How is Pendleton Ward planning on closing the series? He only has until next year
>>93608382
Hasn't Pendleton Ward not been on the show for years?
>>93608418
He boarded and wrote two episodes this season.
>>93608486
Huh, good for him.
What does /co/ think of this story?
>>93608334
Please respond.
>>93608334
Pretty good to be honest
>>93608334
It was fucking glorious. A classic story when Spider-Man was really good.
At least my kid is alive Duane
I feel like we're actually getting some confessions here... that Quigley was part of the reason it all went to hell, the reason they were caught by the gov't and Vienne was killed.
Also, I don't believe for a MINUTE that Vienne wouldn't want her son to learn Pymary. That woman loved pymary. Why wouldn't she want to share that love with her son? No, this is Quigley's guilt talking. Something else is going on.
>>93608305
Is he trying to prove that he's not dead with that khert handshake?
>>93608405
I think he is going to try to make him remember how much joy and good can come from Pymary. He has probably only used it and experienced it in a negative way for years now.
What's the /co/nsensus on The Mighty B? I always avoided watching it while it was airing but I got a hold of all the episodes recently and I'm surprised by how much I'm liking it. Bessie is really endearing.
I loved that show when it was airing. Haven't watched it since but I'm still fond.
>>93608225
I liked it at the time, but all I can remember now is the toilet humor.
>>93608225
It was pretty funny though I wasn't a fan of the gross-out humor.
Woah shit I'm late and nobody else made a thread, really makes you think. Discuss.
This is just morbid.
jesus christ marquess
>>93608079
david is still alive.
Holy shit they're huge
>>93608038
Yeah, she's hot. I like her boobs.
>>93608038
well I think theyre both in heels
>>93608038
When will they learn?
Yes, waifufags welcome.
Let's have a discussion about good ol' Wander, /co/.
I really miss the Watchdogs.
>>93607924
I just started watching this. I'm on episode 13 right now. Wonder is pretty annoying but Lord Hater is the best character and is one of the reasons I keep watching.
>>93608145
>Wonder is pretty annoying but Lord Hater is the best character
Most people see it that way. I find Wander's naivety and unwavering optimism to be endearing.
Are fans of wonderwoman
Satisfied with her characterization?
>>93607826
In what?
>>93607826
Which one?
I would assume that if they are fans, then yes they must like the character of Wonder Woman
Is Mabel implied to have some kind of disorder in the show? Because she displays a lot of abnormal behavior in the show, even for a kid.
Maybe that's why Dipper is fine sacrificing his own happiness for her in parts of the show, he knows there's something wrong with her.
She acts like she has down syndrome
>>93607779
Not this meme again...
Dipper literally says he got everything he wanted.
>>93607779
if that's abnormal to you, that's.. really sad.
JOHN LASSETER HAS A GUN TO YOUR HEAD AND GIVES YOU TEN SECONDS TO PITCH A NEW DISNEY PRINCESS MOVIE
WILL YOUR IDEA BE GOOD ENOUGH TO ENSURE YOUR SURVIVAL? CAN YOU SAVE PRINCESS MOVIES?
>>93607499
Alright so there's this girl.
She's tall, like really tall. Six feet.
And she's so tall that, uh, she can't get married, because none of the other guys wanna marry her. So she goes into the woods and becomes strong and independent and a pirate, and comes back in secret to her home, but her dad recognizes her and there's this whole elaborate tournament set up for her heart and in the end it's a metaphor for family.
>>93607499
Um the girl is a princess from some Brazilian folktale letting Disney do a South American princess movie?
>>93607499
IT'S A REGULAR PRINCESS MOVIE BUT IT'S THE PRINCESS RESCUING THE PRINCE FROM THE HIGH TOWER
We all agree that 2007 was the real, "concrete" downhill slide for Cartoon Network right? 2006 was a mediocre year for them, but I believe 2007 is when it was *blatantly* headed downhill.
After the Boston bomb scare incident in February 07, Jim Samples resigned and Stuart Snyder took over as president. Under his watch,
-CN City ended in June 07
-The beloved Fridays block ended in Feb 07 and was replaced with the poor Fried Dynamite
-The shitty version of Toonami began (the one with soccerball-faced TOM as the mascot) in March 2007
-The seeds of CN Real were planted in Sept 07 with the show Out of Jimmy's Head
-Network began showing shit reruns like Johnny Test, 6teen, Total drama island, and George of the Jungle
>>93607052
It's been really interesting seeing the sliding window. I remember not too many years ago when that time frame was considered well past the CAN prime.
Shows like Jimmy Neutron and others from that era were considered mediocre to bad. Now I see people talk about them highly.
Nothing wrong with it, but keep an eye out for it. You'll probably be able to see it too in a few years when new kids start coming in.
>>93607052
2007 was a mistake, but imo CN recovered afterwards. You got god tier shows like Chowder and Flapjack, Total Drama turned out to be decent in the end, Symbionic Titan and Robotomy were fantastic before they got canned, and Adventure Time, Regular Show, and even Steven Universe all showed the promise of a strong new, bolder direction for the channel. And then after that we got a fucking Toonami revival out of the fucking blue.
Then all their shows either stagnated or got cancelled, and well now TTG airs 60 times a day, and it seems like the miracle wore off.
>>93607093
What does "CAN" stand for?
other than the whole "appeal to the most number of people" approach (keep it "for all audiences"), what other factors prevent the WWE from making a serious cartoon (make it too serious and sponsors will pull their support from the main product)?
>>93606774
>what other factors prevent the WWE from making a serious cartoon
they've yet to make any serious content at all.
>>93606774
>WWE
>serious

>>93606841
yeah, they've been in that position as early as 1985
was thinking stuff like undertaker-kane-paul bearer's collective history can be done in the animated movie format.

>>93606717
Everything except for Juniper Lee was good.
GOAT lineup
Not as good as 2001-2004, but /co/ is 17 on average so they would think 2005 was the peak of CN
TRY AND CATCH ME BITCH!
what did he mean by this
>>93606684
Heh, I just finished binge watching this 20 min ago.
Now I can suffer just like every other Clone High fan
WHY, I'M A SCUDWORTH!
Why doesn't Steven Universe have any world building of the human aspects in the show?
>>93606435
That's definitely one of the series' greatest detriments. There's nothing that shows how Earth was affected by the war to any great extent, and it's honestly really aggravating.
>>93606435
Because they don't feel like exploring that?
Look, I mean, whatever, SU suck, but even I'm not as anal to not understand that the show is focused in character relationship building over world building. since the beginning is not that type of history.
>>93606435
Dude. What did SU do to you that is causing you to make this same post nearly daily?
