Is she the Roman Reigns of comics?
Yes.
Yup.
>>93627126
Dunna. Dunna. Dunna. Dunn Dunn
Were the Garfield comic strips ever good?
No.
Now where could my pipe be?
>>93627150
No joke, I believe in god now because of that comic.
Yes, I know it's looking more and more like this is going to be the reality.
I'm hoping they clean house when it comes to editorial.
Or beat DC in the race to become a reprint farm.
Comic Shops NEED Marvel and DC, both of them, to stay afloat. If Marvel goes down they take DC and indie comics with them. Since the comics are just a story farm for films they may be crashing the plane with no survivors on purpose.
We'll be treated to another couple years of flailing before they finally have to get off their asses and fix things.

>At this point, Marvel Comics’ marketing folk were expecting everyone to betalking about Marvel Legacy ahead of their creative team reveals. Unfortunately, they’re all talking abouta cover byHoward Chaykin. And those who are still talking about Marvel Legacy, it’s not in a positive way.
>The marketing has screwed the pooch, creators are gossiping against the publisher like crazy, whipping each other up, and DC Comics is poking around to find out who might be interested in a conversation about working for them instead. Out of the fat and into the fire?
>We mentioned that not announcing the creative teams yet — and not allowing the creatives to discuss the comics that they are currently working on — has contributed to the lacklustre impact so far. But it appears it’s not just a marketing move intended to release information instages and keep the conversation going.
>I have been given to understand that in a number of significant cases, the creative teams haven’t been locked down and are still in flux. Indeed, if social media wanted to campaign for or against a certain creator on a certain book, this mightbe the most receptive time.
>There are big books that will have real market impact being lined up for late 2017 and early 2018, but marketing decided to push hard in September and October instead of waiting a little longer. The homage covers were a filler announcement. Marvel Editor-In-Chief Axel Alonso is receiving heat for allowing them to be hypedup in the way they were.
>The ComicsPro call last week reassured retailers about 2018 plans and asked them for patience. Whether that will be rewarded with orders is to come…
Well /co/? Who are you planning to lobby Marvel to write all 52 Legacy books? Who do you think DC will steal away?
How does that saying goes? Looting a burning house?
>>93626937
That house is ridden with plague carrying mice.
>>93626804
Well Kate Leth has been VERY vocal about her displeasures with Civil War II and the editorial mismanagement over at Marvel
Her writing may not be to /co/'s taste but I could see DC scooping her as there's no shortage of C-lister heroines to give her...
Marvel can't afford to lose GWW... I shudder to think what they would do to Kamala in her absence
Bendis will go down with the fucking ship just so long as his donut steels get to wear the captain's hat
Artists (aside from Frank Cho) are most likely to jump ship given Marvel's low opinion on their name value
this is the future
>>93625972
Isn't that the tower from Arkham City?
>>93625972
Can't wait til Harley joins the Bat-family.
Gay writers were a mistake.

Please tell me this is a shop. Please tell me we don't live in the darkest timeline.
Wow Nick Shore was really dedicated to the cause.

>OP's face when.
>>93625918
This.
Yeah it's stupid, but Peter is 15 now isn't he? Teenagers say stupid shit like this all the time.
Rick and Morty is for intelligent people.
>twitter memes

>The only decent character out of the 9
>Is the one that is excluded
Truly...activates the almonds...woah
>>93625665
Intelligent people don't repost .jpg memes with excessive compression that they found on social media, but what would you know about that.
What are some good comics that feature Body Horror?
New 52 Animal Man
Also Junji Ito
Black Hole

should i drop this /co/?
im only on season 2 but fuck im so bored and korra is annoying as hell
>>93624783
Why would you continue watching something that bores and annoy you?
Season 3 is the only one worth watching.
>>93624802
Ultimately this. It's really not that serious OP.
I did enjoy parts of seasons 3 and 4 more than 2 and I don't hate the series as much as the rest of /co/, but if you already don't like it then you might as well stop. There's other shit to watch and read.
>We talked with Marvel very closely about their future roadmap, about what's gonna be happening. Your modern Marvel fan, maybe they don't even remember some of the X-Men characters, but they know some of the Guardians characters or Black Panther. You know what I mean? Captain Marvel may seem like a strange pick, but she's fantastic. She fits the gameplay. She fits the story, and they're gonna be really pushing her as a strong female lead all the way up into the movie. We're trying to take everything into account and choose the best characters.

>>93624240
They already did
No, but Ike Perlmutter surely is
>>93624240
What are you new? This has been obvious for years now. It's just that fans still buy the shit. At least they don't buy Inhumans stuff.
I'll start
>>93624198
OP why didn't you post a character to start the discussion. It's just an empty picture.
>>93624232
Is this the new brick wall/snake meme?
>>93624198
Nah, mainly because she and Jack definitely boned and also I dont think she technically died.
Was it, dare I say it, /ouroriginstory/?
Birthing matrix was retarded and business man Lex is a dates 80s concept, but overall it's alright. John Byrne is great and I think the miniseries as a whole gets too much shit
>>93623186
>John Byrne is a great artist
Fix'd.
When is Byrne supposed to off himself? 2020?
Would anyone recommend? I was curious about Legendary Godzilla's backstory and I heard that explains it pretty well
>>93622092
No clue, great cover though. Hit up readcomicsonline. to (no space) and read a issue. If you like it buy it.
>>93622092
It's pretty good. I found Shinomura cool.
>>93622092
To save you some cash I will just tell you his backstory
>we don't see when he was born
>he tanks the Permian extinction meteor point blank (making him at least 252 million years old in the movie)
>survives because he's Godzilla and just doesn't give a fuck
>throughout history he goes in and out of hibernation
>he fights a new kaiju called Shinomura which like The Thing, can survive if any piece of it survives
> Godzilla chases it to the Bikini Atoll
>the government uses Castle Bravo to try to kill them both
>Shinomura dies due to its weakness to heat
>Godzilla lives without a scratch
This is all canon BTW
Is it going to objectively good or just "alright" like most MCU movies?
>>93619340
It'll be a decent cape movie like most cape movies and /co/ will shit on it and false flag about how great DC is, even though /co/ doesn't like DC movies anymore than Marvel ones.
>>93619340
It will make money, lots of money. Doubt it will beat Wonder Woman. It will be a typical capeshit popcorn movie. People who whine about it now without seeing it will still watch it and those who do not will still bitch as if they have. It is the circle of life with capeshit movies. Everyone whines, everyone defends, everyone still sees it (legal or illegally).
