Does anyone actually like these? Are there any shows that actually do this kind of plot well? Because whenever this kind of episode pops up i hate it, and I have no idea why every kids show feels compelled to do an episode like this.
I liked it in MLP only because it entertained me that Spike (not a pet) saw a pet as a threat, and sort of psychotically faked the murder of a mouse
>It's an "Animal sidekick gets jealous of a new pet" episode
>New pet also happens to be up to no good

What show is this
Whats the deal with the Joker? I hear he is some supernatural, immortal being now and there is 3 of them. Even if Bats was down with killing how is he supposed to stop him?
>>93241232
The former thing was him trolling Batman and a lie. The latter thing hasn't been explained yet.
>>93241291
but hasnt there been a paleman for centuries?
>>93241391
No. You got trolled by the Joker. Don't fret though, tons of people get trolled by the Joker.
Guns in cape comics - yay/nay?
Does anyone here follow Annecy or is it just me? It's like pitch central for new cartoons.
i know not all of the dc animated shows happen in the same universe but if you go by the release date of the comic stories the shows adapt what would be the chronological order order to watch
and i know some of these turned into their own comics later but it is kinda obvious that stuff like batman TAS and justice league go before batman beyond
the thing is i want to watch it all,so i would like to have some kind of watchng order to see it as sort of a history lesson, please include movies and every obscure thing you remember too
i watched a bunch of them already but the only ones i still fully remember right now are
>legion of superheroes
>young justice
>batman brave and the bold
>the teen titans series
>superman doomsday
so i still have a lot of stuff to watch/re watch

ITT: Women of color.
>character trying to teach someone their language
>other character says something that sounds like gibberish
>"What did you say about my mother???"
>You missed.
>I wasn't aiming for you.
>Bunch of crazy contraption shit straight out of the boardgame Mouse-Trap happens
>Hits the target
character is undisciplined but has more potential than the ones who chose to train diligently/ training suits them rather than conform to the training like everyone else.

Wasn't there a Burger King ad that went like that?

>Discussing Marvel on CBR
You asked for this, son.
>>93240545
Who he fucks does not make or break a character. This type of bait is old by now. If the sexuality of a character, a character that does not go on and on about it all the time like some other lame gay characters, is more important than anything else relating to a character you might want to stop reading X-Men and move over to Inhumans.
Seriously, this is some old moldy bait. To post bait, known bait because this stupid topic went on for months, and get banned might be a bit much, but it is fucking CBR. Save your bait for 4Chan, even old shitty bait like this.

Every since Jean outed him Bobby's been acting like a total faggot so he's right in wanting him to bechillagain
Was he actually depressed throughout the series or was it just something that you might read into too much? Aside from his lady troubles leading him to often mope and even be confirmed depressed in one episode, he wasn't fond of his job (called it dead-end, went to a job fair in a cut scene from the movie, and in the movie itself said "I couldn't stay at the park forever, I needed to think about my career) and in the Stuck in an Elevator episode, rather than just having a giving up of getting out line, went on this whole tangent about their lives being shitty now.
So again, did he have depression or was it just a thing? I mean obviously they couldn't have an episode about him getting medication for it, and he also seemed fine most of the time, but maybe it was just something underneath the surface?
>>93240347
I think he wasit's part of what made him attractive to me
>>93240593
>the A word
He had a shitty best friend, a boss that was always on his back because of the shit his friend did (usually), the job he's in being because of his friend, and despite having 2 women that wanted his dick, he couldn't stop having social anxiety. It didn't help one girl was a psychotic bitch and tried to kill people over misunderstandings. His life sucked and there was no way out.
No one told me about this.

Welp, I know where I'm going next weekend.
>Disney attraction about a dog shot up into space by commies to die
That's kinda dark, man.
>>93240612
Well, it's not like Old Yeller at least. He didn't die, obviously but found a comfy home among The Collector's collection.
Did you like it?
Earlier this evening, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck shined the Bat Signal over city hall in memory of Adam West.
>>93240210
Did Batman show up to the call?
>gotham is based off of LA
That explains a fucking lot.
>>93240210
>NYC doesn't do shit when Batman was originally based there
Fuck this city. Can't have cool shit but we can have tons of freakin homeless.
ITT superhero concepts not explored that you'd like to see. I'll start.
I read an article once detailing what would happen if someone tried to hit a baseball at near light speed and it gave me this idea:
I want a speedster that perceives the world in speed force terms, but is bound to realistic physics regarding velocity. In other words, if the flash moves at near light speed, he would cause a nuclear explosion by the time he moved an inch, if the human body comes into contact with something while moving at sonic speed it would cause every bone in the body to shatter. Punch something at 200 miles an hour and you would never write again, with that hand anyway. I want a realistic speedster, perfectly capable of experiencing time at 1-to-100 seconds dilation at will, and ABLE to move as fast as he wants, but handicapped with the knowledge that to do so would destroy him, and the world around him.
>>93240206
thats why that shit wouldn't work cause your MC would dead in the first panel. you need bullshit like speed force
A mysterious vigilante that's actually scary. The stories seat you in the same role as the vigilante's enemies and the enemies' victims in terms of knowing nothing about the vigilante. An observant reader can piece together clues about their powerset, if they have powers at all, but you never get a full name or appearance under the mask.
>>93240346
I always thought the best batman stories where he's actually batmanning were from the perspective of the villains. Like that part of year one where they show that the police think of him as some 7 foot tall gargoyle that can fire its claws like bullets? That shit would work as a serial.
Do people like this show? If so, then why? It just seems so dumb, like more so then most other AS shows. Maybe I just don't get it.
>>93240183
No, its the prime example of an "adult" show relying too much on shock value, the world isn't interesting and the artstyle is disgusting, even Family Guy manages to be more tolerable
>>93240227
the only thing that seems maybe okay is that the dog likes the kid. but that's every show ever with a dog so you're right, there's nothing good about this show. it tries way too fucking hard. also its really fucking ugly
>>93240183
No, its "edgy the show"
Although /co/ sees it as pretty mediocre as a whole is there any specific episodes that stand out as the best this show has to offer?
I think Laser Light Cannon, Winter Forecast and Giant Woman give a good taste of what the show's about if you're interested.
>>93239935
I personally enjoy Giant Woman, Sworn to the Sword, that one where Stevonnie commits a felony and gets away with it and tries to pedobait a teenager/young adult, and Mr Greg.
