The Power of Shazam by Jerry Ordway
The 1994 Graphic Novel that is, 96 pages only but pretty much the foundation of the modern cap

Are you actually asking about Billy? Your post makes it ambiguous. If so,
>Thunderworld
>Johns' stuff
>Curse of Shazam
>Kingdom Come
off the top of my head
I've heard all the Fawcett stuff still holds up.

James Gunn Once Pitched A Power Pack MAX Series To Marvel, But “Marvel Studios Nixed It”
Posted by Jude Terror
But Power Pack almost had a different kind of revival back in 2009, according to Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. According to Gunn, he pitched Marvel an adult-oriented Power Pack MAX series back in 2009, and get this: Marvel was totally on board. Unfortunately, the series was “nixed,” according to Gunn, not by Marvel’s comic division, but by Marvel Studios.

Great, I want fun adventures with the Power Pack back, not some edgy tryhard "mature" version of them, the rest of the comics already shit on the characters enough
The fact that Marvel Studios has the ability to nix plans made by the comic division is disgusting and I hate it.
That said, as much as I like James Gunn, I don't like the sound of that idea at all.

>as much as I like James Gunn
'sup, reddit
It's ugly and repellant and I hate it.
Shit
Gross.
>You're overthinking it.
Bought it as a blind buy this afternoonafter seeing it was featured in the first issue of PanelXPanel.
Now let's take a peek at what the hub-bub is about...
How is this not just a blatant ripoff?
Wacky paperbag doctor is more in line with faust from guilty gear

>>93516053
*gets shit on anyway because /co/ has been hijacked by tumblr*
>>93516067
I never thought he was the messiah like /co/ seemed to used to think. But, unlike what seems to be most of /co/, I still think he's an extremely talented and creative individual.

Marvel just released a new clip for the upcoming Spidey Animated Series
And... it's just as fucking cringeworthy, bland and terribly animated as the previous one was
It's specially annoying how in these mere 4 minutes they manage to beat you on the head multiple times with "Peter Parker is le super geeky nerd XD"
Fuck Marvel

I feel great knowing Ashifags got BTFO hard, so hard that they made a general out of it
Bravo Genndy

What years do you have to be born to be considered an "true early 2000s kid"?
>>93515476
Mid-90s at the latest, duh.
1994-1996
You're a kid from ages five, the first year you're not a toddler, to twelve, the final year before you're an adolescent. The early 2000s themselves lasted from 2000 to 2003, with 2004 being in the mid-2000s despite a of people thinking otherwise. The oldest year of birth for someone who can be considered an early 2000s kid is 1988 (twelve in 2000), and the most recent is 1998 (five in 2003). The pinnacle "early 2000s kid" birth-date would be January 1, 1993. If you were born on that specific date, you would have turned nine (eight and nine are the middle-most "kid" ages) on January 1, 2002, which was the middle-most point of the early 2000s alongside December 31, 2001.
You can only have one, choose wisely.

Any of you write comics when you were younger? If so, what were they about?
>pic unrelated
>>93515106
I tried when I was 13. It was a run of the mill VG webcomic, but I wanted more. This ended up lasting 3 comics.
When I was like 9 or 10 I wrote my own sonic comics based on levels from Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
Yeah they were bad but somehow I actually sold one for 25 cents
>>93515106
It was a boring Animorphs ripoff that I was very proud of.
