Bendy.
>Make a cartoon based on Rubberhose animation
>Do it in 3D, with stiff and limited character animation

Which one of them is a robot?
I'VE FOUND YOU, FAKER!
Steven Universe is so amazing and anyone who hates it is a fucking retard. Same with Adventure Time. You have to love both of these fucking shows! They are so good! They are perfect shows. They have the best stories and the stories have the perfect pacing. Avatar had brilliant storytelling and these two managed to top it. The animation is beautiful. If you don't like these shows then get the fuck out of here. These two shows are hugely popular and no one needs you if you don't like them

SU > AT > ATLA > B:TAS >>> TLH >>>>>> SVTFOE
>>93249947
>AT S1-2 > ATLA > SvtFoE >AT the rest > Gumball > We Bare Bears > TLH > SU
FTFY
No idea why Batman was in here that show isn't even close to recent and if we're talking all time you'd have to be fucking retarded not to include a myriad of other great cartoons.
>>93249887
I still like SU but it's got a lot of flaws. Still if you're expecting /co/ to agree with you, you'd be better off trying to find gold in a tree.

Erik may know how to build a house but doing it from a distance without seeing the details of where he is putting the materials was annoying as fuck.
>>93249286
Every time Apocalypse would switch bodies he'd keep the powers of the mutant vessel he inhabited.
So he probably bodyjacked a mutant architect at some point
Trial and error, lots of patience.
Does continuity and lore make a cartoon inherently better?
Should all future cartoons follow this route?
if done right, yes.
if you're steven universe, no.
>>93249268
You tell me.
networks want episodic stories so they dont have to care about th schelude or the order of the episodes.
conitunuity heavy cartoons are like big movies split in small separate parts, it keeps wanting you more.
now everyone can play cartoons on their phones, networks dont really matter.
>Spiderman, Spiderman Does whatever a spider can, except create organic web, which are superior (if you disagree you're a pleb)
>Look out, here comes the "Spiderman"
>Hasn't died from cancer even though he's got radioactive blood, Spider-"man"? He's just a boy
>Hey, there! There goes the Spiderman
>And the shills will defend the mouse from his crime, ruining decent marvel character every single time
>Spiderman, Spiderman Friendly neighborhood, Spiderman, Wealth and fame, he inherited from stepdad Stark, web shooters and suit? Also from Stark, Look out, here comes the Spiderman
>Robert Downey Jr Presents Disney's IronMan 4 featuring not so spider boy
>Spider-Man, Spider-man, Where's uncle ben? He died 9/11, he's also black like Mary Jane
Organic web is gay.
>>93248922
This doesn't even rhyme, you hack. As expect of an organic web lover.
>Spider-Man, Spider-man, Where's uncle ben? He died 9/11, he's also black like Mary Jane
Stop these retarded memes
So when it comes to Batman and Superman, where does Earth 2 end as the main continuity and where does Earth 1 begin?
It's not really a hard science. Circa 1954 is when they made the switch.
>>93249394
It's actually a little more complex than that.
>>93248716
It varies because some of the ideas were retcons. Like for instance on Earth-2, Clark always worked at the Daily Star instead of the Daily Planet, but the Daily Planet got introduced in 1940 and the reader would have to imagine some of those Daily Planet stories were actually Daily Star and Perry was actually George Taylor. (On Earth-2, Perry never became editor-in-chief; Clark Kent got the job after Taylor retired and Perry remained a star reporter).
This chronology:
http://www.dcindexes.com/features/chronology.php?page=chronology
Shows you which stories "count" toward Earth-1 and Earth-2 versions of characters. It's case-by-case basis, but the only things you can be very certain of:
-Superman was never Superboy on Earth-2
-Batman never wore the yellow oval symbol on Earth-2
-There's only a Justice Society on Earth-2
-Any stories of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman around during WWII is definitely Earth-2
>>93249595
So this is officially the first DCU MC?

Would you become a supervillian if it meant being caught by your favorite hero?

Power Girl is literally a superior Supergirl, what a fag.

>Power Girl is literally a superior Supergirl, what a fag.
I'm not interested in Vartox's sloppy seconds.
>>93248276
Spend years in prison, just for a few minutes of physical contact with a woman?
You don't have become a supervillain for that, Anon. Real life already works that way.
And why are 70's and 80's superhero comics so much more fun to read then 90% of modern ones?
>>93248080
Does anyone remember that shape-shifting ugly as fuck cannibal?
>>93248241
Cornelius Stirk? If him, he wasn't a shape shifter, he basically produced something in his body that would terrify his victims.
>>93248241
cornelius stirk, had a similar power to scarecrow, just better used.
He was in red Hood a few weeks ago.

What a time to be a fan of all these universes
What's your favourite film in each cinematic universe?
>>93248073
>>93248073
Heist is with Marvel, actually. Ant-Man.
FOX is my favorite but I like all of them. MCU comes in second though.
When will Hollywood make a mainstream adult animated movie that is ether a action movie or a hard drama?
I'm tried of seeing kids movie
>>93248051
isn't don bluth working on a dragon's lair movie?
>>93248051
Never because of the stigma animation is only for kids. That's why you only see shit like south park or sausage party when they try to make adult animation because the west has an extremely shallow definition of what's mature.
>>93248051
I don't know if I'd consider Ralph Bakshi's Coonskin a good example of adult animation.
I know Quentin Tarantino stated this was his favorite Bakshi movie growing up, but I'm still not sure if Bakshi's works are art or trash.
So. I decided to read the entire Bendis run of Ultimate Spider-Man during Spring Break, because I had been avoiding it for a while, and I'm a Spidey fan. After reading dozens of issues, I realized something when I finished: I didn't like it. There are a few aspects that I can really pinpoint for my dislike
Villains: I think Ultimate Gobby is a huge downgrade, his design sucks and his motives are just to kill, and I find that really boring. Every time it's "He breaks out of prison, kills some guys, Peter fights him, goes back to prison". It was so annoying every time he pooped up. Other villains felt meh, no stand outs and not much to look forward too
Supporting Cast:Not a fan of the new characters, every supporting character feels like an angsty version of the originals, and the Gwen/MJ personality swap felt strange to me
Marvel Universe: Why are there so many other heroes in this book? Feels like every other issue has some Avenger or something teaming up or talking shit about Spider-Man. Tangentially, why is everyone in this universe a huge asshole?
Art: I really don't like the art in this. Pic related looks good but the rest of it looks really uninspired and bland to me, it's really easy to tell it's some early 2000s stuff
Anyway one else feel this way? I wanted to like it really bad but I just couldn't, and it kind of soured me on future Spider-Man books if this is really what the fans say is the best of the best
>>93248039
The Ultimate universe was "616 dialed up to 11" from the get go. Mark Millar cemented that idea when he wrote The Ultimates (the ORIGINAL Ultimates, not the current Carol Danvers garbage), and it just stuck from then on. Everyone was an asshole, and they all ended up dying like assholes. They deserved it. Miles escaped thanks to Bendis but he deserves it too.
>>93248145
It makes it hard to enjoy the comic though when everyone is unlikeable. They're not total jerks r anything just annoying at times
tbqh senpai I think there is some nostalgia involved. This was a slot of people's firs Spidey comic and they read it as teens likely. I think it's decent today but definitely not one of Marvel's best like some suggest
Two crazy, psychopathic alien clones who came to earth with one goal in mind. To single handily conquer earth for their galaxy spanning alien empire. If these two were to clash, assuming both Zim and Crypto have full access to all their alien weaponry and vehicles at their disposal who would come out alive?
Zim has the potential to bust a planet with his tech (given he has enough time to put it in place) but his stupidity and ego prevents him from doing so.
Zim's high INT (considering he can manage his tech to begin with for elaborate plots) but has pitiful WIS because he's plagued by his arrogance and needs making his INT never really being used correctly
What's Crypto like?
>>93248069
somewhat laid back and easy going (just wants sex) but he is pretty competent and can pull off what ever he's ordered too
and can think fast on his feet "They've taken away your vodka!!!"
>>93248069
Crypto can best be desribed as a loose cannon with a mini arsenal. Zim prefers to use complicated plans to conquer the earth while Crypto rather just take the direct approach and go head on blowing stuff up. Orthopox his "overseer" so to speak is the one who makes the plans and keeps Crypto on a leash.
