Opening night in the UK, just got back from Wonder Woman.
It was fucking great.
Paradise Island was beautiful, and Diana growing up was both sweet and well done, and some of those Amazons looked sexy as fuck.
I like how the history of the Gods was done in a 'story' to young Diana, and the unreliable narrator part of it plays into the plot later, and will be interesting in the wider plot of the DCEU, since we more or less know Zeus didn't really create humanity/life.
The weight of the suffering that was going on was really well done, dare I say better than was shown in a certain other war based cape film, and Diana's desperation to help and Steve's helpless inability to see how they could made it all the more powerful.
The CGI was fine, as most of the action moved far too fast for to be noticable, even on the big screen. You'll have to freeze frame and look closely to even find most of it on the Blu-Ray.
I also like the implication towards the end that Diana may not quite have 'quit' the world with WW1. Perhaps a sequel in WW2 or another conflict.
I also liked Ares, and his method of getting armored for a fight. Fuck conventional armor.
...the only minor concern was that, despite being great, there were maybe 30 people in the screening with me at 7pm. On opening night. It was sweet to see several mums bringing their daughters to see it though, slightly warmed this chilled and jaded heart.

Literally all i have to do to not die according to Superman is not hate him. He's fucking Superman and he has saved more lives in this scenario than pretty much anyone else and has alleviated the almost constant state of paranoia citizens were forced to live under because of the infantile no kill policy.
