Would you?
I'm pretty sure by the time that short takes place I would have to or else be charged with a hate crime.
Which show is this from?
>>93137369
It's from a TMNT short
So I finished reading Miracleman, and I loved it.
One part I didn't understand, so could somebody please explain it to me?
What was up with the weird subplot of a miracleman travelling back in time to fight himself in order to "gather energy" for his battle with Kid Miracleman? That never seemed to become relevant

>What was up with the weird subplot of a miracleman travelling back in time to fight himself in order to "gather energy" for his battle with Kid Miracleman? That never seemed to become relevant
That's probably not something Moore wrote because I never saw it in the actual book.
>>93137105
It was definitely there
>>93137145
Moore didn't write it, I know that much.
What's Cartoon Network gonna do for it's 25th birthday?
The same thing they did to celebrate Regular Show's finale, an all day TTG marathon
Teen Titans Go marathon.
A TTG marathon
>denial
>anger
>bargaining
>depression
>acceptance
depression hereWill she ever come back?
>>93136724
everything except acceptance at varying intervals.
I think I let myself get too attached to her character, I remember how bubbly I felt when she was onscreen, and now it's tainted
>>93136724
Started at Acceptance and never looked back. Her fate was sealed either way, so what's the point of caring?
>>93136724
fuck off
This movie was TRIGGER WARNING after TRIGGER WARNING.
I was at a party where people were watching the western GITS movie (no one else there had even watched the animu for reference) and the only thing I can think of is how whenever Western movies try to adapt source material they always have to add some kind of "flavor" to it in order to make it unique.
Why does this happen every time? I always think of anime adaptations for manga, video games, etc. and they're always about 85% true to the source.
Is it that Westerners feel like they have to make it "their own", or because the market for faithful adaptations is perceived as smaller in the US.
>>93136649
>Is it that Westerners feel like they have to make it "their own", or because the market for faithful adaptations is perceived as smaller in the US.
Wrong board for this, but it's because hollywood execs are fucking retarded. They think because they lucked into money and belong to an elite that they know better, so even if a movie has something good going for it, they will fuck it up or inject their shitty fucking ideas into it.
It's true for marvel movies too, but Disney at least doesn't touch Gunn because of his work with the gaurdians.
>>93136649
>Is it that Westerners feel like they have to make it "their own"
There's always if it is exactly the same as the original then why even have the adaptation if you can get the exact same as the original.
>>93136668
I guess it IS the wrong board, but like you said the underlying idea of altering source material beyond recognition isn't exclusive to animu and mango.
>>93136687
I get that, but then why are relatively faithful anime adaptations often popular. Dragonball and Jojo are what comes to mind immediately for me. Especially the newest version for the latter because at this point every weeb out there has some knowledge of what happens in Jojo. I can understand slight differences, but complete alterations? The GITS movie was like remaking Star Wars starring Lucky Starkiller and the Resistance against Dark Xanadu of the Universal Federation.
Uhh... What?
>>93136305
So, is Cheetah coming to rrough them up?
>>93136305
Are... are they about to be swarmed by a herd of female attack-pumas?
>>93136305
The retarded autists over at Reddit has had enough of being the joke of the internet and decided to put their PUA skills into armed terrorism. What's there not to understand?
Thoughts on their partnership? All otp fagging aside, it's cool to see them not calling each other dweeb every five seconds. I think I like this version of them as kids the most.
>Actually get along
>Banter feds off one another
>Actually learn lessons from one another's mistakes
> That whole best cuzzies thing was adorable.
Does anyone else enjoy less fighting?
It's cool. They need some bants because that's what cousins do. But I like them getting along.
>>93136129
the constant bickering was one of the biggest flaws of the original
Alien Force got rid of it at the expense of the characters becoming bland
So I can say that this is at least one thing the reboot did better than the original
It's pretty cool.
They're nothing unusual going on between the two of them.
>Hero has to work with a villain
>I guess villain will join the group of friends and become tame like the others
>"Nope, more evil than ever if anything"
Does killing guys sent to assassinate you make you that evil?
>>93135692
He's really not hiding that he's enjoying it. He shot the first one before he even heard they were assassins.
>No more hand slippin'!
>Then what shall slip next?
What did they mean by this?
Venture Bros. > Archer
And?
I can't imagine many people on this board, or really anywhere that would dispute that.
Only a troll would argue that Archer is better
>>93135410
Uh Duuuuuuuuhhhhhhh
ITT jojo references in cartoons/comics
>>93135217

>>93135224

>>93135009

Marve make stupid bad cavepainting everyone hate
Me do admit Marble has better Campfire dance stories
Will he make it to 100?
His parents both lived to 108, so maybe.
hell be fine
good thread
is this the worst king of the hill episode
Fuck no, that's from the good seasons.
Anything after season 10 is far worse.
DANCE LIKE THE WOMAN IN YOUR MOVIES
>>93133508
Any Peggy centric episode is the worst, but edumacating lucky might be the worst because of how selfish and rage inducing she is
>"I don't get it, what's so funny?"
This is /co/.
How was the movie?
Want to see it because I read the shit out the series as a kid, but I didn't particularly like the "adult voices in kids" and even the "changed funny sign doesn't use the same letters as the original line". That might sound anal, but it's a key part of the joke.
>>93134519
>changed funny sign doesn't use the same letters as the original line
Are you serious?
>>93134519
The voices are easy to get over, if you liked the books you will like the film, if you like funny animation you will REALLY like the film.
Your post Secret Empire Avengers team line up hopes & ideas?
Hoping Thor, Wanda & Vision stick together after being turned villainous. The 3 of the set out to redeem themselves.
Panther & Sunspot can be science bros and it seems likely Ultimates & USAvengers may end around that time.
Smasher I just really want her sexy ass to get used.
If I had a choice of artist I would go with Marco Checchetto & Stefano Caselli alternating like they did on Secret Avengers.
>>93132136
>Secret Avengers
My bad, Avengers World.
ALSO what writer would you like to remove Waid & Spencer's bitch assess from power?
>>93132136
If Sunspot is on the team, here's hoping they put Ewing on writing duty. It's about time they made him the headliner.
