This isn't shit writing, this is just because the franchise doesn't technically HAVE a continuity. The episodes are not meant to flow from one to another, and different people write different episodes. The episodes are suppose to stand alone.

That movie was hot garbage made for people who never picked up a comic book in their lives, the lego Batman was a fun character in the first lego movie because his personality being like that came out of nowhere, making an entire movie around it got old quick and the plot was extremely boring, they had all those obscure villains but did nothing with them to focus on a shitty plot because hurr durr Joker is gay muh parents are dead ecks dee

The first half of the movie was a pretty inspired deconstruction of Batman and the entire franchise. The second half is garbage though because it stops being what the first half was. Literally the only thing I could remember from the second half was the color orange.

It's presumably mass production, yeah. Functionally it's not that different from how species on earth work, each having their own mindsets, abilities, and physical similarities to the rest of their species. The difference is just that gems arent self-replicating and thus a central authority needs to make conscious decisions about which types to create.

We can see with the Amethysts that they're all generally pretty laid back and lazy, but in the cases of the Pearls, I think it'd be less easy to define since they seem to be heavily influenced by whoever owns them.

i.e Blue Pearl is reserved and quiet like Blue Diamond usually is, while Yellow Pearl is much more dynamic and prideful, as well as having more of a temper, like Yellow Diamond. We don't know what our Pearl was originally like, but we can still see that she at least tries to mimic Rose's strength and kindness.

Unfortunately Cassie currently has basically no relationship with Diana and even less so with Batman or Superman so there's like no reason whatsoever for them to trust her with their own children.

I would like Jason and Diana to meet again and reference the teasing in For the Man Who Has Everything.
