—as Ultimates 2 and USAvengers. Sound complicated? It gets worse: The 2013 Mighty Avengers was the third series to use the title; the 2015 Ultimates was the seventh. Both are unrelated to previous series. Such a publishing scheme is convoluted even for a committed fan; for a new reader, it’s nearly impenetrable.
This isn't news to anyone on this board.

What does Marvel Studios have against tall people?
>>92659494
Because rich, hot /tallgirls/ tend to go into sports

>What does Marvel Studios have against tall people?
Film makers prefer short actors because it's easier to block scenes and cast around them than tall ones. Do you know why Michael Clarke Duncan was cast as Wilson Fisk? Because he was the only actor they could find that had a modicum of talent but was still big enough to look bigger on camera than the 6′ 4″ Ben Affleck.
When you cast a tall guy as your hero, it's a struggle to find a love interest that doesn't look like a loli or a villain that doesn't look pathetic and nonthreatening next to him. It's much easier and more effective to shoot a small guy taller than a big guy small.
Or wait is this a console war shitpost thread? Something about mice!
God, another Carol thread. This is becoming a bad parody.

What is your history with Jetix?
Used to watch Digimon and Spiderman reruns on there
>Used to be Fox Kids in the Netherlands
>They changed it to Jetix for a short while and mostly showed dubbed anime and action cartoons, with all the toddler stuff shoved in morning hours and late afternoons
It was shit and made me hate cartoons.
>tfw there will never be a 4th season of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!
What caused the show to get cancelled anyway?
is this series worth a watch? Happened to see it on itunes but wanted an opinion before buying
The Superman meeting Batman episodes were the high point and what Batman vs Superman should have fucking been.
>>92657513
It's not as good as Batman TASand debatable as to whether it's as good as Beyondbut it's got choice moments and its particular brand of art style became the norm for other DC cartoons for almost a decade.
My favorite episode is when Superman comes back from "death" and the first time he goes to visit Lex to warn him about him being the hero again, Lex breaks out some gauntlets and beats the fucking shit out of him before saying "Welcome back, Superman."
I think it's pretty good.
The guy who voiced Parasite kinda sounded like Norm Macdonald, so that's pretty fun.
