Most cartoons and anime have been boring me lately unless they have a really good style or "theatrical" animation. OK KO didn't impress me and I just tried watching Little Witch Academia (not really /co/, I know) and just couldn't care about anything going on cause I've basically seen that same plot a million times. There's also a lot of shit I haven't seen that people discuss all the time and most of the time I can't go through an episode without feeling absolutely nothing. I don't know if my attention span's to blame or whatever but I'm starting to not feel like a real /co/mrade or cartoonist due to my depleting interest, even though I'm still interested in the actual craft of art and animation.

Get into film and videogames.
The best sources of interest are usually outside your respective fields of expertise, since you dont see the flaws as clearly as you do with the thing you're involved in. It prevents incestuous art habits as well.
It's the curse of any art field, once you get in you'll have less time to appreciate that art and will appreciate it less when you do because it's too familiar.

My interests in games have become limited too, I'm only really looking forward to the new Mario and Sonic games and the inevitable upcoming Smash and Animal Crossing games but most of what I have and have been playing recently are platformers from the NES era to the PS1/N64/etc days. Being depressed and actually no joke autistic isn't helping that much either.

Now that the show is finally premiering next month, what are your expectations, /co/?
This show premiered on the Nick website three years ago, then it became sucessful enough to turn into a full series.
