What went so right then somehow managed to get completely fuck up?
>>93036414
>What went so right
I don't remember that.
The same thing that happens to all comics eventually: it didn't fucking end.
>>93036414
Well what did go so right? I've never read this.
Would you watch her show if it was picked up?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcchrgJgryo
>>93035715
It would break up the monotony. So yeah, I would. It's my kind of cartoon by the looks of it. Totally weird but in a good way.
>TFW the nerd waifus Becky before you could
>>93035715
That was pretty good, I hope it gets picked.
>>93035715
Probably, I don't have much to do that isn't reading autobiographies from obscure proxy wars
>The Flintstones gets completely snubbed at Eisner's
>Mockingbird gets nominated for Best New Series
What did they mean by this?
Political agenda shit beats out actually decent comics to people who don't read comics in the first place.
>>93035546
Flintstones is like five times the political agenda but written five times as well!
>>93035578
>five times the political agenda
I think you'll find that Flintstones is an 8 on the Agenda scale and Mockingbird is a solid 37
RETARDED BULLSHIT that NEVER should have been allowed to happen

I SAID PERFECT GODDAMNIT
Characters NO ONE remembers
>>93033857
Damn, dude, are you trying to meme them back into canon?
Anyway, the Anti-Green Lantern Corps.
>Qwardians equipped with knock-off power rings
>fire concentrated Anti-matter that flat-out kills if it overwhelms GL defenses
>surgically altered for greater willpower at the expense of intelligence
>can't recharge their rings, die after 24 hours
What does /co/ think of Seduction of the Innocent and the controversy that surrounded it including the creation of the Comics Code Authority?
>>93033464
Looking at Marvel now I would have to say this book was prophetic
Literally killed the medium
>>93033464
>comic fans and creators are degenerates into bondage, mind control, hypnosis, transformation, size changes, skintight latex, and harems
Wertham did nothing wrong.
New episode of iZombie tonight at 9
Return of the Dead Guy
>Peyton and Liv find themselves on a surprising wild goose chase.
woot, we back to led brains tonight
Alright let's do this.
>>93032722
Link to a stream? Yanks and damn Boston are playing tonight over here.
Which golden age heroes would work out in the Snyderverse?
>>93032680
Snyderverse no more, it's all Johns now baby
Do the JSA on Earth-2 to avoid continuity errors, then have a small crisis to merge them and just not worry about figuring out Continuity changes
>>93032680
I think Justice society lends itself more to Hollywood's style, actually. Less of the actors have to wear masks so you get to see their faces more, actors love that shit, they want more easy recognition, that's why a lot of actors generally avoided superhero movies in the past.
I'd make Justice society a separate thing from Snyder-verse and merge it in a mini-crisis like >>93034380 said. That would be the best way to handle it. Just something small like supervillains finding a hole the terrorize both universes and they fix it by combining worlds and then beating up the bad guy so he can't retreat to the other universe, or something.
>>93032680
I like the post Crisis version of the JSA being the 40's era heroes.
BvS did sort of establish that there have been superpowered people doing their thing before Superman came along.
Maybe Dr Fate and Alan Scott, possibly Starman can fit in there somewhere without causing too many issues. You could even have them teaming up with Wonder Woman at some point in the late 40's or early 50's
How come Nickelodeon never fired the guys behind this? If Twitter existed at the time, parents would have been calling for their heads.
What the fuck?
Daily reminder it will never be explained how the lead voice actress of the first few seasons of South Park got a military grade shotgun before blowing her head off from the neck up. Not only thought, by why she did it while standing over Christmas presents

They wouldnt have the balls.
>one of the most well-known Batman villains or even comic book characters
>barely has any good comics
but why?
he's kinda hard to write for
Because it takes wit to write a good riddle. Much like there are rarely any good Etrigans.
He should have remained a P.I. and eventually butted heads with the Question.
>>93031784
As the other guys above said blame his gimmick, it's hard to write for and even harder to get a compelling story that is at the level of other great Batman villains.
>claims to be a Wonder Woman fan
>hates Steve Trevor
Why is Kate Leth so awful?
Anyone have that "I am a massive Hellcat fan. I do not read Hellcat." edit that perfectly encapsulates her fan replies when her book was cancelled?

Anyone remember this show?
I thought it was pretty gud
>>93030737
Sadly overlooked cartoon. Gone before its time. It's genuinely funny and full of great music; one of the best theme songs ever.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Rw46JSbbJI
>>93030737
Every cartoon on cartoon network from 2005-2008ish was forgettable except for a few exceptions like camp lazlo.

Kingpin's operation coming unraveled in DDS1 can only be described as Justice Porn.
>>93030700
Matt getting his shit kicked out by Kingpin in DDS2 is another kind of porn, because at that point I was tired of Matt's stupid bullshit.
Was it really that hard to tell Foggy that Elektra returned and is some kind of super ninja and asked his help to stop a super criminal organization? Was it Matt?!
>>93030662
Benson was a very sympathetic character at times, but it didn't make him a saint. There were indeed times when he pushed his no-nonsense, yardstick slapping shtick too hard, and here, he got some pretty sweet comeuppance for it.
