How viable is cooking chicken from frozen
>>
roasting frozen meat works just fine-it actually improves the results for lean and dry meats. add at least 50% to cooking time otherwise proceed as normal.

getting that shit out of the package when its frozen is the hardest part, I always unwrap and portion my meats before freezing
>>
If you have 2-4 hours get a bowl of tap water and throw them in there (in a bag or package so they don't soak up the water)

If you don't have time you can defrost in the microwave.

Its not.
Run cold water over it and it will thaw in about a hour.

stop it. stop it. you have no idea what you are talking about. Cooking frozen meat is perfectly fine and works 100% of the time.
>>
>>8530687
Depends entirely what you're doing with it.

Making a blanket statement that cooking food while frozen is 100% fine in every situation just makes you look retarded
>>
>>8530633
I wouldn't recommend it.

Thaw the shit so it's pliable enough to season, OP.

I see chicken in OP.
Have you ever tried pan frying frozen chicken?
>>8530682
How do you thaw frozen meat?
>>
>>8530633
if you do it sous vide its the exact same cooking time as if it was room temp.
>>
>>8530711
>pan frying frozen chicken?

yes. works fine, but you have to increase cooking times by 50% at least
>>
>>8530633
It's alright.
Put it in a hot pan, with a little oil.
Wait until surface is a bit brown, then decrease temperature and wait until it's all cooked.

No need to thaw, but be sure that it's not raw in the center.
>>
Just me...
From frozen...let thaw desired portion two hours.
Still semi-frozen, spread thin with meat tenderizer
So what'cha gonna do?

Baked
Tin foil lined pan; canola oil
garlic Italian seasoning, pepper,
both sides get the treatment
375 for 10-13 minutes, depending

Breaded:
thawed chickennnnnnn
one bowl, two plates
beaten eggs on one side, plate one Italian seasoning, plate two prep for cooking
dip, breading--double dip-breading again--on to plate two; repeat
Heat pan, fry on lower heat to cook inside first...

>I always unwrap and portion my meats before freezing

>>
>>8530901
