Yeah it's pretty good for my area. Very quiet, spend most of the night sitting on the office computer unless someone is checking in late. However, I have to run the audit in 30, so it's time to do some more breakfast set up. Most of the stuff out I put out when I got in at 11 to save time later. Because the audit runs late on Saturday due to system updates, it runs when I'd usually be making coffee and getting shit ready for the kitchen crew

There's almost always dirty dishes on the week end from guests using them and leaving them on the lobby so I've had those soaking in hot water from the coffee machine and soap for about 3 hrs.

After soaking for hours the water is luke warm and anything that hasn't come off does so easily with a spray from the water wand. While the rinse cycle runs, I drain the old coffee pots and start brewing the new ones. Incidentally this fresh coffee has been sitting in it's basket getting stale for hours, which is why hotel coffee tastes like ass

Well that didn't happen, but I did just get pulled back to the desk by a cop to help someone. I come out of the kitchen and theres an officer in a fucking tac vest there. The guy with him is some gay dude who got beat up by his boyfriend, he's crying and sobbing and needs some place to stay for the night. Of course, i'm sold out, and this guy just begs me for a room while the cop stands there with kind of a shrug.

So I fucking bumped someone who hasn't showed up, hopefully they don't, free cancel for them. I just got finished helping him carry his shit up to his room because of course all our luggage carts are missing. Now it's time to run the audit.
