One year after JUSTICE LEAGUE, Barry Allen is trying to find his place in the world and learn more about his powers after breaching the time barrier during Steppenwolf's invasion, aided by Cyborg.
Barry crosses paths with the Rogues, a team of ex-military criminals led by Leonard Snart and formed by Lisa Snart, Sam Scudder, Mick Rory and Marco Mardon, who are planning a heist against A.R.G.U.S. and its technologies. Once the Rogues figure out that the Flash cares about Central City and its people, they set up a series of dangerous time-pressing traps across the city as a diversion to complete their job, and Barry has to race against time to stop them.
Featured characters include aspiring reporter Iris West, forensic analyst Patty Spivot, Police Captain David Singh, S.T.A.R. Labs scientist Claudio Mardon and A.R.G.U.S. operative King Faraday, plus Cyborg and Henry Allen. Eobard Thawne is alluded, but doesn't actually appear.
Joby Harold is currently revising the script while Warner is in final negotiations with Robert Zemeckis to direct the movie. He's expected to do his own revisions, but Warner likes Harold's vision and doesn't appear to straying much from it.
Rumored previous versions of the script.
Seth Grahame-Smith's draft.
>Barry Allen travels one day back in time in JUSTICE LEAGUE and is determined to do it again in order to return 15 years to the past, save his mother Nora and prove the innocence of his father Henry. Barry also begins investigating the murders of scientists connected to a secret program funded by the United States government to harness the Speed Force. The scientists created a machine that accidentally exploded and gave Barry his powers. Barry finds out that the killer is another speedster, Zoom, who also murdered his mother, and exposes him as one of the program's members, Eobard Thawne.
>Thawne comes from the future and is obsessed with the Speed Force and travelled back in time to murder Barry's mother in order to psychologically undermine him. He then joined the program but sabotaged the machine so that the explosion would create the Flash, ensuring that Thawne learns about him and the Speed Force in the future, and also turn Thawne into a speedster. Barry and Thawne breach the time barrier and realize both of their existences are bound to time paradoxes, which prevents Barry from saving his mother without destroying the timeline. He instead removes Thawne's powers and exposes him as her killer. Thawne is then arrested while Henry is released and reunited with Barry.
>Featured characters are Barry's childhood friend Iris West; Barry's wisecracking colleague Kyle Rhodes; Barry's hotshot rival Detective Adam Cruz; Captain David Singh; and Dr. Jay Garrick, the man who first discovered the Speed Force and briefly mentors Barry before being murdered by Zoom. Cyborg made a cameo.
I don't care about this.
Fanfic Friday
Who's the fastest Flash?
>>93875176
Officially it changes between Barry and Wally, but I think currently it's Barry?
But in actuality it's Zoom. Not Professor Zoom, the other one.
He's totally cheating though.
>>93875176
>>93876761
Wally is currently faster, as far as I know. Did something happen recently to change this?
>>93875176
Barry had gone the fastest for one instance, but Wally is overall shown to be faster.
>>93876886
It's why I phrased it as a guess. Barry went the fastest that one time, so he might be technically considered faster officially, even though Wally is usually shown to be faster.
How will /co/ ever recover?

What?
Can we have a nice X-Men and mutants related thread?
What's your favorite X-book right now?
Who is your favorite character?
Who is your waifu?
And who's your favorite writer?
Who are the quintessential X-Men in terms of the team itself, other than Prof. X?
Doesn't have to be a set team or number, I'm aware X-Men are a particularly character-loaded franchise. But don't let it extent on or on.
>>93874965
Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops and Wolverine are the only quintessential ones.
Jean not, because X Men is better when she is dead, and she was dead much of the 80s, and most of this century.
Storm would have been super quintenssential until the 90s, she was the leader of the XMen for much of the 80s, their best period, but she hasnt been written well in decades.
tier 1
Professor X, Cyclops, Wolverine
Tier 2
Storm
Tier 3
Jean, Emma, Beast, Rogue
tier 4 (nice to have around but not a lot of character development)
Psylocke, Colossus, Wolverine, Magik, Nightcrawler
Who thought bringing the O5 to our time was a good idea?
how did they become such good friends?

Stopping a hundred year old war together make people grow close with each other.
There was also the business with the Boiling rock
Zuko taught Sokka how rough it was.
Could Conor McGregor or Floyd Mayweather take on Batgirl?
Realistically, yes. Gender strength gap and all that. In the comics, no, of course not. Batgirl has some kind of superhuman strength and speed that puts her on the level of a peak olympic male athlete. Not to mention all the gadgets.
If I could get my Laptop to work i would post a screenshot of Arkham Knight Batgirl with hundreds of thugs knocked cold at her feet
>>93874915
Let's just say no gadgets then.
How bad does Legacy bomb?
That all depends if we have reached peak diversity
>>93874952
Marvel still doesn't have a major transgender hero that they're trying to shove down our throats. We haven't reached peak diversity yet.
>>93874813
>>93874952
>>93874991
3 retards. Marvel is the market leader, sales king and unit share.
All this a compromise.
Which one is the best dad?

From what I've seen, there are four types of comic nerds. Here is my personal breakdown from what I have observed:
Type A: Genuinely likes and reads comics with frequency and has a vested interest in the medium, mythology, and production. Attends comic conventions for comics, meeting creators, and occasionally cosplaying. These fans have varied tastes in their enjoyment of adaptations of the source material, but almost always use the source material as a blueprint for how they will enjoy the adaptations.
Type 2: Genuinely has an interest in comic mythology and superheroes but doesn't read a lot of comics. Still, they don't do it for attention, they just don't have the attention span or means to pick up comics weekly. They will, however, read stuff with genuine interest if you give it to them or recommend it. These are the types that might be classified as above "normie" status. They know things an average person wouldn't know, and they can hold a conversation with Type A's with relative comfort. These people enjoy the company of Type A's because they can learn a lot from them and gather recommendations and knowledge about comics, eventually allowing them to eventually progress to becoming Type A's themselves. A lot of Type B's start out as Type C's; getting their first break into comics through adaptations of comic books.
